Building an OS - Touch CDMA Windows Mobile ROM Development

Alright, I just downloaded the kitchen software from ppc kitchen to build my own opperating system. When you log in, a screen comes up with different files you can open and then build/choose your options from the main screen. I chose all my options and then pressed the green/build button. It built it then when it was done it said I had an error of "Object refference not set to an instance of object" What does that mean or can can someone help me out on how to use this program?

The basics of this program is easy to understand.
1.Find an OEM package of the software you want
2. Put that OEM in the User_OEM folder (which will now show up as an option)
3. Make sure you are not putting duplicate programs or clicking duplicate programs to install (ie. multiple phone canvas's, calculator skins)
4. Press play to build
5. If all goes well then your ROM should now be ready to install.
*note: I do believe PPCkitchen does not install a radio so best bet would be load official stock ROM on phone for the radio then your Custom ROM
Also, if your getting errors during build then that means something is a miss. More then likely its the OEM package your using for a certain program. Just do trial and Error. Also, remember to specify which carrier your using in the upper right hand corner of the program.
Last thing make sure you are using a correct build for your phone. Meaning if your phone has a Non-GPS radio then make sure your Custom ROM is not GPS enabled ROM it has to be Non-GPS and vise-versa.
Hope this helps in shedding some light on how to use this program. Cheers!!!!!

It means there was an error in the code or an unhandled error in what you were trying to do. Post your build status log on www.pastebin.com, and provide a link to it in a post on ppckitchen.org.
Or, wait for the next version, do out any day now, and hope whatever caused it has been taken care of.

Guide to upgrading Universal with MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe

How to update your rom to the latest I-mate version (with push email) and Radio 1.09.0 using the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe method
1 – download the file “Universal_Upgrade_v1.30.68_radio_1.09.0.zip” from the ftp site (see bottom of post for details)
2 - double click the file and allow it to unpack into a folder
3 – right click on the active sync icon in your tasks tray on you pc (at the stage you should NOT have you universal plugged in)
4 – select connection setting then untick “allow USB connections”
5 – Now take your Universal and take out the SIM and MEMORY CARD
6 – Press light + power + reset with the phone on, this will place the universal into bootloader mode
7 – Connect your Universal via the USB cable to your computer directly i.e. not though a USB hub
8 – Now double click on the program called “MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe” (found in to folder from step 1) this will start the upgrade process, the first stage takes about 3 to 5 minutes to complete, you will then be presented with a screen showing a “Imate Jam” and some information about what you are upgrading to, don’t be worried if this screen does not show you the version numbers you have at present that is normal.
9 – Now continue with the process by clicking upgrade/next
10 – After sometime (about 20 minutes) you should be at the end screen tell you to unplug and reset you “jam” So now unplug your universal and reset it and that’s all there is to it!
Note that during the upgrade process you can follow the progress by also looking at your universal screen with a light source as the backlight will be off.
I hope this post helps someone as looking around the forum Im amazed by the amount of people asking “how do I upgrade my rom” or “I only get a “country id error” when trying to update”
The “Universal_Upgrade_v1.30.68_radio_1.09.0.zip” file can be found here

Blank screen but do you have the USB or SERIAL written on the Screen?
Rat didn't mention in his post but it comes out in the last screen that it is supposed to be a HARD RESET which will bring about a menu where you have to press 0 (Zero) to ahrd reset the device. hope this helps
Yip, sorry, That's correct. I get the screen that says I have to press 0 to reset or X to exit.
If I press 0 the screen goes blank and stays like that.
I've installed the previous ROM now and it is working perfectly. It's just the new ROM on this page doesn't want to work on my Jasjar.

I downloaded it straight from the first post and it installed flawlessly...
Have you tried installing it from bootloader mode instead of direct update? And without SD card in the PDA? This might work.
BTW, I have returned to the older ROM.... advantages don't outweigh the disadvantages.
My phone keeps on hanging (for the 1st time ever after 5 months use and different ROMs) on the screen where it shows whose calling. I havent answered the call yet but it stops ringing. When i open the PDA it has ANSWER on the left softkey and pressing this doesn't do anything. Will wait for the release..
It is a lot faster thought (the test ROM)
Thanks for the info. I'm not gonna bother upgrading now. I'll wait for a decent ROM later.
Thanks m8
umm - stupid question I know.....
But what does this actually DO??
I understand that this will upgrade the radio stack and thus produce better reception etc - but what else will it do??
If I have an Orange M5000 will I still be able to use it on Orange's network?? Do i need to fill in any settings? Do I need to make notes of certain stuff beforehand? If so - what settings?
I assume this will totally rewrite the registry and what programs are on teh device - or will it??
I suppose a lot of this information is available on the forum - but tracking it down can take a lot of time for someone who's not necessarily that 'au fait' with the working of the device.

not if your phone is simlocked (or network locked). new rom is only the software.
Yeah, sorry
Just reading the other thread on this - sorry , am a relative newby.
It looks like MachineGod and Buzz are on the case though - and with their track record........
I wanted to confirm that Ratcom's file he linked to is good (not corrupt) and his method for upgrade works. Nice work, Ratcom.

