qtec 9100

Hi guys,
I've just bought the qtec 9100/ htc wizard and new to the forum.
Can anybody point me in the right direction to where i can find the t-mobile rom for this? or the latest rom? Please note I require a UK rom.

Create a folder for your rom
1: Download
ftp://xda:[email protected]
developers.com/Wizard/Roms/Tmobile/RUU_Prodigy1060204_105_11210_TMO_UK_Ship.exe
2: Download NoID ROM Update Utility Wizard
http://buzzdev.net/component/option,com_remository/Itemid,100/func,fileinfo/id,244/
3:With Winrar decompress your rom in your foder
4: Copy ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe in this folder
Synchronise your pocket-pc with your PC
Click on the file "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe"
If you have an "error country 120" enjoy again...

I've updated the qtec to the t-mobile rom now, the keyboard is set incorrectly. for example when i use the '@' symbol the '!' symbol appears.
I've checked regional settings and its set to 'UK' Any ideas??
This is the second rom i've updated the qtec with and the same problem is appearing

question : How to Edit Rom version?

Hi everybody,
I've composed a self make ROM and tried to edit the OS.nb by HEX for the Rom version part but fail to bootup. I think there must be something checksum problem to disallow me to do it so. Am I need to use tools to edit the Version Name of the ROM?

From Black 2.5 Eng to Black 2.5 Ita

Hi all!
I have downloaded the official image file from microsoft of WM6 Ita..
I have dump this image..
I tried to dumb black 2.5 but imgfs when i launch it with imgfstodumb reported only errors, "Unknow header type"..
Why??
May anyone help me?

Have you splitted the ROM with -hermes option or with -emu option? Because the emulator rom will use the -emu option but Black 2.5 will use the -hermes option...

I have dump italian rom and black rom..
How i may proceed to make black rom in italian..?
Wich files i must substitute in black rom?
Is any guide or wike i may read to solve it?

nbh file

hello all
can anyone tell me how to extract the nbh file from official rom ? i want to upgrade to official 1.97 but i have the problem of "bad id". i have to take out the nbh file from that 1.97 rom and find another ruu.

How to get nordic i780 ROM? (solved)

Hi all! Is there any way to flash nordic ROM with samsung upgrader that you can download from http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/i780/index.jsp? I'm currently using DXIB1 and when I try to flash XBHK2 it says that I have wrong PDA version. I already played with HEX editor and managed to pass version check but after that XBHK2 get's stuck in the 3rd file. Any help with that? Of course if some of you have flashable PDA bin from nordic ROM then please share it with us!

Ok it's flashing now. I made some changes in HEX editor and it seems that all you have to do is to change i780XB to i780DX from the bottom of the file. Sorry for bothering you all.
