Looking good
Bah... it's thicker! You know, thicker!
Diamond2...
Looking VERY good
Chatty, only about 1 or 2 mil to allow for bigger battery
OMG
I think the Diamond II is look BETTER than Diamond.
And the specs are alot better ofcourse...
Maybe going to spare for a Diamond II and sell my Diamond
Looks like HTC are going to provide a free upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 for the Diamond2 when it's released. Wonder if the original Diamond will get the same love
Also has micro sd card slot.

**** processor (or drivers, whatever) dont want it ! looks a decent phone tho! good size.
i stress the performance issue again
You wouldn't got such small size on Intel/Xscale platform.
Video. Looks a bit bulkier than the Diamond.
demo video of the TD2:
http://www.engadget.com/2009/02/16/first-hands-on-with-the-htc-touch-diamond2-with-video/
I bet it will still have this MAJOR bug!:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412065
one of the best things about this would have to be that its battery has a 1100 mAh capacity compared to the diamonds 900..
one worrying thing is the processor. its using the Qualcomm® MSM7200A™, 528 MHz chip
the diamond uses the Qualcomm® MSM7201A™ 528 MHz
so looks as if the TD2 is using an older processor chip???
More RAM, Camera 5 Mega Pixel, and battery is better, hope speaker would be better as well...
i dont see a d-pad do you need a stylus to press those call pickup, hangup and home buttons
Really great video here:
They've added alot of new stuff to TouchFlo3D! New calendar, sms, smoother picture viewer etc!

i remember when looking for a new phone that around jan this year the first details of the tp2 came out and from then on we got to see more videos etc of it from phone shows
can we expect the same in jan2010 for the TP3
for me if they make it slightly slimmer with the spec of HD2 then i think it would be perfect
no way should they tamper with the keyboard
heres hopeing jan 2010 brings us our first look at the tp3
how about touch pro 3 with a capacitive touchscreen that supports multi-touch?

I kind of doubt it. They still have a lot of money to make on the TP2. I guess the timing wouldn't be that different compared to where the TP1 was in its lifecycle, but that device seemed spent much sooner to me--it also sticks out a little in the product line as the TP2 probably is more of a tytn III than a TP2. I think we'll see the first leaks on a TP2 + snapdragon in late spring or summer. There might even be an inclination to delay it for a rollout with winmo7.
On the other hand, an HD2 Pro could be justifiable before then. I suspect the distinction doesn't make a difference to you, but a device with a 3.6" screen really is in a different category than a device with 4.3" screen. I'm not totally sure what that category would be exactly. Business for people looking for an OQO replacement? Multimedia for people looking for a better video player/gaming experience? Big-handed people?
HERE at the bottom of the page. But a keyboard and a tilt mech on the HD2 and I am in. Dont get to excited though when you look at the specks you'll know why
I can´t see this as an upgrade for our TP2
Ok, yes it has a slightly faster processor but with smaller screen! WQVGA...no way!
I don´t think we will see a real upgrade for Rhodium till 2011
So let´s enjoy Rhodium!!!

I think HTC was targeting the n97 mini with this one. Although I think the n97 mini has the same resolution as the n97.
Well looks like they launched a "new" Defy but with a front facing camera.
Still using Gingerbread...
Specs here.
Gonna buy Samsung next time for sure....
on photo there is much bezel, like defy mini, but screen size is 3.7
Qualcom instead of TI, probably weaker cpu and similar gpu
cpu: MSM7227A 1000 mhz (similar to defy mini, but higher clocked)
size: 115 × 58.5 × 11.95 mm (vs mb525 size: 107 × 59 × 13.4 mm )

I don't fancy that grill both in the front and in the back and i like the original one style better as it's simpler.
even if it was using the same chipset it's useless 'cause it's not using ics...
Motolux life proof would of been better.
Sent from my MB525 using XDA
Too bad, one of the greatest aspect of the 2 first defy is their ratio screen size / overall size...
Sent from my MB526 using XDA
Looks good IMO, although I wouldn't buy a new phone just because it has a front facing camera.
Looks dull to me, but has skype/videocall written all over it
defy+ v2.3.6 quarx cm9 ICS @1,2Ghz
:/ I don't really trust Moto anymore
Herpderp Defy.

In Romanian there's a saying that translated into English would be "same Mary with a different had" (aceeasi Marie cu alta palarie).
After another 3-4 reincarnations this phone will eventually end up being a low-end one. Why would they spend resources on "new" models instead of giving the Defy+ ICS?
Does anyone understand Motorola's strategy? I DON'T!

windows 8 can have needing this hardware, so maybe we'll se something with win8?
Now that's a tab I'd carry around. :good:
This is NOT a rumor (change the title), it is JUST a concept. People come up with imaginary concept designs and specs all the time. This is just one of them. Go to their Facebook page and you’ll see plenty of such designs for phones and tablets.
It's a concept and not some leaked rumour. Apart from that, this is the HOX section so please use the proper forum next time.

TWRP 3.0.2 by Jemmini attached.
Hands on impressions
It is a nice phone as far as build quality is concerned. and there it ends.
CPU MT6737.
But a small battery of 2300mAh =1750mAh makes it difficult to use with ease.
Even with energy efficient MT6737CPU. it is weak performance of the battery.
CPU is clocked at 1.25MHz so it drains the battery.
Not very nice photos from the rear camera GC8024 sensor, 8MP. Photos with quit natural colors but a lot of noise and not sharp.
Generally nice with metal frame.
A bit greyish display typical for 60USD range.
Performance
The quad-core processor MediaTek MT6737 clocked at 1.3 GHz, has a Mali-T720 GPU and is at 1GB RAM associated. The 64-bit processor would should in any event on paper be better than MT6580. In practice it is the opposite. The framework is not running truly fluid, longer holding up times one should regularly acknowledge and when different applications running out of sight, the ZOPO Color F2 is truly moderate. Zopo Hero 2 / Color F2 is in this way appropriate for close to standard errands.
The touch screen is not accurate enough for high-speed recorder, the camera normal shooting unsuitable and the GPS a total failure.

With only 1Gb ram is really a crap device..
i understand the price range, but honestly 2Gb ram and decent battery are the minumim requirements to have a good chance to sell some units..

I agree as far as the battery is concerned. If 1GB was the only bad point than most devices like new Oukitel units and others in economy range 50-70 USD we should call crap.
But they sell some units anyway.
The battery and camera are the worst features in ZOPO Hero2 or F2 IMHO

I wouldn't go so far as to say it isn't of much use, since as it comes it's a really great phone for the money. However, I will agree this thing needs rooting and custom ROMs. While they have done some neat things in the stock ROM, I'd prefer speed and battery life (although neither are bad as-is) increases by doing something like porting the OnePlus 5T's Oxygen OS. The option of "stock Android" doesn't really get there - but a great idea.
I agree with you that this smartphone is elegant. Its screen looks great, the speakers very correct and ROM so well optimized. The camera looks more than adequate especially for the price of the phone, the only brake I can have is on the storage space of 32GB which may be sufficient for some but that may prevent me to fully use full HD and 4K videos. I will finally congratulate smartisan for this design worked and for the difference of others, its design and its rich features really caught my eye.
