Just curious on the old original Bell ROM (not Manilla 2D), when you went to the dialer pad and then pressed down on the left side of the D-pad you got call history and if you pressed the right side of the D-pad you got the speed dialer menu.
Under this new Manilla 2D dialer it seems to be gone, is there a way to map it to those buttons?
Both the speed dial and the call history is there, just not available as simple button pushes.
Right now those button pushes from the dialer pad dont do anything, how can we map them back to what they use to be like?

I am wondering if blank button on the phone dialer of my Magician can be remapped to something like the loudspeaker (instead of 'Hold' which appears after a call connects) so that when i make a call I can switch directly to loudspeaker at the touch of a button?

I think it's generally thought that enabling the loudspeaker is a hardware limitation, not software. I'm not sure if it is, my VJPhoneShortcuts will do it on WM5, and I just got bored and never tried to find out how to do it on the Magician. However, for remapping the blank button, Mamaich has made a contacts dialler or something similar that can be mapped onto that button. It's an amazing program. If you can't find it on the board, shout out.

I used to own a ppc2003 device (Imate Jam). One of the features I liked about it was when I clicked on the green (call button), I would get the phone keypad screen. Once I was in the phone keypad screen, if I used the four way pad (circular button with a central joystick) by clicking it upwards, it would display the recent call lists and if I clicked it downwards it would direct me to the speed dial screen.
I now own a WM5 device ( HP rw6828) which does not have this option.
Anyone have any registry tweaks or let me know how I can enable this option? Any help will be appreciated.

I was wanting to know if there was a way to make it to where when I press my send button, that the call history screen comes up instead of the last call I made.. is there anyway to do that?
Also, on the bottom of my tilt screen it shows on the left side Calendar button and on the right side Contacts button.. can I change those at all?
I want to change the one on the left to messages and the one on the right to call history or speed dial or something

I have problem with function of bottom jog pad buttons
it does not work and default link from settings - jog dial is windows/start menu/camera.lnk and parametar NULL
scrolling with jog pad up and down is very strange
i need to move fingers from bottom key up to the top key (4 buttons) to change volume for example or scroll.
but when i press botton button CAMERA does not show up.
top jog dial button works fine. it is set to BACK and parametar NULL and i need to press it twice.

Hi, anybody know how to make the contacts show up on the phone screen instead of the call history?
When I press the contacts softkey at the right bottom of the phone screen it doesn't do nothing.
Also, what is the function of the button left side of the Talk button on the phone screen?
Using a tilt2 on stock rom so no clue if you have the same setup.
When I hit contacts (bottom left for me) it works fine. The button to the left of talk for me is the call history. Asusmign they are reversed between the tilt2 and whichever version you are using, the Button on the right of talk (toggle with a head and a bunch of little heads around it) is the conference call button for me.
I have the Tilt 2. Does two softkey I mention on the phone screen doesn't work when I press it. It is only showing the phone pad and the call history.
