You could use Windows Live! Mobile. Please read the Wiki and search the forums next time before asking such a repetitive question .
You can get it from here (it's in the .zip file)
Ive just installed it on my phone, it really is the dogs danglies, far better than that £10.99 pocket msn rubbish Microsoft sell.
I used mobile live to get hotmail BUT this causes the wake up problem for me even after I remove it. I now use a fresh rom with GETMAIL program. I use the getmail freeware on my home desktop and forward all hotmail recieved to a pop3 capable account which I can use the built in outlook to check. Until a new version of live comes out I do not recommend it.

although not searching for wmxl, I did search for hotmail with just abig misunderstanding on my part with the results. I guess sometimes mobile versions don't quite look the same as when rendered on the desktop. Once again thak you very much.
Hi, I've had my Touch HD for a couple of weeks now nearly and loving it and this is my first post on the forum so I hope it's in the right section.
I have a quick question regarding Windows Live Messenger / MSN on the phone. I notice when you sign into your account it will say "signing in as: username" is there any possible way to have more than one account registered so I can switch between them when signing in ? I have both personal and business accounts to use.
On a side note, I know that Fring / Palringo / Nimbuzz etc will allow multple IM accounts but I don't like any of their interfaces and don't really want to have another app installed just for one function if I can help it.
Are there any methods or cab files that will help me out ? Cheers.
So no-one has any ideas ? I can't find anything like this using the search. On a desktop pc you can run "Messenger Plus" from http://www.msgplus.net/ which will enable you to run 2 instances of MSN with differnet users. Is something like this possible on the Touch HD instead ?

I'm looking at 3rd party messengers as they won't link with Windows Live and save your details.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for - but this could be one of the solutions:
From your programs, Go to your Windows Live> Menu>Account Options>2. Switch Account
i use msn live messenger for one account and an old version(pocket msn) of msn messenger for the other one.. they both work fine..

1) a small annoying topic for me. Can somebody help me with switching off the service which is "matching friends" for me. I have no use for this, do not understand what it does and keep ignoring the requests for doing so. Is there a way to kill this process once and for all.
FYI
I am not using any contacts in google. I have my contacts synchronized with our exchange server through touchdown and !! once more !! through teh HTC exchange account. I have NOT been copying the contacts fro touchdown towards the phone as this process happened to have failures (it did not copy all pictures). The synchronizing process is working great, I have all my contacts where I want them, but I keep getting this annoying request.
2) Non related to this, but just out of pure interest. What is the easiest application allowing me to reply on (and keep track off) forum threads with a Desire HD if the traffic is limited. No time or realistic way to do this with Opera.

Sounds like you need a custom rom away from sense..Cyanogen is amazing with launcher pro..

Search XDA on the Android Market, they have their own Tapatalk app which works great with these forums.
Hey guys, just looking for a good site or app to stream mainly sport's but anything will be accepted.i tried the usual like wiziwig.com and first row sports but no luck. If anyone has any recommendations that would be greatly appreciated.

I use dolphin and didn't have any luck with it. It showed it as a blank picture like it was trying to use Java. I tried multiple links and Dame thing on all of them
It worked after I changed user agent to desktop.

i want to embedd a web browser inside an sms app for android. Shall i make a container of the sms app then add a sub container for the browser, or how to go about this? i need only a rough idea and key points please!!!

I think you need to use WebView which has many features like web browser.
Check android docs about it on this link & this link
You can also check this discussion on stackoverflow, I think it will be useful for you.
ok but webview is only for viewing the web and cannot access telephony to send the sms.
Actually what i wanted was to read data from a server and populate an android app and create a listview, then use the list of items and make them clickable for the sms event which i think could only be done by native android programe or i could use phonegap and jquery mobile. but ty anywayz
My next question would be about improving the media players for android.
