i have a diamond that has a malfuction when i connect the usb.it is a hardware issue.
it is danish and i want to make it english....
is there anyway to copy (by bluetooth) something like a cab or a flash file on the internal storage and solve my problem(change the language or flash the rom)?

Well, maybe u can do it over BT, but don't know how.

my usb is dead so have only my internal storage to change the language or flash the ROM

hmmm... for flashing another rom via internal storage u need your usb to put the new flashfile on it... after then you can flash via internal bootloader/flasher
perhaps a hardreset brings your diamond (usb of it) to life...

But surely he could bluetooth the flash file to the internal storage and then flash it from there. I dont see why that wouldn't work, but it would take a long time to send it via bluetooth

YES, this is what i asked. i need the guide of that....
i did the hard reset but usb still does not work.it is hardware issue due to the wrong charger (used once by mistake).

First u need a rom in english , download one (are so manny)
Rename ..NBH file to DIAMIMG.nbh
Copy to Internal Storage (transfer via bluetoth)
Soft Reset + Hold volume down button + back button
Follow instructions on screen (press power)

How are you charging the phone??
Have you tried other USB ports?
Do other USB peripherals work on your PC?
i expect the problem is the same as a few of us have (me included). the USB board has been blown up, usually from putting on charge in the car and then starting the car, inducing a large current, resulting in the USB control board in the phone being blown. You can still charge off USB, but nothing else.
There is a way of flashing from the SD Card, its in the Wiki, but your phone MUST BE CID unlocked first!
Has anyone found a way of CID unlocking without USB sync?
I have this problem with my usb too! I've tried upgrading other to other roms via SD but get an invalid certificate message for anything other than the official o2 rom.
I guess what we need is a way to run the USPL from an SD card before then putting in a card with the new rom on it. Any ideas if this is possible anyone?
why not try using the 12 month warranty?

It is definitely possible. You just need to know how USPL is applied. I mean, start_uspl, what does it exactly do? It copies certain files, and then execute them on the Pocket PC.
The best solution is ask pof(developer of USPL) for manual step by step methods. You can then post it here for others too.

hello guys i'm a huge fan of all the work and help that i can get from this forum so i'm asking again for help.
After i flash my diamond with custom rom he develope a problem.
I use all the steps the mtty and everything but when i put anything in my memory storage it can't be played it can't be opened it won't do anything
If i try to play a file it says that the file is corrupted... if i try to instal something it says the instalation is unsucsessfull and soo on...
So can you help me to fix my memory storage... I flash it clear it but nothing works...

try to change rom or hard-spl...maybe is rom related
if nothing works i think you have to format your internal memory to do this soft reset then press volume down and the central button of the d-pad and press down..
i use several roms after the problem i will try to use different hard spl

maybe...if changing it doesn't help i think you have bricked your phone...and there is only a solution...bring it back to htc
what do you mean to put the original rom from htc...
or to send the diamond up to service...
I can't understand that: when i put something in the memory storage won't do anything but when i cut it into the main memory it's ok..????!!!!

1. Solution :
- On smartphone: press volume down and reset simultaneously to get the boot mode. Once you made that follows the instructions on the screen.
2. Solution :
- Possibly you do not succeed the first step to obtain a version of HardSPL Diamond, copy the file there. ROMUpdateUtility.exe nbh and running the phone connected to PC and a loader.

DjMaryuslive but that won't solve the problem... when i put it in boot mode i saw that i were with hardspl 1.93 and the i swich with stockSPLs_htchackerssign.zip in the ROMUpdateUtility.exe
and then i make hard reset but problem is still there... i don't know what to do... any more ideas

I have curently no rom instaled.
I m stuck in recovery and i can t conect my pc with my desire.
everything was working normal before, and i wanted to instal new rom , so i deleted the old one and now i can t conect to pc and instal new rom.
When i plug the cable while phone is of the red light comes it means that it is charging so the cable is working.
when i go to recovery red light stops and i can t conect with pc it was working before and now it is not.
Did i bricked my phone?
i know i m in wrong post and multiposting but i nead this fixed now.

I think you're asking this in the wrong place mate, either way, here goes my help lol.
If the cable is connected to the computer, you should have a recovery menu, on "Advanced" or "Mount" (not sure now) you have a "mount usb "option, that way you'll be able mount usb drive on your computer and move the new rom there. Next, you can flash it

i have try that it is not working
You have selected "mount usb" on that same menu? No drive showing up on Windows? Even hidden one? (you can check under control panel - administrative tools - computer management - disks and see if there's nothing there, sometimes they aren't mapped).
You can also try to use a usb card reader and read the sdcard elsewhere.
There's a way to do these kind of stuff, either way, your device is far from "bricked", you just have no rom.
Ext recovery (a different recovery from CWM) could help you in this scenario as well, but I don't have much experience with those as well.
Ask the question under "Q/A" on the same Desire thread, I'm sure someone will come up with a working resolution for you

4. Remove SDCARD
5. Plug SD to PC (adapters are cheap , and 90% new laptops have crd readers)
6. copy desired rom on SD
7. Boot recovery , vipe all , install room , reboot.

if u dont have anything valuable on SD , try reformat it from recovery and than mount it.
Or you could just go into Recovery -> Mounts -> Mount USB storage ?
use it wireless if u cant wait to buy adapter hah
and read the manual dont be lazy u have everything on the forums

i don t know whay but my pc sometimes recognise phone and sometimes don t , most of the time i can t conect pc with phone.

i made quiet a mistake, i cancelled all contents of my SD card under TWRP, wiped system and i'm now left with no rom on the phone nor on the SD card.How can i make my laptop see my sd card under TWRP in order to tranfer a rom and install it ?
seems when i press on Mount sd card nothing happens..

i solved this way
put every file i needed in usb stick, used usb on go cable and installed rom from usb stick

You really need to READ. Use a translator if you can't.

SDK stands for "software development kit. Do you need it? If you are developing, then yes (but then you probably would be reading this thread now would you... ). If you are not developing, then no, you do NOT need to install it. It is just a waste of space. The only files you need (to interface with your PC) that comes from the SDK are the fastboot and adb files, and they can be found here for Windows, Linux, and MacOS.

I'm not shure if you do it correctly.
After you download RAR, you need to UNRAR it on PC, and than copy DLOAD folder to SD CARD.
Than you need to unplug the phone from PC, and than you start with local update.
If this doesnt work, try to download firmware from different souce.

Sorry, i didnt write it down correctly,
for sure i did unrar and yes i just had the folder on sd yet..
i unplugged the phone before.
And i tried 4 Different sources, (android-hilfe)
The guys in the german forum can't help me anymore..
Actually i rooted my p6..and tried again, didnt work.

Problem solved...changed format of sd and swaped it back again...gotcha b118...
