White Label ROMs

Hi - I have both a Universal and a Wizard. For a while now, on my Wizard I've been using a ROM made up of 'best bits' of all the available releases, with all carrier customisations removed - this is released under the name 'Mr. Clean' rom. It's bugless and lightweight. Perfect!
Does anyone release a similar rom for the Universal? Or does anyone prepare one for their own use who might consider sharing? It really would be great to see.

We should do this.
A "Clean" ROM with a CAB set to choose from for each provider.
I would appreciate this greatly - since t-mobile remove some stuff from the blank setup.

A fast, lean and mean ROM would be awesome. I don't have the time or skills unfortunately.

Could someone upload the T-mobile version of Jwright's ROM to the XDA-Developers FTP site??

I just tried the thread I posted above and the link works fine. It must be your computer settings.
I am not sure which version is this though. I think he released QTEK, IMATE, and TMOBILE versions. Just use the Ma_Upgrade_No_ID_Tool.

The link I posted above is the link to the topic with the files you guys are looking for. It should be on the first post of that link, and it works fine on mine.

Yes it does but we're talking about the links to Jwrightmcps modified ROM's... These are missing from the FTP site????

I am now confused. This has been discussed before, someone took off those files from the fttp. Probably someone does not want to share or maybe it took a great chunk of memory storage. That is why "Xanadu" provided us with this alternate download site, but it is the same file, so it does not really matter if we can't find the original posted file by Jwright because someone was gracious enough to share.
I thought the topic was where is Jwright's Modified ROM? I provided a link on where to donload it. Question answered. What is still the confusion? Are you looking for a specific file for a specific device like Jwright promised? If so, he also left instructions on how to use the Ma_Upgrade_No ID file. So just extract the files necessary and rename them, then install.

Where can I find the official WWE 1.97.* ROMs?

I'm seeing people have released cooked ROMs based on 1.97.*, but I couldn't find any official 1.97.* ROMs neither on the forum nor on the wiki. Can somebody point me the related post or wiki page please, if there is any?

Go to HTC download
Klick the download link. On the HTC site. And see what the file name is. cOuse it might be posible they did not chenged the download link name.

The only ROM version I was able to download today from htc.com was a 1.93.* WWE, with the serial number of my device. Is there any other method for accessing official ROMs? I mean, without a serial number?

I think what he's trying to say is this,
Look at the download link for the 1.93 rom and just change the url, you might get luck. so change (for example) http://htc.com/193.rom to http://htc.com/1xx.com.

I understand the method you're offering but I think the way HTC call their ROM update files is making impossible to guess alternative versions. There are too many numbers to play with, just too many possibilities Also, the link created by HTC web site could simply be a symlink or a virtual folder created on the fly according to our serial numbers.

I would be interested also, to see if HTC have improved much since the 1.93 ROMS...

However, in looking at the file contents I can't see much differences than in the previous leaked ROM. The file name suggests a new Radio maybe?? "RUU_Vogue....3.78.78" versus "3.37.77" The attatched picture contrasts the leaked rom files with the "official" rom files. The last file "VOGUIMG.nbh" has a newer modified date of 11-07-08. What do you guys think? Initially I don't see where the file sizes changed so I don't think anything is different, but I'm not an expert.

verizons official channel
So pcd has a copy of the final release of the winmo 6.1 rom; what is verizon's official channel for distributing the rom? It seems to me that if there is an final release then I should just wait the week or so and get the update from verizon directly.
