Anybody know how to change the stock server?
I trading on Vietnamese Stock Market and i dont know how to change the stock tip ( Yahoo server default).

I also trade at some other world's stock exchange...It will be very usefull if there is any solution to change stock server.
idea: All stock exchanges have their system of informing about prices with delay. It might be used for some kind of solution. Just other source of data, not yahoo.
I have been traying it but no way... any solution?

Does anyone have found any solution, yet? Does anyone knows if the address of the stock server is hardcoded in manila, or is it inside some of the manila files?

I have searched and searched and can't find the answer anywhere.
I am trying to figure out where signatures for email accounts other than exchange are stored. I know the exchange one is stored in:
HKLM\Software\HTC\Signature
however I have an IMAP account and I cannot seem to find it anywhere. As I have several email accounts on my phone, I want to have them in UC so I don't have to flash them each time.
Anyone have any suggestions?

For signature if you can not find it, use Resco Registry Editor or any other reg editor that lets you search and search for the phrase you are looking for.
If you go to the original UC thread there are instructions on how to setup a file for your emails. Also, once you find that you can use OEMizer to generate a file for you after you enter info in.

Thank you for the reply. I have searched through the registry and the only thing I can find is HKLM\Software\HTC\Signature. This setting only changes the exchange email account.
As for the original UC thread, I have went through it and read through the instructions on setting up UC and SDConfigt.txt and I now have my 5 accounts automatically installing correctly plus my exchange account.
Only prob, I am still stuck on the signatures for the 5 accounts that are not exchange.

Do you have a file named SignatureReplace.exe on your device?

Yes I do have SignatureReplace (.exe & .lnk) files in my \windows dir.
... not sure what to do with them though......
As At0mAng has left us.. would anyone else have any idea as to how or what signaturereplace does ?

Now that At0mAng is back online, I'm hoping he comes accross this thread again and offers his expertise.... or anyone else for that matter
I have been trying out a few email clients for Exchange recently but none all of them fail to impress for one reason or other. This is one of the most important things I need on my phone. Most of the ones in market-TOuchdown, Roadsync etc are too laggy. The one from Samsung is even worse.
Does anyone have the apk for stock Android email app? If anyone does please upload or send a link, I found for Eclair on some other forum.
If someone can get this for Froyo and upload, should be helpful since I know many people would like to try this out.

I recently changed from the stock sense email client to the android email client to take advantage of its push Hotmail feature (plus it has better features overall) but what i'm finding is that every few days i wake up and it has completely deleted my account settings. when i click on the app it takes me to the email/password set up a new account screen
Is anyone else seeing this and know how to fix it?

Phone: Stock Rogers 4.0.4 with Root.
I hate the Rogers modification to the browser. I'd like to replace it with a stock AOSP browser with Google Sync for my bookmarks. I'd even settle for changing the damn start page in the Rogers version of the browser, but you can't even do that easily.
And Exchange email client, WTH, no HTML? Just came back to stock from JB, and I forgot about this little tidbit. Any way to replace the stock Exchange with one that does HTML, and keeps the ability to use S Calendar?
Well, I feel silly. LoL Figured out how to change the homepage, certainly isn't intuitive....
I'd still like to change the email client though.
And with THIS thread, you can replace the browser, SMS client and Exchange Email (and other TW apps) with the decent AOSP packages.
I couldn't find said thread with the forum search tool, had to use Google to search the forum and it picked it right out. I hope this helps someone else.

Just purchased the tab pro 10.1. It's incredible. My only gripe, which is not a huge issue but enough to drive me crazy that I haven't yet discovered an easy "fix" for it, is that the stock email app--which I really like given that it mirrors the email app on my SG5--is at version 4.1. On my SG5, the email version is 4.4.2.0400. I'm puzzled as to why the tab pro, after all updates are done, hasn't updated to this newest version. Primarily, I want to be able to a) use the stock email app; b) swipe away emails rather than check a box to delete them.
My device is not rooted nor do I plan on rooting. I've done some digging around online but haven't found an easy way to remedy this. I assume I could just install the SG5 stock email app? But I haven't found the apk online, without the need to edit a bunch of other stuff that is beyond my expertise.
Would there be an easy fix for this? Perhaps just an apk of the SG5 email app I can install over top of this (no flashing, etc)?
