Hy,
i am interrested to modify the rom of my ipaq (hw6515) and had try all the steps given in the forum, but when i have my file(ipaqrom.img), i can't open it with er2003, it ask me for a password, but i don't have them!
Can somebody help me please ?

I have company software for my HTC3600 that checks for device name.
The one that is shown as TRIN100 for Trinity for my WM6 ROM.
Maybe you are familiar with the soft that can accept request for this info and give to a program fake name like ABCXYZ?
In other words can you advise something that will allow the attempt to run software designed PARTICULARY for another WM platform?

First check what have you got in Start->Settings->System->About. There is Device ID Tab.

I think only try to find "TRIN100" in nbh file with hex editor and change it in some else and then flash on a device, I only in nbh file found the string... no in registry, and in provxml files!!

yes
that is the straight way
two possible objections
1. if name TRIN100 is used for some low level functional device will not be useful at all )
2. reflashing of this may give nothing only because TRIN100 is hardware name (i am still guessing)
so, the last option is clear for hacked nbh file
but maybe someone has seen software that catches request for this info and substitutes it with any string for calling software?
There is new WM6.5 device lock with Miri WM6.5 ROM for HD (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493911). When lock, it show clock, slide to unlock, password protected.
Pls, who can give this new device lock in the cab file?

I think that lock is a part of wm 6.5.. just flash the rom and there you go..
Hey,
like I already mentioned in another post - when using the wm6.5 screenlock / s2u2, your phone freezes after unlocking it for some seconds until manila is available again. If someone has any Idea what may cause this or how to fix it, please post here!

Could anyone of You post xml file for WM 6.5 with standard home screen configuration or HTC today screen, without any additional plugins or could You tell me how to unpack it from cab ?
I understand that everything what is displayed on home screen is saved in xml file and when and at device startup home screen configuration is read from xml file ?