Upgrade Sprint Touch to Rev. A. COMPLETE TUTORIAL With Download Links.

THIS IS A STRAIGHT COPY/PASTE FROM dharvey4651's POST ON PPCGEEKS. I JUST WANTED TO SHARE IT HERE FOR THOSE THAT DO NOT CHECK PPCGEEKS. Enjoy!!

Upgrade Sprint Touch to Rev. A. COMPLETE TUTORIAL With Download Links.
As there are many Sprint users here and the new Alltel thread growing like a fungus, I figured it was a good time to create a tutorial thread with download links for Sprint users.
Let's begin.
UPGRADING SPRINT TOUCH TO REV. A
Make sure your phone(Sprint Touch) is fully charged as this will take the better part of an hour. While your phone is charging, I would strongly recommend using a program such as SPB Backup to backup all important information on your device as it will be hard reset multiple times during this process.
1. Download ImCoKeMaN's new Vogue unlocker: http://rapidshare.com/files/11019074...r_MFG_2.31.exe
2. Make sure your device is connected to ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center, whichever you have.
3. Run Vogue_unlocker_MFG_2.31.exe and follow the on screen instructions. It is VERY easy to do this wrong so MAKE SURE YOU READ ALL ON SCREEN INSTRUCTIONS during the process of unlocking your device. Your phone will display SPL 2.00.coke at first but will then change to 2.31.coke as you progress through the process.
4. Allow your phone to boot up completely into OS once the unlocker process is done. Hold the power and camera button and insert your stylus into the soft-reset hole next to the mini-usb port on the bottom of your phone. It should display an SPL of 2.31.coke.
IF YOUR DEVICE DISPLAYS THE 2.31.coke SPL THEN CONTINUE TO STEP 5. IF NOT, REPEAT STEPS 3&4 UNTIL IT DOES.
5. Reboot your phone so that it is back in OS and you are able to use the phone and connect to ActiveSync/WMDC.
6. Download and run RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL_WWE_3.04.671.2_Radio_4350H_3 .37.10_Alltel_NV2.00_PRL30008_0331_Ship_withSpecia lNBH.exe
and follow the on screen instructions. It is much the same as any RUU you may have used before. The update will appear to have crashed at 11%. Do NOT be alarmed as this is normal.
THIS STEP CAN BE FATAL FOR SPRINT USERS SO READ CAREFULLY!!!
7. When RUU is completed, align screen and set date and time as usual.
For All Non-Alltel users once you finish aligning the screen and setting the date and time it will say "Tap the screen to continue". As soon as you do this it will immediately display a message that says "Customization will begin in 3 seconds. Press OK to continue." SOFT RESET NOW!!! Do NOT allow carrier customization to run. Soft reset during that 3 seconds.
8. At this point your phone should be booting back up. It should still display the Sprint PCS banner on the HTC Home plugin and you will still be able to make and receive calls. At this time, test your internet and see if it works. I have read conflicting stories of people using the Alltel ROM and being able to use the internet still and also people not being able to use the internet.(If your internet does not work do not be alarmed, there is still one more step)
9. If your internet works and you like the Alltel ROM then you are done. If your internet does not work or you would rather have a Sprint ROM, continue to step 10.
10. Download RUU and jakdillard's new WM6.1 ROM below.
ROM - ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/gpstest2.1.rar
RUU - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VNIQUDP2
11. Copy contents of RUU folder to gpstest2.1 folder and run RomUpdateUtility.exe. Follow on screen prompts and ROM update should go smoothly.
12. Sprint users you are now done. You should now have a Rev. A Sprint Touch with the OEM look and feel of JD's 19209 build.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
GPS - HOW TO.
I know a lot of you have been wanting to get GPS working. Here is how to do it.
1. You must be using JD's newest test ROM which is available for download in step 10 of the tutorial above.
2. Download Google Maps from here: http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/P...&productType=2
It is free so don't worry.
3. Connect via ActiveSync or WMDC(whichever you have) and copy the downloaded cab file to your phone and run it. Install to main memory.
4. Just run Google Maps a wualla. Done.
How-To Get GPS Working Everytime (added by mindfrost82):
- Download GpsViewer.PPC300_2577.cab.zip(Holux GPS Viewer)(free)
- Run that program before you run any other GPS program
- Set it to Com4 and click Open
- Be near a window to get a fast lock on GPS (mine still works inside my house though)
- When you start to see what looks like lat/long in the display minimize it (don't close it)
- Now run Google Maps (or any other app) and set it to Com4 (or automatic should work too)
- It should pickup GPS right away since the GPS Viewer already has the locks
- Remember to close the Holux GPS Viewer when you're done or it'll constantly use GPS and drain your battery!

