I just upgraded to Manilla WM6.1.
Working UNBELIEVEBLY fast!
I installed the Ectaco Hebrew support (originally for WM5 I think) - no jamming, everything is cool, just the Hebrew is reverse...
Of course i registered, but it is still the same.
Isn't there somekind of configuration the Modirators here can change?
It has the font, the PDA recognize the language, all the programs are co-operating with it, just that this is revrese....?!?!
PLEASE can anyone do something???

Hi,
I installed the last BA 1.3 Tuma rom with success then I installed a MUI package following the procedure. After a soft reboot, WM5 start and asking me my PIN code.
If I type it of not, WM5 main page is partially displayed then the system is frozen. I tried french then Dutch language and both try give the same symptome.
WM5 work fine with the original language.
Does anybody knows if there is any solution to fix this issue?

Hi, mi dear modder friends, i wanted to know, how can i change the language in a HTC Excalibur, a friend of mine killed it, (i dont know how), and i was able to update the ROM to this one: 1.33.422.1 (Worldwide English, WM6), but the problem is, he doesn't know very much how to speak or read english, so i am asking to you all please to teach me how to change the lang to spanish? thx in advance

You would need to download the spanish version of the rom I believe.
So just let me get this straight because the new 6.1 rom has spanish as a t9 (texting) language however the whole phone is not in spanish. Try this okay...
To install eT9 keyboard mapping changer: 1) Download THIS. 2) Transfer all the cabs and the .css file to your \Windows folder via ActiveSync 3) Place the .lnk file in your 'My Documents' folder 4) Using 'File Explorer' (on your phone), click on "Excalibur eT9 Changer" and pick the layout. 5) Reboot your phone

Thanx 4 the detail, but the truth is, i rather stay with Windows Mobile 6.0, haven´t had any trouble with my Apaches WM6, though i cooked my own kitchen but had some errors hehe :´(, well the thing is, i wanted to know if someone has any ROM or if they can make a ROM which includes spanish as a language (as in REGIONAL SETTINGS/LANGUAGE), as i said b4, my friend doesnt mangage to speak or read english that much as i can :-S Thanx in advance, if it wasn´t by all you modders we wouldn´t have the pleasure to upgrade
I have a HP iPAQ data messenger with a German WM 6.1 Pro OS ROM, it also has a German keyboard on it and I want to switch it to English, However the WWE rom that HP have is not supported on the German version of the Data Messenger. Has anyone managed to crack the HP checking software that prevents the WWE rom from installing? or has anyone got a WM6.5 WWE rom with the German keyboard driver that will flash onto this device?
I have never come across a phone that is not language selectable before even my German iPaq 514 was language selectable. HP PSG told me it was a licencing issue but this seems like an excuse to me or is the German hardware really different from the Emglish hardware and the ROM really is not compatable?

Hi all,
Got a ipaq 612c with english rom a few weeks ago. Needed french xt9 input ; Hp support if of absolutely no help.
Just managed to extract the xt9 files from an incomplete french rom, and installed them on the english rom, with a small registry adjustment. Works beautifully. Works on wm 6 and 6.1. Not tested for 6.5.
I've seen many post from users struggling to find french xt9.
So, if anyone is interested in the files, I'll send them with instruction for registry.

i dont think wm6.0 ever existed for diamond. diamond is native wm6.1 device.
besides wm6.0 is slower than wm6.1... why r u looking for it?

might wanna try this
all menu items in wm devices depend on mui files... you can always copy all the mui from hungarian device and rename them to 0409 at the end... this is quick and dirty way and will not work on display/menu items. no official hungarian rom from htc? as for language in typing msg and stuff, you can try different keyboards, im personally currently using experia x2 keyboard now with many languages available... might wanna try finger keyboard 2.1 too... which has hungarian support.
