In contacts on the right, there is a shortcut image with the ABC and by touching it, it shows you the letter you touch in big size right in the middle of the screen, and when you release it - you have the name who's started with that letter.
How can I customize it? I want to change the ABC to Hebrew letters.
I know i'll need to make an Image with the Hebrew ABC... but where I can change the fonts thing?
Thanks!
Avi

Great ROM but I am having an issue with slide-out keyboard layout. The letters themselves all type correctly (both in small and CAPS) but when I use bottom left shift key to access punctuation some of the symbols are in the wrong place.
For Example:
Top row letters are:
QWERTYUIOP
Symbols listed on these keys are:
[email protected]/#123()
Symbols typed actually are:
[email protected]?/#123()
Thus the first 3 key symbols are incorrect in first row, there are 4 incorrect in the second and one in the third. Software keyboard works correctly.
Has anyone else had this problem?
OTHER QUICK UNRELATED QUESTION:
I really like the HTC Today Home Screen with the weather but my city is not listed on drop-down menu list. Is there a way to add a city not on list – on accuweather.com you can add city by zip.

the layout needs to be changed to USA.. load HTCustom 1.5 and change the layout to English or search on here for a 8525 WXML keyboard.cab
Thanx Jakeypoo
I am a bit of a newbee here. Can you give me more spicific instructions including where to find the correct cab file?
install, softreset, bam
No change?
At the risk of being stupid...this is what I did:
Extracted files to desktop
Moved them to a folder in my documents in the 8525 (8 total files)
clicked on setup file
I saw a list of characteristics run
softboot
bam...no change?
no... copy the .cab file to your phone and click on it thru file explorer on the phone and it will install..
Worked!
Thank you so much!
Wow
Says a lot for this site when someone is able to get a rom, and flash their phone without even knowing how to run a .cab file. I am impressed.
Second that one bro. Cab file? well ive never heard of such a thing.
lol for real
i couldnt ignore this one..

I recently switched to a newer 6.1 ROM from someone here (it rocks). My first question was how to turn off xt9 when I am typing? With my old windows 6.1 I set it to ABC so it just let me type... without trying to be smart.
For bonus points how would one go about using "Sliding Panel" as my home screen, but without the annoying "getting started" bar.. maybe replace it with a weather bar?
Oh to turn off xt9 start a new text message and press alt+space and then you should be able to select ABC mode... and it should save this mode.
Download xt9
ok, I don't think I'm getting 100% what you are saying. First of start with installing et9 on your device.
Here;

Then go to text messages and press (space+fn) change to abc. ready to go..
Getting started- you can remove it simply by going to it and choosing the add/remove getting started...
Here are weather apps, feel free to choose.

yay alt + space was it, keep forgetting.
So a weather app came with my rom.. but it only shows up under a few of the ugly home screen layouts. I want it to show up under "Sliding panel".. will the ones you linked?
Hi,
I would really appreciate end to end help with changing, or installing a font on my Desire HD so Greek fonts - particularly accented greek letters - display correctly. Right now, using a program such as Ankidroid, accented letters display as a square.
I have read all around the subject but there seems to be a whole lot of assumed knowledge which I'm unsure of.
Do I have to have my phone permrooted?
Can I temproot and install new fonts then go back to normal?
Do I need to instal sdk tools, etc?
There seems to be a great process involved in doing this one task but it's important for my study of language to have the font displaying correctly.
Can you help?
Regards,
Trent
Hello,
I can get regular fonts into zooper, however these other fonts i have downloaded i can't get to work because the keys aren't assigned like regular ttf fonts it seems. It comes with like css files and a bunch of other files where i think the icons in the font are assigned to different things, but i have no idea if this is even possible to get into zooper. The pictures i included are what is included with the font.

You need to open the index.html file to check which character is assigned to which key. If its a-z keys you just use those letters in zooper to display corresponding character. If there are codes instead (like &#e001; etc) you could make an iconset to display your characters OR if you have the font svg files (in your screenshot) you can upload them to an iconfont generator site like Icomoon and assign your own keys, at least that's how I do it.

Is there any way to change the language of the widgets themselves? There is support for other menu languages but no way (that I have found) to change the actual language of the widget... Example being month text is always in english. As a second question based off that... is there a way to have text go from top to bottom?
