i'm a regular visitor to these pages, mostly in the XV6800 forums.
A friend recently got the HTC Touch pro (the upgrade to the diamond) yet I cannot find a forum for it here yet.
I'm wondering if there is a stock ROM in the Spanish language that is compatible with the Touch Pro that I can use. THis is for a friend who can speak English, but cannot read it very good and would prefer to load his phone with a Spanish language ROM.
I found some stock ROMS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=413910 spanish being one of the options. Is it compatible or do I need a Touch Pro specific ROM?
This person has no interest in custom ROMs and mods. Therefore the more stock I keep his phone the better.
You cant flash Diamond rom to Pro and vise versa, that can brick your phone.

No you may not. It just won't work. You are stuck with what you got. There are thousands of posts on the forum, but they are all about different topics like:
How can I dial the phone?
How can I focus my eyeballs on text and then put the word meanings into my brain? (this is also in the 'reading' section of the board).

I have searched everywhere for ROMs for the T5353++ but
find none.
I would prefer of course the latest Windows version.
Wrested I'm not picky, I need some working ROM that too.
Currently I have a ROM for the T5353 without "++". With this ROM the WLAN and the Cammaras does not work.
Can you help me? plz!

I'm urooting my HTC Desire since i'm selling it and buying the new HTC Sensation . I wonder in Norwegian language is lovated on these original roms I can download from xdadevelopers site? The new owner doesn't want a rooted phone.
search for morelocale2 app in market. u can check it there if it supports norwegian language. it also works on stock roms

i currently have swedish language only, and i would like to change to english but i am not sure which rom can i install?

You need Hard SPL first. Then you can flash any ROM in the world that is made for the GSM Rhodium.

i successfully flashed my touch pro2 and it's working great - apart from the minor keyboard issues.
i know i need to hard SPL first, although i don't know exactly why. all i wanted to know what are the chances that i screw up my phone by installing wrong rom.
anyway, this is a great forum and i am happy to be here.

You are on the right track. The only thing you need to keep in mind is that you can only install GSM ROMs on your device. If you try to install a CDMA ROM, you run the risk of bricking it. Just don't wander into the CDMA forum, and you'll be just fine.

yes i realize that there is a difference between GSM and CDMA devices. i saw all the warnings in the rom flash tutorials
by the way, i have one more question about adobe flash.
i know that microsoft no longer supports wm6.5 and neither does adobe...
on adobe's official page the latest flash is 7.0.
is there anyone at all that is trying to develop flash 10 for wm6.5?
i think that would be awesome, so any links on this topic are more than welcome.
i would be happy to try to help develop flash 10 although my programing skills are pretty basic...
p.s. the forum looks nice on touch pro2, but it could be a bit wider.

Sorry to disappoint, but you kind of answered your own question there. MS and Adobe both dropped support for flash on WM. The only way to get flash 10 on your Rhodium is to use Android.
I Buyed that phone a week before with the last original t-mobile rom 6.5 with touchflo 3d from Oktober 2009 but i would like to install a new rom
is there some more actual official?
is it possible to flash htc touch pro2 rom´s like the energy when i hardspl the vario 5 or does i have to prepare something different?

I think the HardSPL should work with your device too, but i have a bad experience with HTC Touch pro and undo HardSPL (device become bricked after undo). So i suggest to flash official if you doesnt want to loose the warranty or flash HardSPL and dont go back (use custom ROM, i suggest Jackos S3 TF3d).
