I want to have a button on Home page to change screen orientation when I want use my HD in landscape.
If somebody know if it's possible to make ...
Start => settings => buttons
You can assign <rotate screen> to Button 1 (Hold)
So if you press and hold the "launch call" button (on the left), your screen will make a rotation
edit : lol j'avais même pas vu que tu étais français^^
When I go to 'buttons' the list underneath 'select a button' is empty?
This may be related to me trying to install AE Plus buttons and it appearing to not install properly...
Any ideas how I get my buttons back in the list?

Thank's but I don't have rotation in the list.
Perhaps I'm obliged to make a shortcut before, but I don't know how?
Merci mais je n'ai pas rotation dans la liste, peut-être dois je d'abord faire un raccourcis dans programme mais je ne sais pas comment faire pour la rotation d'écran

If you install Advanced Configuration Tool and enable screen orientation settings then the option will appear, otherwise there is a Registry hack you can use, Info at PocketNow.

Yes, in addition, you can program AEButtons to the volume buttons too. I use AEB to program the volume up to Alt-Tab, and the volume down to screen rotate which is already built into the AEB menus.
AEB Plus is very flexible. I have the volume buttons:
1 Press on down = down arrow
2 press on down = volume down
long press down = resco note recorder auto record
1 press on up = up arrow
2 press on up = volume up
long press up = plamp (flashlight app)
double press on the OK/Back button = rotate screen 90 degrees (this rotate is set in the AEB plus options. you can have a single rotate or variations on 90, 270, etc degrees)
I have not touched phone green and red in AEB Plus as these are directly managable in the system. I have the long green press to camera and the long red is the standard.

ah oui là effectivement je ne vois pas trop pourquoi tu n'as pas cette option car je l'ai par défaut sur ma rom originale ???
Essaye AEB Plus
I don't understand why you didn't have this possibility because i've this on my stock rom by default ???
Try AEB Plus

Hi there,
Does anyone know if a hotkey can be assigned to change to landscape mode, i.e. to change without having to go through the Screen program under Settings.
It would be useful, for example whilst in the middle of the Internet Explorer in portrait mode, to flip it into landscape.
Thanks!
You can map a hardware button to <Rotate Screen> in Settings->Personal->Buttons
Thank you so much! Easy when you know how!

Oui : Merci, Merci, Merci : It's GREAT
ShortCut
Is there a way I can tap on an icon to toggle between portrait and landscape mode please?
I'm trying to type the italian vocabulary letters à è ì ò ù with the US Sprint TP2 hardware keyboard as an alternate typing of keys A E I O U.
This can be easily accomplished using the keys in connection with FN key by editing CH1 and CH2 value in the eT9.Rhodium.0409.kmap.txt file this way:
(before mod: )
// Row 3
{A A A A A 0x0a}
(after mod: )
// Row 3
{A A A À À 0x0a}
Unfortunately in US Sprint hardware keyboard only the A key is free to have an FN alternate meaning, while the keys E I O U have already a printed alternate value with € + = - charachters, so i wanted to use the "press and hold" function provided by VK2 value, editing .kmap file this way:
(before mod: )
{U U U + + 0x06}
(after mod: )
{U U Ù + + 0x06}
This way i expected that:
- pressing the U key to get u charachter
- pressing and holding the U key to get ù charachter
- pressing the U key along with FN to get + charachter
Instead the press and hold function don't work, i get only a repeating u charachter.
Anyone knows how to take advantage of the press and hold function in .kmap file (perhaps need enabling?)?
Thanx all.
try installing Rhodium Keyboard Controller, as it allows you to remap any key to do whatever you want (single press, long press, double-click, etc)