DOWNGRADING AND REVERTING BACK TO ORIGINAL SPL
1. Download ImCoKeMaN's original unlocker here: ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...e_unlocker.exe
2. Run Vogue_unlocker.exe and follow the on screen instructions to a T as it is very easy to mess up. This will overwrite the 2.31.coke SPL. During the unlocking process your device will display 0.36.coke SPL. This will change once update is complete.
3. Once you finished with the unlocker, your SPL should no longer display 2.31.coke but should now display 0.40.coke.
4. Insert your stylus into the soft-reset hole but do not allow to boot back up into OS. Instead, hold down the camera and power buttons and insert the stylus into the soft-reset hole again putting you in bootloader mode.
IF YOUR DEVICE STILL DISPLAYS 0.36.coke THEN CONTINUE TO STEP 5. IF NOT THEN RE-RUN STEPS 2&3 UNTIL IT DOES.
5. Since it is recommended that you flash back to the OEM 6.0 Sprint ROM at this time, that is the link that I am providing here. Download and flash the OEM 6.0 Sprint ROM. This will overwrite the custom SPL written by ImCoKeMaN's unlocker.
6. You're now done. Your phone has now been reverted back to it's original shipped state.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RESTORE THE 1.33.003 PRI
(Must complete the Downgrading and reverting back to original SPL tutorial first)
If you are a Sprint user and you allowed the Alltel customization to run and complete then you most likely are now wondering where the Sprint PCS banner went from the HTC Home Plugin and are also wondering why you are not able to connect to the internet regardless of what you do. This is a tutorial on how to fix this problem.
What happened to cause this problem is that Alltel's customization also contains a 2.01.001 PRI which is different from Sprint's 1.33.003 PRI. Allowing customization to run will overwrite Sprint's with Alltel's leaving you with no internet or Sprint PCS banner on the Home plugin.
Here is how to fix it:
1. Download GetSPC here: http://www.5gmobile.us/mobilefiles/VX6800/GetSPC.zip
2. Extract the zip file and copy the GetSPC folder to the root of main memory of your device.
3. Go to Start/Settings/System/Device Information and either open notepad or get a piece of paper and write down your ESN. This is your HEX ESN.
4. Run GetSPC.exe from that folder you placed on in the ROOT folder of your device and in the TOP box, type in your HEX ESN. Hit "GO" and the number generated will be your MSL. Write this number down as well.
5. From the dialpad(MUST BE ORIGINAL VOGUE DIALPAD, NOT A SKINNED DIAL PAD) dial ##786# and it will bring up a large list of quite a few different numbers. Write down your MDN and MSID(you will need them, trust me).
6. Click Menu and select reset. It will ask you to put in an unlock code. Type in your MSL. Everything will reset back to the factory defaults, including your PRI, MDN, and MSID.
7. Follow boot sequence and align screen and what not and allow Sprint's customization to complete.
8. From the dialpad, dial ##(6 digit MSL here)# and click edit. Type in your MDN and MSID and click OK.
9. Your phone should now be reverted back to the bare bones stock OEM 6.0 Sprint ROM with the Sprint PRI of 1.33. You're done.

Sprint Customization
Is there a way to put the Sprint customizations on here? E.g. a .cab that would install the Sprint style cube, today screen plug in, SprintTV, Sprint Music, etc.?
One thing I noticed was that the cube is HTC but when you spin it, it is Alltel. I have searched both here and PPCGeeks but haven't found any Sprint cabs.
Any help?
Other than that, 6.1 and GPS, hotness! Works great.

Update: I found most of them, the link to where for anyone else is http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22706
Now I am only trying to get the following: the updated Sprint Cube, the Sprint animated splash screen, and the Sprint theme.
Anybody?
I just wanted to say that this works perfectly on Bell Mobility in Canada, and it's great!
I followed the process and I've been waiting for this since I purchase the Vogue last year. I am impressed by this and I cannot believe Sprint was not able to make this happen any time sooner. This is great!
This would make a great sticky!

