So im in the market for a new battery. A higher capacity one but slimline. I do not want a different size battery door. Anybody know of any good ones for a decent price?
Great question. I'm wondering the same thing.
I bought this one. I had to wait a month for it since is came from Hong Kong. I can get ~16 hours running the screen at 80% brightness, texting alot, 3g radio always on, constantly checking email. No complaints other than the time it took to ship.

I was sceptical but the reviews swayed me and I tried these- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XOUM12
I'm pleasantly surprised, I notice a definite difference in battery life and the wall charger is a bonus. For the price it's hard to beat and delivery was within a week.

$24??? Ouch man. I've bought tons of them and I always get them for $17 for two of them and a charger with free shipping. It usually only takes 2 weeks to get here.

Personally I have found these batteries no better than the stock htc red. With juice defender I get fair batt life with either...10-16 hours or so. I do find the wall charger useful as the battery never gets fully charged when charging in the phone.
There are no slim batteries that are better than stock, the only thing to increase your battery is to add a few millimeters oh my god, to your phone and get a 3500 you won't be disappointed, and yes like someone already said, use the search button next time this must be my like 6th time answering this question muskeg let alone if someone else did too, which I feel has happened too

the battery i have is a 2000mAh i checked it over. seems fine to me.
i get 17-22 hours with my best buy platnium battery (seido knock off) tht i bought off ebay.. so i would disagree there are some extended battery tht does work and there are some that doesnt have the right mah...
I have the 2000mah battery and its marginally better than my OEM battery.
The Seidio stock size extended battery sucks. Doesn't even charge past 90% anymore, and I didn't really notice a difference.

there isn't a real 2000mah battery for the evo, yours is most likely 1400 repackaged to say 2000. how exactly did you check it over, with your eyes?

The Best Buy battery isn't a Seidio knock-off - it IS a Seidio battery that they package for Best Buy.

This cool little thing called a volt meter. We have them in the 21st century, definitely should check it out.

Granted, it's another unit, but today I picked up a 5000 mAh battery pack and the sucker lasts forever. Costs about 50 bucks. (Mind you, it takes forever to charge, but if you play hog heavy games like ingress, it's absolutely worth it, if you don't mind being wired up to something else.. (It's about the size of an old iPod). But for a better battery that you wouldn't know is there, that one looks not bad...

I bought a different power bank instead which my brother misplaced sadly. The cost was around 15-17 $ as far as i remember and the capacity was 5000 mAh. It used to take 6-7 hours to charge but was capable to charge the phone around 2.5-3 times on every charge.
Have a look at this:

I prefer the 2800mah one, which acts as a phone casing too. More convenient I would say.
Hey all!
I just found out my battery is swollen. It's not so bad now, it lasts a day where it should last 2-3 days with that usage. But I don't want to end up my phone exploding in my pocket.
So I'm buying a battery from Ebay and I can't simply trust these guys saying "GENUINE OMFGS LOL!!1!". I have one chance to buy as it takes weeks to arrive and I need the battery ASAP.
Anyone bought a battery from Ebay? Which one is really genuine and which one is not? Which one looks more genuine. I don't want extended batteries. I need "original, genuine, g8, wildfire" battery. I need your help choosing one

Thanks in advance.

Amazon does ship to my country but the shipping rates are so ridiculous I don't even bother looking. Anyhoo I bought a battery from eBay which wasn't working but they sent another one, the second one is working well and I'm using it. Should've updated the thread but there was so much steam on me at the date I didn't even remember. Thanks for your kind answer.
Hey guys, i have a question, as i play in a band we travel alot and sometimes we aren't home for two to three days and i use my phone alot, and i also need it sometimes for lyrics on stage, and im a bit fed up of charging my phone in bars/clubs before we get on the road again, and i looked abit around Acessories section and i found three extended batteries that caught my attention. These are: Hyperion 6000mAh, MPJ 6000 mAh, and Mugen 6000mAh batteries. Now i don't know the difference between these three, but i suppose the difference in battery life itself is not that much big. The problem is, when i look for it on ebay, i can't say wich are genuine and wich not. I've searched for all three of them and i see they are all around 30 bucks, wich is kinda cheap if you ask me(or is it not? The original 3000mAh is around 15 where i live). And the second Q i have is, are they generally safe? Can they ruin my phone or explode or something? Because i really love,LOVE my g3 and i'm really really scared of screwing it up, and i'm really not able to affort a new phone in some time. I need help guys, every link/word is helpful. Thanks
better u search on amazon sir for genuine one. my suggestion is get zerolemon 9000mah
u wont regret it for sure.
as price yes they are cheap for u sir, because almost of them are made in china(asia).
for asian its not cheap sir, jajaja
i am using 6000mah for 6 month already, its safe for sure sir.
my battery is cheapest one i guest, only 15$ in amazon.
i can get 7-8 hours soc, and charging one time in 2 days.
mugen is better than hyperion i think sir, but u have to try zerolemon for best experience.
sorry for my english sir, i am just noob asian
Hi,
I have an One M9 which needs a new battery. Does anyone have a suggestion what to get? All I could find (here in Germany) was a battery from PolarCell, which did not get good customer reviews, or doubtful "original" batteries.
Any brand would do it. I'll have to check if they are available here anyways.
Thx
I just opted to buy from one from the ebay sellers that sell used ones....probably from service centres getting rid of them in bulk. The first one I got was not great, only holding around 2200mah according to accubattery. I complained and had another one sent which was much better, accubattery reading a stored charge of around 2700mah. So yeah, in the end I got a decent battery for around £4.50. (+ a spare 2200mah battery).

I just filtered by cheapest first and then chose one of the sellers that had sold loads of them....It was probably the cheapest there though. It's a lottery with buying the used ones.
Is teracell battery good enough ?
Polarcell batterys have always been my favourite battery of choice to go for!
German made (Those bastards make good products) and slightly larger capacity!
I am a new user here so i am unable to provide a link to you guys! Though a quick ebay search will provide you with what you need
