Hi everyone!
This is my first WM phone so and i have a question.
I cannot switch the albums (even change) on TF3D after adding to playlist. I must hear all album songs and after this the album automaticly changes.
Maybe its stupid but this is horrible for me.
Is this possible just simply tap a selected album cover on TF3D to play?
THX for help
Hi guys,
I really like the default music player because it shows you the album art on the lock screen. However, I can't find out how to enqueue a song or album to the now playing list. It always replaces all the songs currently playing and I don't want that.
I tried playing a playlist and then adding stuff to that playlist but that doesn't work either. Anyone got an idea how to do this or at least a music player replacement with the lock screen controls?
Thanks!
Oh, I forgot: On the Windows Mobile HTC Sense (Manila) Player this worked, so I'm thinking this feature must be accessible somehow.
Anyone?
You can hold down on a song and Add to Playlist, but you can't enqueue anything to add to what's currently playing.
To be frank, the HTC Music player is really poor.
So which player are you using? Does it have a lock screen?
I have the same problem on my HTC Magic since I updated it
Hi all, well i had a "problem" the thing its i downloaded all album art for my music (some already had the album) but anyways i use download all,, and works well was fine displaying the music on widget and Lockscreen, the problem was when i did a backup and then i went to other rom, and then restore my backup, all was ok BUT the album art arent showing anymore on Lockscreen and widget,if i "click" over the song i had the attached album art but i need to use:
update album art
and the revert album art (from htc music menu)
after doing this (removing the album) all its ok the album attached its working well.
so i dont want remove all my 500+songs album art so im wondering its any database or "cache" to remove? i already cleared htc music data =X

delete data from media storage under the tab "all apps".
reboot, open music player and wait some minutes, til the player rescans the album art.

Hi, I am having the same problem after moving to a new ROM, tried clearing all sort of folders, the update seem to run but does not sense the songs in my SD card. I tried looking for the "all apps" tab but can you tell me where exactly to locate this. I am on Elegancia Sense 4.1 v1.0.0 ROM
Thanks in advance.
Unlike SoundCloud, when opening a gif on twitter the stock music player will stop playing music. As well as this the music player controls will disappear from the notification pull down bar (SoundCloud doesn't do this either). Is anything I can do to stop these things from happening (like an Xposed module) or has anyone experiencing the same problem found a work around?
Thanks
How can I get album art for my music collection in mtcmusic? In poweramp I simply need to hold down on the song and it'll download/display options for album art. I like poweramp but really enjoy the way mtcmusic "integrates" with the home screen (shuts down radio to switch to music and vice versa, but won't if your using power-amp instead of mtcmusic)
thanks
DF
Tasker and a rooted HU can allow any music app to shut off the radio.

I really like Jack's Music Widget, lets you integrate just pure album art to a home screen.

Thank you very much for splending answer!
But my HU Joying (rooted MalayskROM) has same issue.
Do I need any customize after activated Xposed mtc?

I do not understand. Xposed is not used. The music widget may not work with mtcmusic.
I too would prefer to use the built in app if I could work our how to get the Album art to display. I have a 4GB stick full of various albums, they have all been ID3 tagged and have had album art applied through Windows Media player. You can check this by finding the file in its folder, when you click the track the album art should appear in the details pane on the right.
Plus I also dropped a JPEG of the album art into each album folder. Now when I play songs through the Native app some show album art and some don't, but I can't figure out the difference between the ones that do and ones that don't!

No!, I have no idea what's going on but I have noticed something else. EVERY album displays album art on the widget on the home screen.
To clarify, if I go into the music app and start playing an album that is not displaying album art. I hit the home button and it does display the art on the widget.
So now I'm even more confused!

@scatamonky, I use Mp3Tag to apply all my cover arts and my OEM player shows the covers always, give it a try make couple mp3's with cover art and see if it shows: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/
By jove Reptile I think you've cracked it. I downloaded the MP3 Tag editor and the albums that don't show album art in the player do not have anything showing up and the ones that do....do!
I was using Windows media Player and it was clearly telling me lies.
Thanks !!!
I am glad it helped show your problem :good:
Tested and Working! Using the MP3 Tag editor highlighted by Reptile I now have album art displaying for every album I have. Which is about 19GB worth so far.!!!!
For anyone else experiencing this issue, do not trust Windows Media Player to add your art. If I opened folders on my PC and clicked on a song it would show album art in the details pane on the right but still NOT show art in the car!
Using the MP3 Tag editor I was able to see that WMP only seems to associate art with a file as long as its on the same PC, as soon as you take that file away to another player the art is gone.
This was frying my noodle for a long time so I'm really happy to have it resolved at last!!!
