Wher can i find the Swedish ROM 1.72 for QTEK 2020 ?

Hi QTEK 2020 users!
I have some problems with reconnection BT after have had it turned off, recon I have two alternatives:
1. Reinstalling ROM 1.66
2. Updating to ROM 1.72
Does anyone know if it will work with the version (English) launched previous in the forum? Or do I have to use a Swedish version? If so, does anyone know where to find one?

It is OK to upgrade to the Imate 1.72 rom, but i have to warn you.
It is not more stable than the 1.66.
The best way is to try out the Bluetooth tools.
Google for it, i bet you will find it easily.
Or search in these forums.

So what are the problems with 1.72, in what way is it more unstabile? But the update does work?

Ive had 2 hardresets on it, updated it a few months ago. And numerous softresets, with no special reason for it. Could perhaps be some of my programs interfering, but im not shure. Worked fine on 1.66.
Yeah, the update do work. But you have to make a few changes on the roms.
Se the other threads about 1.72 upgrade. Some people have had really difficult problems with the upgrade, making them unusable.

I upgraded my Qtek 2020 yesterday and it works perfect, I had 1.7x ROM before and some extended ROM from Telia and it was SIM locked.
Now I have a "real" Qtek 2020 without telia bootup screens and stuff like that.
I havent installed many 3rd party apps, just agile messenger and gprs monitor from spb. And of course another theme. I hope it will be stable in the future too.

What ROM did you use?

I used RUU172602WWE.exe but I think there was an misunderstanding from my side this is NOT a swedish ROM. I dont think there is any swedish rom out with swedish language in the menus.
But this update is with english menus but of course u can choose Swedish as a "locale".
I downloaded this ROM from an ftp that I found a link to in this forum but I dont remember which one, if u wanna download it u can PM me and I send u the link so u can download it directly from me.

Almost forgot if u have a ROM today with "predefined" settings for MMS and GPRS they will be lost with this upgrade. But it took me 5min to type in the settings, you can find the settings on qtek.nu for the swedish operators.

I have tried to perform Rom update from your link.... I get the File cannot be skipped. The file :"\Windows\IA_P_DspCID.dll" must be copied for the application to work correctly. Try copying again ?....

If not, any chance of uploading the others?
Sorry if this is a dumb question - i've not down any rom upgrades yet so I dont know what's in there - i'm just looking at the version numbers on mine and the ones posted here!

How can I reload the OS on Orange SPV M2000
I have erased all data with a ROM or Firmware upgrade and now need to reload it. Plrase advise

It looks like this is just the extended ROM, eg, the apps and customizations from Orange which are only installed when you hard reset your phone. This update only really applies to people who are Orange/M2000 users or people that can "cook" their own extended ROM.
If you need insturctions on how to install this, then search the forums for "Extended ROM Unlocking" or visit the recently updated ROM Kitchen via the links in http://wiki.xda-developers.com/.

Need Advice on Upgrading Plz help :)

Greetings! I am new here and I recently bought an xda exec here in china. Problem is, the exec was loaded with a chinese rom because it was intended for chinese users so i asked the seller to make it in english. It seemed they had a problem with changing the rom, Im not really sure coz i cant understand half of what theyre saying. After a long wait, I was given an exec with a dopod rom.
Now having a different rom from the supposed manufacturer's one, it seems my unit has a few errors, for example im frequently having a sddaemon (which i found out has something to do with the contacts list) and sddialer (which i think has something to do with voice dialing) errors. Another thing I have a problem with is, the boot screen, since it was loaded with a dopod rom, it says "dopod enjoy mobility" at the boot screen. I feel kinda uneasy with it, simply put, i dont like it.
Also, I think my problems would be solved by flashing a different rom, but im not sure what to use tho. Actually, I want to use a 'proper' o2 rom because i like to have the boot screen back to o2. Yet, it seems everyone is suggesting the JasJar rom, do you think i should use the JasJar rom? If so, How can i change the boot screen to the o2 one?
For anyone who can help, Advice on how to address my problems is very much appreciated. I tried searching the forums but i cant seem to get how the search function working. I humbly ask guidance and advice to my problems and a proper redirection is highly appreciated. thanks in advance!