I can also attest that this works perfect. Winmo 6.1, GPS, Rev A data speeds, clean fast (so far) stable rom. Also, an added bonus that i found is with this rom my mic sensitivity issue has been resolved. I could not hold a converstaion with someone if i was in a relatively loud atmosphere. Must be a 6.1 update or something. Who knows.....
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. Big ups to the original poster at ppcgeeks.com

I dabbled in that a while back with no luck. There was a CSV type file somewheres that i found w/ help from this forum. It looked too easy to mess something up.
Side note: RevA is blazin fast....
I can't run the "RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL_WWE_3.04.671.2_Radio_4350H_ 3.37.10_Alltel_NV2.00_PRL30008_0331_Ship_withSpeci alNBH.exe" file. It always gives me error "Vouge has encounter a problem and needs to close"
What should I do? I have XP SP2 with Admin right. Please help

Sense 2.5 help

Hey I would like to have sense 2.5 on my tilt too, but i really have no clue where to download it or start, help plz
I've read all the howtos and I tried flashing a 2.5 rom i found(i think its the right kind) and I keep getting error 262
Did you flash hardspl? What rom are you trying to flash? I suggest trying energy rom leo.
If by flash you mean download and run it on my computer then yes and the energy leo is the one i tried
When I click on the leo customRUU I get "windows cannot acces the specified path device of file. you may not have the appropriate permission to access this file "
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=550540
I alrdy read that a few times over
"Flashing via ActiveSync with USB Lead (thanks to OliNex)
1. Download HardSPL package from *HERE* and extract to an empty folder
2. Synch Phone with PC in Windows Mobile!!! It has to be connected to activesync or WMDC via USB cable and it must not be in Flight/Airplane mode (i.e. radio should be on)
3. NEW: Internet access is required as the program checks online for updates and license
4. Run Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3.exe on PC, make sure it's launched from a local drive (not through network drive, etc.). XP requires Admin logon and Vista/Windows 7 will automatically prompt to allow it to run in Admin mode, allow it. If you get an AntiVirus warning please ignore it, it contains no harmful code (just used a packer to compress it)
5. Follow steps as prompted in the HardSPL program. If this is the first run of HardSPL on a device after Hard Reset, you must select Automatic Flash Mode (first button in Welcome Screen)
NOTE: You should usually go for Automatic Flash Mode. The Manual Flash option is only to be used as noted below and you must only attempt the Manual Mode option if Automatic Flash Mode or SSPL-Manual.exe already put device in black screen. Any other errors triggered while running in Autoflash Mode will have to be fixed as instructed in the error message.
6. It will ask you to wait while it prepares for the flashing, press OK
7. Now it should go through without any error messages, if one does pop up then follow the instructions included in the error text. If no specific instruction is shown then ask for help in the thread, but this should not ever occur (as this means a really fatal error occurred)
8. At this point the phone hopefully went to a black screen (reporting version as 1.01.C-SSPL only using "info 7" in mtty), this is the SSPL version, which is temporary. Then RUU will instantly launch
9. NOTE: When RUU says it will Hard Reset do not worry, it is not going to do that. Also when it says the flash will take 10 minutes ignore that, it will only take a minute or so
10. SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done"
So im here asking for help
did you download the package from "here" in the directions first and flash that before going onto a custom rom like nrg's?
yes i did.....
never ran into any problems myself so i dont know whats up but have you tried on another computer? flashed through sd card?

[APP] Windows Mobile SenseTimeTracker

On CodePlex I have published my app for tracking working time.
It is based on the SenseUI SDK.
SenseTimeTracker
For furter feature development either this thread can be used or the discussions in CodePlex.
After getting some feedback according to installation problems, I figured out, that the deployed .cab file does not contain the SQL Server Compact 3.5.
This has to be installed manually until I do not provide a msi-setup.
Explanation on how to install the .NET Compact Framwork 3.5 and/or the SQL Server Compact 3.5 has been added on the CodePlex page.
Version history:
Version 1.3
* Length checking of input fields
* Bug fixed with reports when first time card has date in january
* Issue with localization fixed
* Category edit form localized
* Creating new category did throw an excexption
* Default category is hidden in category list
Version 1.2
* cab file now creates a shortcut
* new version detection added
Version 1.1
* Initial release after UI redesign
Installation Procedure
Hi, Could you explain the Installation procedure, other than download and install is there any other additional requirement to get this program up and running?
Thanks
Download the cab file, copy to your mobile device and run it from there.
This shall install SenseTimeTracker on you mobile device.
Let me know if it doesn't, since it is my first publishing. I only installed it on my device or the emulator.
Test
OK! I downloaded you app, installed and found the following problem, btw I am on a Blackstone using G10 Dusk Ultimate 2 v 8.31

I went to programs found the your app and try starting it from there, I got the following error

On my devices there has been SQLCE installed, so I didn't recognize it.

