FONT OF SMS

HOW TO MAKE FONT OF RECIEVE'S SMS MORE LARGER...???? I GET TROUBUBLE EVERY READS SMS COMING...!!

I also have trouble, do this.
HIGHLIGHT ALL THE TEXT, THEN COPY IT, THEN PASTE IT INTO MICROSOFT WORD, THEN CHANGE FONT SIZE UNDER "FORMAT".

1) click on start/settings/system/screen/text size
2) or download visual IT zoom

Thanx for ur sugestion..but I think thats way is not simple way..It is wasting time that everry read sms comming has to copy and paste to winword. Are there any sugestions...?

I'v tried ur suggestion but I did not get the menu text size in the screen menus. I think this related to my ROM..that is version 1.7.
Any way...where I can download visual IT ..?

You need to be running WM2003SE to get the font size option, this is not available on non SE versions.

TROUBLE WITH SMS FONT SIZE
Do wm2003se rom really has facility/menu to change the font size of sms comming..? The big problem of me is strugling with my eyes every recieve sms coz of too small font size. My eyes get sick..!. I have tried tweaks2ks software but the software just can enlarge the font of sms that still inbox. After tapped/opened the font go back to small again. Visual lT zoom can help..but not really...
I hope WM2003 SE can solve the problem...!!

Smaller text wm6 outlook and text messages?

Is there a way to make the text smaller in outlook and text messages in wm6? Its looks gigantic to me after using WM6 professional on a mda for so long. Thanks for any information....

Sorry boss, I looked and looked and couldn't figure it out. In e-mail, you can open the message and select options and view and change that size, but not on message preview and not for sms.

Thanks man..Thats what I thought...I was using a smartphone first and then I went to a pocket pc and now back to a smatphone. I got do used to the small text...By the way, do you have any idea how many times I tried to drag my finger across my dash's screen to copy and paste something...too many...

maybe you can play around with these files under \Windows folder:
read_sms.0409.htm and read_style.0409.css

only read_style.0409.css is relevant, but even that is not.
affecting the font sizes only reduces the text when reading messages, not when previewing
attached is the edited file, every font size mentioning has been reduced by 1pt

Thanks...I will try it when I get home. So you are saying this will only reduce the "reading messages" font right? Not the previews? Thanks either way...

correct. I will keep researching tough. go trough all .css contents of /Win folder

SMS Smiles

Can I insert smiles in sms???

On my phone, press the symbol key whilst composing a text message and you get a list of symbols you can choose from to insert. There are some smilies there Although they're not actual smilies, just the text representations of them - but many phones recognise them and replace them with a nice picture instead.
If you want to send actual pictures, use MMS or e-mail.

As poster said above this is all dependant on phone as not many phones recieve emotes as seen by the user so might aswell just do it the oldschool way.
If u search for oldsap's blog he altered SMS Smiles "not sure real name?" to work better on Dash.

Text entry

I've just moved from an iPhone to android and one of the biggest problems I have on the desire is text entry. When typing a text message or any text you can't go back and select a specific point in the text to edit. Instead you have to delete all the text and start again.
Is there any app that fixes this?

I've no hands-on experience on this matter since I'm still waiting for my device to arrive. But I think I've seen in videos that you can use the optical trackpad to move the cursor around when you're editing text.

The optical trackpad as said is how you move about if you put a wrong letter etc in and want to delete it.

cant you just put your finger on where you want to delete and delete it using the "<-" visual button?

System Text Size

hey everyone,
i need some help,
im new to windows phone mobile,
i currently have the tilt 2, 6.5, and i need some help.
i want to increase the system text size, i have a bad eye sight and the text messaging is really small, cant even read it with my glasses, so i rreframed from using it, i have to send emails, but the same thing, i did go to the settings>Screen>test size, and put it as big as possible, i can read that little quote but when i went back to reply to a txt to see if the size of my txt(the one im writing) to see if i could read it, i still couldnt. Even after changing text size in the sms messaging its self to largest, still didnt change the text that i was writing. Please help, these are important text and very important emails. i want to change the text f=size throughout the whole system! Please help!

It should be in the clear type setting not sure exactly where it is tho

You can change the text size within your SMS messages by sliding the zoom bar under the screen. Just slide it to the right and all texdt will increase in size.

ive done that part, but i cant see what im typing it still tiny! =(

Search for KDFont
U can change the police AND the size in windows and/or sense
Be aware that in some case, u'll have calendar problem due to too big size
