Hello
My device is bricked on bootloader, and I've tried all the ROM that can be me shipped ROM and not worked.
Then I read in a post in this forum that could be a damaged CID sector. And it could be restored....if I have a backup, I don't have it.
Also the post says that it can be re-calculated from IMEI, but my ebay vendor removed the IMEI stick, then I haven't.
I have the posibility of Use an CID obtained from another device, but if it depends of IMEI, can be a problem with mine??
Know anybody a solution for this?? thank you!!

Hi,
Nice idea by planeta : USPL working through bootloader
Would fix every bricked phone, but not possible says the creator POF.
So short : bricked CID locked phones only re-flashable with original rom!
I saw for the wizard there is a CID unlock tool (see Wizard forum) and for some devices even 'unbrick tools'. A pity that we cannot do anything more with our bricked CID locked P3300, but waiting for the P3300 original dutch rom.
I wonder if you can unlock phone with imei check when your phone is allready bricked? If any other 'unbrick' solutions, please let me know, but i don't hope for it anymore
Cheers,
Innovator

I think that is the solution for some bricked phones after updates with locked CID.
Sorry but not possible, it first transfers patched SPL through activesync and places it on phone memory, and needs WinCE for that. If you already have a brick that tool will not help you. POF.

If you tell the firmware version which you flashed, it is easy to tell the way to stock. s-off is not a problem, if you can spend 25$. if your expectation is only go to a updated stock, it is not necessary to s-off. If your bootloader is not unlocked, twrp can't be installed. If your firmware is up to date, it is okay to make bootloader unlocked.

What you are asking for sounds kinda sketchy. If someone were to backup and share their mmcblk0 partition with you, you would have everything written to their internal storage in there.
I might be wrong with this, but I don't think I am.

Ikr but I'm not after the personal files. My M8 died and recognized as usb qdloader 9008. No fastboot, no recovery, black screen no signs of life. I need the dumped mmcblk and try to kickstart hboot via SD or linux so I can flash its RUU. And if it'll be a success I will post the procedure how i revived it that can serve as a reference for others who may encounter same problem.
if its with privacy issue then i dont mind a dump of a fresh factory reset phone.
I tried to install the RUU that is for the unlocked/developer but i relocked and while installing it wiped everything so now im stuck with the stock bootloader nothing else, which RUU do you think would work , here is my info the cid is VODAP110
The RUU you tried is specifically and only for the US Developer's Edition. Its a common (but really wrong) notion that it works on any unlocked M8.
I don't think your version has an RUU. Or I can't find it, anyway. You would be looking for RUU 6.12.166.4
If there is no RUU, you'll need to unlock the bootloader again, and restore the 6.12.166.4 stock TWRP backup from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/tutorial-how-to-stock-stock-twrp-t3086860
The file you need is in Post #3 of the thread. Instructions in Post #1.
Also, you need to delete your IMEI and serial number from your OP. These are personal data, which should never be posted online (and they are not useful for us to help you in any way).

Dood i fixed it , im so happy id suk ur deck, oh my god ,i hope for the best in your life
I said to delete the IMEI and serial number only, not the whole getvar output. The rest has some useful info. Somebody else may have some insight based on the other data there.

hi moataz
what's the steps you did to flash recovery, what's the recovery version ??
AFAIK we here in Egypt we don't have any carrier branded device so your device is WWE just as mine (( may be yours is not like mine but i'm just assuming ))
now you need to back to stock so some info is required so we can help
post the result of " fastboot getvar all " here after removing your serialno and imei
this info will identify your device and which RUU you need to back to stock

Fully agree. Need more more info on the specific steps attempted to return to stock, what files used (exact file names, version numbers), specific results after trying to restore the files(phone status), error messages, etc. plus getvar info.
Also, to the OP, please change the subject of the thread to one that describes the specific issue. "hello" (or similarly, "help", etc.) is not a useful thread title. Look at the other thread titles, and you'll get a good idea of the goal here. Having a proper thread title helps keep the forums organized. Plus, can help get more traffic to your thread, as folks that have had the same problem may see it and think "I know the answer to that, I can help".
I have TMobile locked HTC One M8 phone which had the Official Development ROM. While trying to upgrade a newer version of the ROM, the upgrade failed. Unfortunately the backup SD card got corrupted as well. Any was to recover the phone??
Post your getvar all please and remove imei and serial no.
What exactly did you try to flash?
