cant log in to facebook

hey, for some reason i cant log in to facebook using pocket IE. any ideas why? is there some other browser i can use that would work? if so, how do i get it? thanks
omar
I assume you mean the mobile version of it. It used to work. No idea why it stopped. I just go to the standard version now. PITA. Maybe the carrier?

Nope, its Internet Explorer. Bookmark this link and you should be good to go...
http://www.facebook.com/login.php
If that does not work. Go on your PC and login. Use the sub-link that is placed before facebook.com and replace the www above with it.

U can also clear ur history and temporary internet files. And make sure u get the security warning. Once u get it, ur good to go. At first i thought it was Gmail but it seems its a IE thing.
edit: It is a gmail thing. At least for me. Scroll to bottom and click "view in HTML" and u'll get security warning.
loggin into facebook is the easy part, but can you post on walls? I've had no luck doing that
The mobile version of the site is far better.
http://m.facebook.com
Mobile Facebook is great. I just got on it today because they recently did a redesign which is making it a pain to view in Pocket IE.
I also have problems logging into m.facebook.com but I usually get to the login screen and then use the link at the bottom of the page to do a standard login. The only thing that annoys me is that if I use my P990i instead I stay permanantly logged in on it, whereas my MDA Mail (UK Spec) keeps on logging me out grrr.
If you're having trouble getting the login at m.facebook.com to work, try this link instead:
http://m.facebook.com/login.php?http&next=http://m.facebook.com/home.php
Bookmark that, and you'll be good to go. It basically forces you to the HTML login page instead of the WAP login, but keeps you on the mobile interface to save data.

Opera Mini

Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with Opera Mini (and the fix if there is one!)
Basically; sometimes when I connect to websites that require you to log-in e.g. Hotmail, Gmail, Facebook etc. - I don't get to the page to enter details, and it goes straight in - into someone's else profile / or e-mail...
I'd rather it not happen to me, so I'm asking is it just my phone?
On T-Mobile in the UK, running the excellent Artemis Touch ROM
No mate, apparently opera store the cookies on their site so dont use it mate. I believe theres a fix for it in Meschles touch 4.2. Have a look there.
I've had the same problem and i'm using now the beta 4.1 from opera. It is fast and it display full internet pages

[Q] Browser keeps scrolling/panning right on some web sites

Strange browser problem that I have noticed on different Rom's (currently have Fresh 3.2.0.0).... On some web sites, the page continues to grow wider even after it appears to finish loading. The page then slowly moves to the right and I have to keep moving the screen back to center. Some sites like XDA, never show this problem. It seems to be most common with some news websites, but I don't have a list.
Any ideas? I have plugins set to on demand.

Forum problem with FireFox

Over the last few days, the forum has been unreadable with Firefox (on Win7). Every forum page constantly reloads. To be able to scroll, click a link, or anything else, I have to click the "stop" button. And I even have to time that just right or it either still reloads the page again, or it stops before it loads any content so I just have a blank white page. I did not update Firefox between the page working and not working correctly. I have since updated it, but no change. I have killed all of my add-ons (just NoScript and a couple web development based add-ons) and it still does it.
I can browse the forums in IE, but even there I notice the "xda" logo on the IE tab flashes between the logo and the reloading circle symbol.
Is it just me, or is it something with the site? This is the only web site I'm having any problems with.
All fine here on Windows 7 and Firefox.
Once I load an actual post (such as this one) the reload issue stops. It only happens on the levels up from this one.
mother ****ing win
Yeah it was giving me issues too but in ubuntu, so I went to look for another browser.
When I stumbled upon this:
I have been having the same issue. I read a few days back that someone thought there were issues with NoScript in Firefox. I wish someone would respond and fix or suggest a fix.
In the meantime, I either use Chrome or switch back to the 2010 theme for XDA in Firefox, and they work fine (though I would prefer the 2013 beta theme if it were working).

Problem with displaying web pages in ANY browser

Hi! Since I'm new to the forums I would like to kindly request your help.
I've just bought the Lg G4 and restored my settings with my gmail account, after that, the Chrome app when I try to load certain sites, it loads them partially and a page number appears generally above all the site or below so I can see that site "by page numbers". Which is only resolved by requesting desktop site (on certain sites). I never had that issue before when I was in Lollipop and I've been looking around for a solution and found nothing. Could you help me with this issue?
By the way, other browsers seem to have this very same problem.
Thank you very much for your help
