white screen problem

I start with saying "Im so stupid"
I try to Expanding the Storage memory and I didn't notice I have dto down grade to WM2003
no I have a wite screen and a dead BA
I tryied to reinstall WM2003 but it got stack
upgrading to WM5 finished but now I have a white screen
does anyone have any suggestions?
please help

Dropped?
Did you drop your device? The white screen from startup to fully booted usually is a sign of the LCD not being atttached properly. Usually, the system starts normally in the backgound while you still have a white screen.
1. Attach your device via the active sync and see if you can connect to the device.
2. If you can connect to it, Read my post here.

Old school fix.

thans but I maneage to solve it
what happened is that I formated the ROM when using WM5
I downgrade it back to WM2003 and formated the ROM to the right size

during charging suddenly my XDA IIs suddenly become white screen, but I can connect with Antisync.
Please help, how to solve this problem step by step.

Have you tried Opening it ? There is a PDF link here in the forums which gives your detailed instructions on how to safely dissassemble your Device. Search the forum for it and Ye shall find.
It may be that you dropped it or something happened that your LCD is not functioning properly. Open it up and make sure that all the connections are tight.

I don't know if the problems are the same
but, can you go into bootleader mode? (power + record and SR)
what happen if you soft reset the device?
was the device dropped?
try to use the device for incoming calls? does it works?
best for now

Wrong password

Help please,I put a general password when not using phone to lock..and than my phone felt on the ground and battery separate from phone..When I put the battery back and turned on phone it wont accept my password with message that pass is wrong.
Please help I dont know what to do..and sorry for my bad english.

hard reset your device by Hold down the Power button (Top Right corner) and at the same time press the Stylus tip into the hole where it says “Reset” (Lower Left corner)

Nothing happened after hard reset..Please help,is there any universal password,because I think the phone restart pass

You can Restore the Registry and hope it works else make HardReset!!!

Please help stuck on Samsung logo

I have a s3 and I went to use chainfire and I clicked install and reboot and now it's stuck on the Samsung logo I really really don't wanna lose any photos or anything on my phone someone please help please ASAP need to fix this tonight thank you

What options did you choose before the reboot? hold home, power, and Volume up... where does it take you, and what does it say?

i was trying to install it and i clicked install and reoot and now its stuck on the samsung logo and i tried that and it just rebooted and stayed on the samsung logo untill my battery died and now im charging it liek the battery comes on it but when i try to turn it back on it stays on the samsung logo still

my phone isn't going into recovery or download mode its staying stuck on the samsung logo

are you sure you're doing the process right? hold until you see something on the screen and let go, usually like 2 seconds for download mode

Just about every root method, including videos, tells you to store all important files in a safe location, such as a pc, BEFORE beginning the root process as doing so may cause potential bootloops and such, forcing you to do a factory reset right then and there. Judging by the OP you really haven't done much reading have you? I suggest you start doing so. Reading, watching, and working through your own mistakes are the keys to success..

Need Help plz

hi frnds.. plz help me out.. i have htc desire hd.. i was trying to instal older version (1.32.405.3) of RUU on (3.13.468.2).. in the process an error apear n my phone was off.. now im not able to on my cell .. when i press power button nothing happend.. cant go fast boot or recovery mod .. after something cell htc screen appears it self.. n remain that screen..

Did your phone ship with Gingerbread? Has it been rooted?

yup it waz on official gb rom 2.3.5.. mistakenly i waz trying to instal older version or official rom.. updating process cell is turn off.. now it is turn on by pressing power button.. after sometime it turn on by it self and stuck on HTC logo on vibration .. it waz not rooted..

Does your phone vibrate for about 7 seconds and gets stuck on the white screen?? leave it for about 20-30 minutes and it will turn on. You seemed to messed the bootloader.

i dont think theres an easy way just follow the instructions. i think we are lucky enough to have that guide
learn to use cmd prompt on windows...search on google its not that hard n will make things alot more easier
as you were flashing a RUU i guess u know about adb if not theres a guide for that...search in xda

There is no easy way for that unfortunately. You messed your bootloader for flashing something you shouldn't have and being warned all around didn't stop your from doing it.
So, my piece of advice is that you take time to do some research and learn how to do it. There is no other way, unless you find someone willing to do it for you.
TIP: Make sure that your phone fully boots even if it takes 30 minutes to and you also are able to get to hboot. Otherwise the fix is useless.

hi its been a week now that i have not had a phone i have tried every thing i just cant get to grips with all the file changing and one thing and another so if theres any one out there that can take over my phone and get back running again i am willing to donate, thanks for now john

You need to outline exactly what you did, and exactly what is happening on your phone. Speak in complete sentences. People can only help you if you explain your situation clearly, because we're not in the room with you.

you are asking for help ? do it in the Q&A section, its made for a reason
and as been said above, you got responded there so keep it there. not reading those helpful hints there yet making a new thread in the wrong section is not correct !

hi sorry for not explaining myself, i down loaded the htc m8 tool box i was not sure what i was doing i was trying too root the phone i managed to unlock the phone , i still have s-on i can get into fastboot usb, and thats it, i cant get into twrp.if press to go into recovery it goes as far as the white screen htc in green and thats it, it dont do nothing else unless i do start button and up volume if i go volume down it don't do nothing, that's about all i can tell u john

You need to install TWRP, before you can boot into TWRP.

If pressing vol down during a reboot doesn't get you to bootloader, you did it wrong. You either started pressing vol down to late, or let go too early (don't let go until the bootloader screen appears). Just try again, until it works.
