Opera 2392 and keyboard issue - Touch CDMA Windows Mobile ROM Development

Hi
I have that version of opera but I cant use my touch and gullum diamond keys with t9. I Used the t9 fix that is in the post but nothing happend, just the qwety touch diamond works.
I apreciate your help, please tell me wich version of opera solve this problem.
Thanks.

I use v1957, in other versions while using Resco KB, it would get buggy, but this version works perfect.

Hi everyone! Ihave The taxist´s ROM 2.03 on my magician. It´s verygood, only the keyboard+ integrated in it i don´t like, because i need german signs like ä,ö,ü,ß, that are not supported. Does anybody know a soft keyboard (Freeware if possible) with a german layout? Need it badly!

Thanks a lot Mister B, the keyboard is working fine.
The keyboard (KbdDe.cab) is fine, BUT it is increadible slow on my magician (WWE 2.03 TX ROM). I've searched the forum for a solution, but most threads are about problems with XT9, i don't think I've installed that. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot...
Problem solved: After a softreset everything is ok.
what about Lithuanian keyboard?

On Screen Keyboards

Hi there,
I'm usually in the Blackstone or Rhodium forums and have a mate who has the Xperia X1 and asked me about the on screen keyboards.
Looking at this phone, he only has the normal on screen keyboard which needs the stylus to be used, is there anyone out there that has the "Full QWERTY" and "Phone Keypad" Keyboards as a cab to install?
Thanks
search for FINGER KEYBOARD 2.1 or something like that. it's much better than the se kb.

Are u serious?
what's the point of a software keyboard when u have a hardware one?
imho, the best solution even is to install nullkeyboard to stop the annoying software keyboard from popping up.
Try SPB Keyboard. Its great
Hi, Although u have the slider keyboard already, but for obvious reasons one may need a software keyboard too. Try SPB Keyboard (just google it and u get the links). It also gives u lot many plugins to shoose from various layouts/options of keyboard.
I have been using it for long and its works great on X1.
fingerkeyboard is by far the best!
hm.. this might help u

Although hardware keyboards are great, you need two hands to use them. When you want to send a quick message or send something quick on Twitter etc, one hand is prefered, hence the Software Keyboard is needed.

Cheers for the link
I used the Touch IT Blackstone keyboard set which includes a handy keypad, simulating a normal phone pad. I mostly use it for one-handed sms.
The filename is Touch-IT Blackstone Keyboard.cab or something, so a search would probably yield results.

Tried fingerkeyboard, Blackstone and SPB one. Actually I'm with the xT9 keyboard, that id the official finger-friendly keyboard that SE ships with the R3A ROM release. It is by far the best one I've ever tried.
Try it, it's here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=494026
The xT9 is the best keyboard. The only one you can use with one hand!

that was my issue... there's other ezinput 2.0 that i've got/tried...
and the fn keys are outputting different things...
ezinput 1.5 works BUT has smaller keys and the font is messed up (courier?)
oh well
still eager for someone to fix this issue...
what about the issue that older EzInput keyboards had with the predictive text on the X1i?
I remember when i installed 1.5 it would no longer pre-populate names as i was typing in the To: section for a text message
dont really care about t9 or predictive text...
i just want to type and use the fn key to properly output numbers rather than using sym all the time >.<

Disable XT9

On my Touch Pro I was able to disalbe XT9 by the following reg keys
Turn off
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409
Ime File=\windows\compime.dll
Layout Text=COMP IME
To Turn on again
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Layouts\e0010409
Ime File=\windows\eT9Ime.dll
Layout Text=eT9 IME
With my TP2 it now longer works. I am trying to disable XT9 so I have the microsoft drop down for suggested words.
Does anyone have the setting for this? Sorry if this has been posted already, I searched around on Google and just found the technique for XT9 for models other than TP2 which don't work.
**EDIT**
Found my own answer...
Enable XT9
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0030404]
"Ime File"="M5ImeMgr.dll"
Disable XT9
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0030404]
"Ime File"="compime.dll"
Works on my Hong Kong ROM and may not work with other ROMs.
will this make XT9 persistently stay on and not be forgotten every time you close down that panel (for hw keyboard)?

Stays on for me and it actually works with the on screen keyboard too which did not work with the Touch Pro.

If it was made awhile ago and not for TP2 then it will not work.
Would you like it in CAB format, can whip one up really quick.
yeah that would be awesome if you could, thank you!

I would make a cab but some people have said that it caused problems by the dll file name being different in their ROMs. I am using Hong Kong ROM, what ROM are you using?
My XT9 not working now since in install Studio Kuma Chinese input CAB. I have a Hong Kong TP2 English Version and i need Chinese handwriting input. But since in install the CAB. I lost the standard XT9 and I no longer can input Chinese using anyone of the standard input method.

Try this cab. It will return the registry settings for XT9 and input to default.
Hope it works for you.
Thanks At0mAng. I'll have a crack at your CAB. BTW, do you have the original TP2 Chinese handwriting CAB from your device?

Do you mean the new EZinput? I am not Asian so I never use the Asian input. I believe there is a way to enter chinese characters by hand. I can try to CAB up the EZInput from my dump and see if it works.

Swype Overlapping

So, I downloaded swype onto my WM 28011 Manila 2.5 ROM, and the problem is that when I click to open Swype, it overlaps a piece of the taskbar on the bottom of my screen. Is there any fix for this?

I got a Touch Pro (Fuze,) the resolutions for the Swype's are different. I use VGA and you use a WVGA cab.

I am trying to get swype 3.9 working on 6.5.3 without the overlapping of the bottom task bar.
Does anybody have any information on the 4shared Fix posted above? (or any other fix for the ovelaping of Swype).
The link is unfortunately broken.
Thanks

This was a fix a long time ago for the MS keyboard in some leaked build of WM 6.5. I bet there is a similar registry key for Swype. I don't have it installed currently, but if no one else tries it out, I will sometime tomorrow. Let me know if it works.
I just had to revive this thread... any fix for this lol.