WM6 has a better looking than WM5, and most of the software are newer.
If you want stable, you can use WM5, most of the new ROM are all for the WM6, I am also a user in China, I am now using WM6 with a chinese language supporting package.

How unstable is wm6? Does wm6 have features or anything to offset the instability?
@XingYun: are you using an english rom with chinese text support or is your rom purely chinese? Im thinking of copying your setup, would you advise it?

Later builds of WM6 for Universal isn't really unstable. It's actually better. There's only one problem. NO VIDEO CALL.

Ok, ive decided to upgrade to wm6. Since I want to have an o2 boot screen, should i use the o2 rom from the jwright link? Will it be compatible with my unit even tho I am running a dopod rom? All I need to do is follow the directions from the wiki :

HELP!! Daimond cannot connect to network

Iv installed TLR Diamond ROM 1 and my fone had a Russian Rom on it when I bought it. Can anyone help me?? When I try contacting to vodafone..the wait cursor appears but nothing happens..

did you install anything else? If yes, then try a hard reset first.

Thanx for the rep mate but as a matter of fact i tried everything, u c i have have alot of devices and frequently ugrade most of them and have never bricked any of them..but the diamond just dosnt work for me. Tired installed signed and unsigned roms with the reqiured spl'z but...
Even when the roms are loaded the system is slow and non-responsive. It was fine when i bought it with the Russian rom on it..WHATS WRONG...Dont have a clue..

Thanx for the info guys.. oddball1~ i did try installing the newer roms that came out yesterday but no help there..I guess SecureGSM is write..just read the thread and I think its the region protection. According to that nothing simz to wok AND its work in progress..i guess i just have to wait or start tryn cookin my own roms..lol

Diamond finally Working
ok guys..iv installed the Russian rom back on the device and now the networks connected.As for before everything was working fine..touch flow n all only no network..but after the Russian rom..all gud...So according to my knowledge there is a lock with the network that only allows the Russian stock rom...if only there was a way to change the language...m able to change the language of the touch flow by changing the language code in the registry but not the whole rom..as i can remember some guy changed the laguage in the registy and installed a software which changed the roms language but it wasnt a diamond....hmm..more googling i guesss...Any help!!!

Choosing a HARD-SPL

I have a couple of questions which i aint getting an answer to when searching the forums. (google didnt work eather) .
first i'am a total noob in flashing roms tho i do have great knowledge about computers / programming etc...
My configuration is :
MDA compact IV (which is a DIAMOND200)
IT is also cid locked and simlocked by T-mobile
the ROM is 1.93.xxx.x
The SPL is a 1.93
radio is a 1.00.00.25 (or somthing like that cant remember )
What i want ?
What i want is a ROM which is fast and has the looks of the real htc touch diamond. And i also want it signed by olinex.
What iam searching for ?
Iam searching for a 1.93 signed HARDSPL. The problem is that i managed to find one which is unsigned but when iam in RUU it says Iam upgrading
FROM: 1.93.xxx.x <-- this is my rom not my spl right ?
TO: 1.00.DIAMOND <--- LIKE WTF ? shouldnt it be 1.93 ?
So first step is to get the right HARDSPL installed correctly :/ And iam also worried my MDA compact IV will have problems when installing the hardspl :S (because of the DIAMOND200 tag)
Would anyone so kind answer my questions.

No, and manners cost nothing either .
The signed Hard SPL isn't the best choice. It limits the number of ROMs you can use, becase OliNex arn't (AFAIK) keeping up to date with signing. Use the un-signed Hard SPL.
As for the RUU, just ignore it, it's only showing you the version on the NBH file - this contains 1 or more NB files which is what's actual flashed to your phone.
What the RUU tell's you is pretty much irelevant (other than error codes).
