99.9% of the ROMS here are for GSM phones. I would suggest you visit PPCGEEKS for CDMA ROMS.
Just try a few and see what suits you best.

software for artemis

good morning i bye before 2 days my new phone(artemis).
I want to change the original software with rom from here.
what is the best here ?? and if i make this i have gps ??
thanks
All the ROMs here are excelent, there isn't a best one, they just vary, so it's about whether you want a basic ROM, a packed full of applications ROM, a cutting edge ROM, a touchflo ROM, a cube ROM etc.
So what's best for someone else may not meet your needs.
Have a look at what's in them and consider it against your needs. Also yopu are free to try as many as you want.
Just don't forget to read up about USPL.
thank you my friend

Wm6 for TYTN!

Hello all. I'm a happy possesor of a htc tytn, and i want to install wm6 on it. please, tell me, which one is the most stable, fast, and nice? i want if someone can tell me, the best radio version, and wm6 clean and full version (with and without touchflo) to tell me. thank you all.
Hi, there isn't really one ROM that is better, nicer and faster. All have different attributes, so you should read a bit, compare, and possibly try a few before you go for your own choice.
The same goes for radios it depends on location as well as the type of use that you use the phone for I have 3 Hermes two with 1.50.00.00 and one with 1.54.00.10 and they bo0th are about the same but here is a thread about radio's
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358933 so follow the advice of all the seniors here and read, read and read some more an before you flash read again and use bookmarking to help locate useful info when bad stuff happens so good luck and happy flashing bro
i'm from romania. radio for RO . and what about wm6? which one you think that is good?
Try TNT.SE to start but you will have to try a few to find what suits your tast and needs, I have liked all the ones stated in my earlier post but there are so many good cooks for the hermes that is why I have three so I can enjoy all of them at once. It is not an easy decision if you only want to flash once but if you are like most of us her in the hermes house you will want to try them all over time but only you can be the judge of what works for you

RUU_Diamond hTC US 3G WWE 1.93.422.4 OS Only!!!

I've seen a few request for this but none was fulfilled, so here it is! The US 3G Diamond Stock Rom which was dump and rebuild from my Touch Diamond. This has been tested by me, and its works flawlessly! http://rapidshare.com/files/150409520/RUU_Diamond_hTC_US_3G_WWE_1.93.422.4_Only.rar.html I would like to give props to those who made the programs(Kaiser Kitchen with diamond mod and itsutils) that made this possible for me to do this! Also props to those on here who contributed tutorials on how to dump and rebuild roms! Xda Search and google help me to accomplish this.
Thanks for the OS, I really wanted the radio if it would be possible.

Well, I'll try to do some more research and see if I can dump it, but so far I was only able to acquire The stock spl and OS from the dump.
US vs Others
Im on ATT (obviously), and using a Diamond (HK I assume), with 07 radio and Dutty's ROM. Have you changed ROMS, if so was there any decline in the reception? What is the radio version, and do you feel like the US version makes a difference, cause the phone is supposed to have quad band? I have lost reception in a place where other phones have had single bar, not much difference, but ofcourse I want what will provide the best reception.
Im sure you already know (you created a dump so Im sure you know what you are doing) but after replacing Dutty's with the stock, the OS is soooooooooo slow.

I haven't changed roms, and I'm pretty satisfied with this build. Basically Ill be customizing this stock rom for my own personal use. People usually do say the stock roms are very slow compared to the cooked roms out there, but im satisfied with it. Yes I have noticed a bar or two decrease in signal(especially 3g) with the .08 radio in certain places, im sure its probably no different with the .07! I would guess that we wont see better quality reception on att til The Fuze is released. Then maybe we'll be able to grab that radio for our diamonds!

Is this ROM modified or stock? You say it was (rebuild) how?

It's not modified, it is the stock rom. When you dump rom files, you'll end up with the .raw files first. Then next you'll have to rebuild(convert to .nbh) with the tools provided here!
i'm guessing that i can't use this rom for US Sprint Touch diamond right?

Why do you need it, Dutty's rom didnt remove the WMP.
Dumb question... so even flashing the US stock rom to a European Diamond, wont make the european use the 3G?? Even if flashing the same radios and the roms?? I think i lost all hope of making my european Diamond work n US 3g

no, it won't work no matter how hard you tried, the chipset in the Euro version doesn't support the US 3G frequencies. It's not a software problem like the quad phone issue, it's the hardware that aren't supporting the US 3G on the Euro version.
Thanks for building the ROM from the RAW files. Someone posted the raw files a while back but I have been to lazy to rebuild it myself.

[Q] Best Radio For Signal Strength

Hey guys, apologise in advance for what a few may consider as a 'noob' question :|
But, I'm struggling to find a radio that offers good signal strength. I can't really phone someone without my voice breaking up. So could someone suggest a good radio to flash? Thanks in advance
There isn't such thing as a best radio.
You should flash different radios and see the results for yourself.
The result depends on the rom you are using (if you are using a custom rom, it's probably best to use the radio recommended by the developer) , also of course the location you are at. See the AdamG thread in development section for a full list of radios.
Hi,
I'm currently using 32.48.00.32U_5.10.05.30.zip
Not certain if there's a problem with it regarding voice breakup etc. I was on an later one then went to 10.05.30 as it made a big difference to me on battery burn.
I'd suggest trying ones until you're happy as ROM + Radio combinations might have different user experiences. As yjey say YMMV.
I'm assuming, of course this might not be true as you didn't provide any details, that you're rooted on a custom ROM.
More info might help people, more knowledgeable than me, to reply.

[Q] Which Radio to flash ?

hey guys i got a desire hd with CM 7.0.2 on it and i flashed it with Radio_12.48.60.23U_26.08.04.07_M3.
What im curious about is what u guys suggest for radio ?
I love this question. Nearly as much as I love "What ROM?".
I love it because it shows a dedication to following basic rules.
I love it because I love having to say the same thing over and over.
I love it because one thing this forum needs is ANOTHER thread titled "what radio / ROM". Just can't have too many.
The choice is YOURS and specific to YOUR phone, ROM and kernel. What radio works for one person will fail completely for another.
You just have to try them out.
There is a dedicated thread to radios in the development forum. Please have a look.
My choice is as per my sig but the default cm7 radio was good too.
Sent using witchcraft via XDA Developers App.

I dont agree with that cuz dont everybody got the same hardware ?
if its like that there should be a best kernel for the device.

Hardware specs might be the same, but there is never any peice of hardware that is identical.
I have taken the radio from the Revolution HD Thread, which is recommend for version 4 ß4

Doesn't matter if you agree or not, doesn't stop it from being true.
Besides, the hardware varies slightly especially the CPU for example. Some can handle faster clock speeds than others. Some can accept kernels that other's can't.
The Radio controls, amongst other things, the network reception 2g / 3g / Edge / HSDPA etc. and that will vary from one network provider to another. And as such, a radio that works well for T-Mobile in the UK might not work at all for Vodafone in the UK or T-Mobile in another country.
So no, it doesn't matter that the phones are the same when it comes to choosing the "right" radio.
To make matters worse, some radios have much much better reception but worse battery so AGAIN it's a PERSONAL choice.
Disagree all you like, those are the facts.
