How to set ringer volume permanently? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Windows Mobile General

I regularly use "Change Profile" to reduce the phone ringer volume to Medium, but it always resets itself to Maximum when the phone soft resets (which it does every night after backing up).
Is there any PERMANENT way of setting ringer volume which will survive a soft reset?

How to permanently change ringer volume in profile?

Apologies if I've asked this before, but does anyone know how to PERMANENTLY change the ringer volume in the "Normal" profile? My phone backups/reboots every night, at which point the ringer volume always resets itself to maximum.

HTC Volume Manager and Ring and Vibrate

I was wondering if there is anyway to make the htc's single volume slider to include the ring and vibrate profile. If I change the phone's volume say to vibrate, I cannot get back to ring and vibrate unless I go and change that in the ring settings. It would be nice to just press up on the volume key until it went to the profile, or make the top "volume" turn on ring and vibrate.
Hope this helps:

Thanks for the help, but that program also doesnt let me go back to the vibrate and ring profile just by turnign up the volume. My end goal is to be able to turn up the volume and have it hit the "vibrate and ring" profile by doing that.

Why is my notification sound so loud?

If I listen to it where I select it, its the correct volume. When my phone is just sitting there, and a txt comes in, its at least twice as loud. This is with my ringer volume set one click above vibrate.
you have to manually set notification volume in settings. the ringer volume doesn't set it like every other phone. one of my pet peeves with this phone.
One thanks button for you
I use Volume Control from the market.
Very, very easy to set the volume for System, Ringer, Notification, Media, Alarm, and In Call.
Cheers

[Q] Bluetooth music volume defaults to minimum level

I am familiar with the "Music, Video, Games, & Other Media," setting within the Volume menu in settings. I have that set to just under max. My issue is that when I listen to music in my car or on my bluetooth headphones the volume almost always starts at the minimum level and I am forced to manually turn it up. It seems to be related to when the phone's ringer is set to vibrate but it has also happened when the ringer is on high. My previous smartphone was an iphone 4 and on that phone the bluetooth music volume had nothing to do with the ringer settings. Part of my frustration is that it's not a consistent problem, occasionally the music volume defaults to what I have it set to in the settings menu. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Minimum volume too loud

I found the minimum volume too loud in many cases. I.e. the lowest volume is too loud in a silent room, press the volume down button once more and it goes completely silent, and there is nothing between... Is there any way to re-calibrate the volume settings?
