During regular use, didn't drop it or did a bad flash, my M650 stopped working (black screen).
At this moment I can turn the M650 on but it stops during the startup and keeps displaying the Orange startup screen. Nice logo, but it get's annoing because I cannot use my dear M650 anymore.
What did I do to solve the problem ?
* soft reset => didn't solve the problem
* hard reset => didn't solve the problem
* remove battery , sd and simcard for long period of time (couple of days!) => didn't solve the problem
Does anybody know how I could solve this problem ???
My only idea was to flash my M650 to see if a corrupt bios is the problem. Unfortunately my M650 is not a CID-unlocked device , so I would need a original WM5 DUTCH rom to be able to flash my M650. Ofcourse this original rom is not avaiable for download anywhere

Hi all, after upgrading from my Orange ROM to the UNI_Qtek_WWE_11364_151_10300_Ship ROM, my M5000 Universal shows only a blank screen and USB v1.00. I tried to hard-reset with and without pressing the on/off button at the same time. Hope somebody can help me. Thanks!!

Hi! I have recently flashed my hp ipaq hx2410 to wm2005, the update process went fine but the device doesn't boot anymore. It shows the loading bar and it gets stuck when it fills up. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists. I can't flash it because active sync doesn't "see" it anymore... just a local area connection X - limited or no conectivity. What can I do ? Is there a way to boot the device in some sort of flash mode or something? Thank you very much
I had to do hard reset about 3 times when upgrading my hx2490B.

I have done a lot of hard resets but the device still gets stuck.
Another thing... I did not hard reset the device before de WM05 rom update. I thought it should do that by itself.
And second... If I get it to work I want to flash it to WM06. I have the rom but are there some special steps to be followed for this update ?
My pda still gets stuck in the bootloader and then the backlight turns off. Should I leave it that way untill the battery is completely flat ?
Some people say that removing the battery for 24 hours may help.
Try that.
When i flashed my 2490 i did format the device and than did the flash.
But I don't think that matters cause the first time when i did flash i didn't format the drive and it was OK.

I'll remove the battery then and see tommorow. The main question is: is my device completely dead or is it "resurectable" ? I don't think that it need servicing .... but ... just asking
Thank you for the replies. If the batterry removal fix works I'll post here. In the meantime any other possible sollutions are welcome.

Just an idea (since I had to do this yesterday) maybe try formatting the device.
After flashing 4PDA ROM to my device it would get stack on the same screen as yours. After formatting it all went OK and I had WM6.
For my device I had to click calender + power + messaging + reset, release reset - release all.

i have " HP IPAQ hx2410 " with WM2003 CE 1.10.0 and i upgraded with this window 5.2 it upgraded successfully but i m stuck on the first loading screen. its stuck when loading complete i have tried every thing such as boot-loader thing and also cant downgrade it . . . so kindly plzzz any one tell me how can i go to my initial state on wm2003 ASAP.

i had a PDA Mypal Asus A696 with ROM WWE (English) v3.0702
i changed languaje to Spanish to upgrade to WM6. In the upgrading process appeared DOS screen with info about the upgraging. after "Write OS" and checked the PDA reboot and turn to black screen. After that, i cannot switch on the PDA. i have tried to perform a reboot, hard reset,... but always the same: Black Screen (as switch off).
Could someone help me please? i´m desperated.....

Hola,
I sometimes had the problem that the screen light was at the minimum when on battery. The only way to solve the problem is to make a soft reset while your PDA is linked by USB to your computer. Then, it should show the splashscreen.
After upgrading, did you get a good reboot or not ?
If not, hum ! Might be very bad for you... Sorry

I think that the upgrade was no performed successfully. It´s appears that everything was Ok but after reboot, nothing happens.
USB to PC is dead. Charge is dead (only red led is switch on but never turn to green after several hours).
I think that my PDA is broken. My only solution is to contact with support to repair it (150€) :-(

hey all,
i run into a problem today, my p3300 flashed with wm6 original from t-mobile netherlands keeps closing by itself. sometimes i see the screen dimming out and stay in a dark blue color, then i have to reset it to make it work,.
Sometimes it works for a bit longer then it shuts down again, and to power it on again i have to take off the battery.
I tryed hard-reset, no success. ima flash it again now and see if it helps.
If anyone knows a solution please
update: tryed reflashing with the same rom, didnt fix the problem. trying now with the english version (my own was dutch)
Did your problem start when you flashed a new rom? I had the same without doing nothing, Artemis was only 6 months old...I returned it back and they changed the mobo. Hope sincerely that this won't happen to you

Hi i am new in this forum but really old on the bussines, well the problem with my phone is that seems to be bricked, sometimes turn on hangs on operator logo and put black screen sometimes can get on boot mode some not, its an strange problem, already tried to flash with micro SD but no luck, i get the phone is this state to repair.
This is what i get when i put phone on boot mode:

The phone is from the operator TIM Italy i will really appreciate if u help me to solve this insue.
