Voice to answer calls - Touch HD Themes and Apps

I know this may be a stupid question, but is it possible to get the pre-installed voice software to answers calls by voice command?
Are there any software programs that will do it?
I'm guessing you'd need the software running all the time.
It's for in-car call answering.
Thanks
James

Yes, I can confirm build 19209 does NOT announce incoming calls. Has anyone tried a diff build that works?
Hi, did you check the relevant boxes (i.e. "phone" in the voice command settings to voice enable them?
On another note, does version 1.621725 support voice dialing and voice activation of apps? Somehow I'm not able to map a button to activate voice command's listening function. Any ideas?

yes and yes.
settings->buttons Button 1 (Hold) -> Voice Command.
has anyone ever tried 1.6.21728 or 1.6.21812?
With my TyTn2, I remember certain ROMs would not work with certain builds of VC. So maybe we can list here the TP2 ROMs and VC builds that we've tried and failed so others can pick up until finally someone gets a combination that's 100% working.
I'll start:
ROM: 1.19.707.2 (51489) WWE, VC 1.6.19209 = no incoming call announcement
I'll continue
ROM 1.19.401.0
MSVC 1.6.19209
I installed a newer version of Voice Command (1.6.21725) and did this little reg change:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3735744&postcount=14
I think it should work with 1.6.19209
Now I have incoming call anouncement (quite loud). BUT the ringer is very soft and the announcement stops after 3 times WITH the ringer very soft. So, you may miss a call.
Anyone knows how to shut off the incoming call announce DURING a call? It is very annoying if you have call waiting and talking to someone and someone else calls you. VC would announce the caller and you can't hear the person you're talking with.
Ok. Here is one for you all. I have gone in and checked everything that applies under msvc properly. My incoming calls are announced, as well as e-mails. It will not, however, announce sms!? Anyone else have this problem? I am running Valkyrie Firestorm 4.8.23506 ROM...also msvc 1.6.19214
Any help would be appreciated.
This is all due to the new Broadcom BT drivers in recent WM6.5 builds. They are much better drivers than the old ones. There is nothing you can do to fix this. MS will need to update VC for a resolution, but since they are planning on replacing it I wouldn't hold my breath.
This is really bugging me, I am used to having VC announce calls on my Diamond. Check out post 82 at this thread:

It seems as though the original Pro was having the same problem in the beginning. The fix kind of worked for me. This is the last thing I need to make my phone perfect
Hi,
So I compiled all the MS voice command fixes into a thread.
And out came the MS Voice command config app. The mortscript app will back up your current settings and allow you to update them.
If you want to test any of the features posted there that are not in the release version, let me know and i will send you an update to test.

Why No Rerouting of Microphone?

I've tested two Voice to SMS Apps (Text By Voice, and Voice Text). The latter uses Google Voice Search for speech recognition. When I have a hands free bluetooth kit in my car connected, both apps listen through the microphone in the phone, not the hands free mic.
Someone in another forum mentioned the BtMono App (not sure why) and in the description for the app it states "Please note - microphone routing is not possible on Samsung phones and may not be possible on GSM phones" ???
So it seems this is a firmware limitation of the S3?!? That's is very disappointing. With all the talk about being safe while driving, I can't believe an app can't be used to do voice to sms via the remote hands free mic. Even more bizarre is I've seen no one else mention this!? I can't believe I'm one of a few that has tried to achieve this?
...finally found a thread about this...

The watch does support "OK Google".
It has no speaker so you need the phone to hear and responses.

Voice command (offline)

I need an app to call my contacts while driving; google voice (online) is too slow and the offline version still doesn't exist in italian for the calling commands. I'm testing Cyberon but although I can hear it very well through the car's loudspeakers it doesn't understand my commands.
Any suggestion and/or what do you use for the same goal ?

voice call

Hello, I am new to the forum and I take the opportunity to introduce myself in addition to asking about a problem I have with calls with the car navigator. It is a dasaita px6 in which everything is going well but when I tell him to call by voice with ok google I get the name of the person but he does not call. I have tried several applications such as mtc dialer but it does not call, to see if you could help me with some type of application, thanks
Do You want to know about voice call api?
what i want to know is how to make it call "ok google" on my dasaita px6. When I tell someone to call, I get the name of the person I have told him or her on the dasaita screen, but he doesn't call. I would like to know if there is an app or room that solves this for me. Thank you
