What I did:
- Patch HTCHome to fix the Brightness Shortcut
- Patch HTCHome to move the graphics to \HTCHome instead of \Windows
Installation:
- Uninstall previous version
- Copy the Cab to your device and run. Then Softreset.
Important Note:
- If not working properly, Try to install sdkcerts.cab.
- If still not working properly, Try to Install cert_SPCS.cab
- If you still cannot get it to work, READ first HTCHome v1.5 Thread,
- READ HTCHome v2.0.720719. Use "Search" To find the thread
- This is BW version. If you want a colored version, make one yourself or wait I am sure someone will make one shortly.
- This is 0409 English version.
I am sorry that I cannot provide any support for this anymore. I create this for my own use. Tested on my Dopod 838Pro running Dopod WM6 Official with the two certificates installed on my PPC.

How do I change the clock from 24 hr to 12 hr with am/pm? I am using emunutz customizer but I see no option to change it nor is it in the clock settings. The clock on the title bar IS 12hr but the large clock is not.

cool, now where would we get a black theme to make it look just like that we see in the htc rom? also does it work with a green theme? that one looked cool too.

Anyone else have issues with this release and the Kaiser 10 button Comm manager? With the original 1.5 release, when a data connection was activated, the data connection in Comm manager wouldn't show activated (greyed out). I would have to touch it to activate the data connection( even though I was already connected) and then touch it again to deactivate. After installing the v2.0.720.719 the comm manager data connection magically started working. I just installed the 2.0.814.722 from this thread and it is back to operating like the original release. Is there any way to fix this so it shows a data connection is activated in comm manager when I am connected to Edge( 3g not in my area yet) so that I can just tap it to shut down?

flashed the ROM as I was intrigued. The colour is growing on me. I have noticed that the shortcuts are still appearing from HTC album landscape and portrait, and there is aOffice Mobile folder with the office shortcuts. None of the shortcuts actually have icons and they don't actually link.

The new version 1.01: Really removed the Folders, Links....
Also removed the anoying "beep" when increasing the volume during a call.

I solved the problem in first post, by mistake i forgot about dll file nescesary to start exe! Sorry for incovenience! Please tell me your impresion about this rom,i work very hard to finishing! In my opinion work very fast and no blocked in run!

It's GREEN? That's strange, the pictures above show purple.
But, yes, you can install new themes to change the colors.

The default themes of this rom is purple ,but can be change in green,blue or guava bubbles!
For another color just install new themes with favorite color
tested for 24 hours, rom quite good and fast!
i use red theme instead and i like the original HTC HOME icon.
I stopped the Large start menu.
Ram goes around 25 -27mb . Great !!
Bugs:
1. And i don't know is that a little bug on dial screen (see the little square on the top right coner.)
2. Missing links on cube. It would be fine if you can help us to link them.

thanks... got the download and installed on my D810
but got some problem with SMS
I go to Inbox... saw the messages .... click on the message but no response... it cannot open the message to read at all.
One more gripe is ... font is too small... add strain to my eyes!
anyway to change the screen font to bigger size?
I still find it quite slow... it takes about 2~3 sec after I click on the icons to activate... quite laggy
Overall the UI is quite good though

I have the same issue. It seems the SMS messages are stored into conversations and when I tap on a conversation, the displa seems to do something as the close cross in the top right changes to an 'OK', so it appears that the phone is opening something but not displaying it.
Apart from that, of the ROM's I have tried over the last few days, this appears to be the best so far for my SPV M700.

When I press the camera shutter button (by the side of the device)... it now goes to straight to Album folder
Previously by pressing the shutter button, it will activate the camera
Another thing that bug me... after sending out SMS, a notification msg will comes in ... after I've read and close the SMS program... the blinking light is still orange color.... but there are no new msg or missed call at all....

Thanks Ammar looks great, I changed it a bit to have the Right soft key kept for programs and assigned the iGO8 to the GPS button, and "the rest button" is to "\Program Files\psShutXP\psShutXP.exe"as not all devices have the psShutXP installed by default.

Hey taiseer,
glad you like it, by the way my action screen will install psShutXp including matching skin on your HD and link the shutdown button to it without any modification so no need to install it again.
Note: tested on device memory installation. not sure if links will be broken if installed on memory card.
please share your findings.

Opps....! Sorry I though everybody know it by now! My mistake.
It is a shortcut launcher which will change the right softkey on Home screen from “Programs” to “Action” and when you hit it will open a screen like the attached photo in the first post to give you fast access to the displayed shortcut icons.

Here the translations needed:
Appointment = Termin
Task = Aufgabe
Note = Notiz
Contact = Kontakt
Camera = Fotokamera
Shutdown = Ausschalten
But instead of a Shutdown button, couldnt you reassign it to a softreset? Then the translation would be:
Softreset/Reboot = Neustart or Softreset

If the shutdown button is equal to power off, then the italian translation by bolevo is wrong, cause "Riavvio" is the translation of "softreset". You should change it to "Spegnimento"

I developed an application like Slide2Shutdown, but without the .Net framework. It can turn off, restart or set the phone in sleep mode.
It is very fast to start !
All resolution are supported (for QVGA, the pictures are resized) and lanscape is as smooth as portrait (thank's to the new version of Manila SDK) !
The graphics are all stored in the \resources\VGA\ folder and you can change them at will.
You will find the available languages in the \resources\lang\ folder, but you can create your own file (add any files in this folder). To enable your chosen language, use the configuration tool and select your language file!
With the configuration tool, you can also modify the words directly by clicking!
Don't hesitate to post here your language file! Updated lang can be found here: http://charlie-soft.com/Software/Manila_SDK/V1.5/resources/lang/
Becareful: you have to save your file with Unicode encoding !

Yes:
You will find the available languages in the \resources\lang\ folder, but you can create your own file. To enable your chosen language, change the first line to say "1" instead of "0" (and delete other files or change the first line of other files)

my phone is Topaz Diamond2, Energy ROM, and has installed "HKB AWay key.cab"
before installed this, when press power button or use Slide2Shutdown Sleep button,
it can be waken up by press any key.
But after installed this, when i click sleep,
it cannot be wake up by press any key, the only way is press power button.
Does sliding the sleep bar actually make it sleep or just turn off the screen? because pressing any hardware keys wakes up the device instantly.

I change the run-time library support to Unicode (was MBCS -> use the Windows system locale charset)... I hope this solve your probs!

The phone was in POWER_STATE_IDLE state, which only turn the screen off... Now set to POWER_STATE_SUSPEND. Is it OK for non HTC phones ?

Thank you for a great program. I used Slide2Shutdown before, but it took too long too load. .Net on WM is slow especially on loads time. (And I hate this) I even started to write my own shutdown application using win32. I made a darkened transparent background, but then I gave up on this application because I wanted to implement transparent transitions everywhere and it was too hard.
Anyway QuickShutdown is indeed quick .
P.S. I think the font on sliders doesn't look great. Can you make it a little bigger. Thanks.
