Hello
I've just got my new TP2 a few days ago, and today I got a problem:
I the "status"-bar in the top op the screen, the battery is always full - even if it's empty..
So, today my phone suddently went black - the battery got empty..
So, the UI (TouchFLO3D) didn't "know" that the battery got empty..
Anyone tried something like that?
**EDIT**
Problem solved - installed 1% battery driver, and uninstalled again

Hi there,
got my galaxy nexus yesterday and have to say i'm really impressed
but mine has a battery bug, not very fatal but it's there
i'm in an app (yesterday it happened once using youtube and some time later using imdb) and suddenly the screen flutters to warn me due to low battery, battery indicator showing low.
when i switch back to the homescreen the battery indicator went back to normal (~60% at that time)
anyone else recognized this?
infos: all stock, build is ITL41F
Cycle your battery a few times and see if it persists.
There have been similar threads before... but my case is kinda different. :c
Problems started a couple days ago. Using the AOKP M3 rom, on the lockscreen, it says the phone is charging. However it is not plugged in... so i rebooted. Still there.
Then i went ahead and cleared battery stats and cache. Still there. I started to every combination of CWM tools to attempt to fix the problem. Still no luck. Says charging... Then i realized that maybe its the software side. (Being very optimistic that it isnt a hardware issue) So i check the About Phone setting in the Settings.
It says Discharging which i thought meant "ok its the rom" so i went ahead and flashed Andriod HD revoultion. Still charging on lockscreen and battery icon...
Anyone know anything about a fix? or something i really dont want to send it in.......... although i guess i can live without my phone for a week or so.
Any solutions tho?
Note: Lockscreen says Charging. Battery Icon is Charging icon. About Phone is Discharging and the Battery graph is at 1s on Battery forever :c
EDIT: the Battery setting now says Discharging. It is only the lockscreen and icon at this point.

You got hit with this:
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=23789
It's pretty damn common I'd say (my phone had it and I exchanged it), so either replace the USB board yourself (as people on that site confirmed it works) or send it in for repairs. There's nothing else you can do unfortunately.
Sucks that such a bug exist without any real communication from Samsung or Google.
Hi, today i got a new sim as my old one had ran out. I was on around 74%. i put the sim in my phone, turned it on and the battery was on 9%. in battery usage you can see the sudden fall, uploaded here:
http://postimage.org/image/9hshppzol/
also, when i go to phone info, it displays my phone number as 00000000000
I can still text and call, and the reciever gets my normal number
Ive tried a reboot, removed sim and replaced it but still the same problem
Im fully stock, nothing changed.
Anybody get any idea what i could do?
Thanks
Title really says it all: for the past several days whenever my battery goes bellow 80% the right side of the touchscreen stops working and as a result I can't even unlock it. I have tried reverting to the original HTC Android that it came with but that did not help and now I am back to the CM7 I had been using. It is the one from this thread in case you need any more details.
I also did a battery stats wipe when I first installed CM7 a few days ago.
Hi all
I've been trying to solve this problem for a few months now. Basically, the majority of the time this happens is when my phone is under 55% battery.
- When opening an app the phone will restart itself. Sometimes it restarts at the exact same battery percentage level, other times it restarts and it is sitting at 3% battery.
This has also happened when the phone was at over 75% battery.
I notice that a lot of the time when it restarts all of my widgets are gone. I have animations turned off in developer settings and occasionally when it restarts these are turned back on again. I'm using a custom keyboard and occasionally when it restarts it will reset to the factory keyboard with vibrations and sounds turned back on.
My phone is not rooted and I'm not using a case. The phone is 1 year 4 months old, although since it started a few months ago it was around the 1 year mark. So no warranty. My software is up to date and all apps are updated. Play store says none of them are corrupted.
I contacted HTC support and they suggested testing the battery by charging to 100% then turning it on airplane mode with the screen on full brightness and leaving it for 1 hour to see how much the battery drains. It only drained 2% (he said it could drain up to 25%) so it is not the battery. He then said I should test the apps to see if one of them is causing it. Unfortunately there are no HTC service centres in Sydney (only retailers who double as service centre) so I'd have to send it away for HTC to check it.
Yesterday I thought it could be the htc flip clock, as since the last restart that was the only widget I had and it disappeared on the restart yesterday, so I removed it and kept using the phone to see what happened. The battery was able to still be used without restarting down to under 15% which has not happened for months, so I'm thinking it could be that widget causing the issue. I've since added a different clock/weather widget but I hate the look of it and it doesn't open the stock HTC weather app when clicked.
So I guess my question is, is anyone else having this same issue and if so, did you find the cause of the issue/have you managed to fix it?
I'd rather not do a system restore unless completely necessary as I'm about to go overseas for a month and I don't want to risk losing anything so close.
Thanks in advance for any help. Hopefully I've added all relevant info.
So after removing the flip clock widget and replacing with another and all day use my battery is down to 27% and has not restarted once. I may have solved my own problem, although it doesn't explain why the battery drains so fast but I guess I can work that out on my own.
Hopefully anyone else with this issue will find this and solve it too.
Cheers
Test it with some battery drainer first, if it reboot then it is the battery.
My 10 just got the battery replaced by HTC had similar issue, it will reboot when high cpu usage and battery level under 40%, it will seems working ok if there is little cpu usage and will only turn off at about 3~5%