Hi I downloaded and follow your instructions regarding the installation process and got the top half of the error I posted above when I tried starting the apps also no icon was installed in programs menu I tried it on G10 Ultimate 2 v8.40 release today
The icon issue I couldn't check yesterday, will do that asap. Did a lot of research how to deploy SQL Server Compact.
But could you run the app?

No, its not running, when I try runnunig it I get the same error box but only the top half of the message the bottom half is gone.
That makes no sense since allways an explanation of the exception is displayed.
If you installed the SQL Server Compact, can you try to delete the whole SenseTimeTracker folder in the program as well as in the documents directory (if there is one) and reinstall the cab again.
I checked this yesterday on a clean emulator and it worked. So without any further hints I cannot guess the problem.
Are you familar with developing smart device aps. Then I can send you the project for visual studio and you can try to deploy it from within VS. That shall work. Let me know.
I suggest to contact me via pm, I will help you to fix your problem.

I must say thanks for what I have seen so far if I get it working on G10 rom I will do some more in dept testing.
Thanks again for sharing
Ok, I see, it has nothing to do with your ROM.
I think there is a bug with the categories which only occurs on an empty/fresh database. On my tests I've had everytome a filled one, since I implemented category support later on.
I had some minutes to try it on a fresh installtion. Unfortunatly I cannot reproduce this bug. Can you plz provide more info, what in which order you entered for getting this error. I first created a user which is mandatory. Then created a client, then a project for that client and then a task for that project. Now entering a timecard did work, since the default category ("unknown") was used. The error you've got is a key violation between task and category. This should not occour, but I need to know in what order you entered the data.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I was trying some other roms but no luck getting this app to work on those other roms that I flash, for me its only working on stock and Energy GTX I am presently downloading a 6.5 rom to test all others has been 6.5.x.
I have been able to reproduce the error again and again, try this
Go to category select new and create a new category everything should be ok, create another one and it should crash, also I am unable to edit the category "unknown"
More Crashes
Hi, I did some more test and I got more errors I have attach one picture, let me try to explain
1) If I try to copy the TimCard it crashes
2) TaskName is to long it crahes
I got a couple more crashes but I forgot where in the apps they occour however it seems that is not handling user input error well maybe a dialog box should appear and tell the user that the TaskName is to long or something like that I also think you should try and test if all but most of the option like copy, remove, edit, maybe it my rom related but you could still check just to be sure.
Thx again for the responses.
Couls get it allready run with the other ROMs? I have no opinion about these ROMs. I do not use any special functiuons, it is only .Net-code. The only explanation I have would be that there are problems with drawing. Bit this is done by the SenseUI framework which I cannot modify or debug.
Now to the issues.
The Category issue I could allready fix for me, will update it soon. Dont use categores for the mean while, use only "Unknow". You can change it later when it works. The "Unknow" category should not be editable, I will hide it in the next release.
The issue with the task names beeing too long is a bit more difficult to fix, I'll try to find a solution (need a common one since this will be happen with all inputs).
For the issue with copying a time card, I need a screendum of the error. I use copying of time cards allmost every day and never had problems. So it should be some special in your entries. If I have the error output, I hope to have an idea.

Hi, I have flashed back to my rom of choice as I need it for work, I also used an apps name Pocket Time, I was hoping to get your working as your is mor mordern and has more options, anyway I will be able to test your program again this weekend and I its working for me I will change my rom and start using your apps I like it.
I have attach the detail section or the Task Name error for you to look at also I have attach the error and the error detail section of G10 rom maybe from those pictures you can figrue why it dosent start
The last five is from G10
Thanks
Thx for the dumps.
As I allready wrote, the problem with the length of the description is a common problem. I did know, that it wasn't checked. I will release a new version today (1.3) which supports those checks.
The other problem has something to do with the serialisation/deserialisation of the user settings. These are stored in an XML-file in the application directory. And it seems, that the existing date time format has problems.
Is the language of your G10 ROM a different than the default ROM? I assume, you have created the XML the first time with on ROM and now trying to read it with another on. And the DateTime format of both are different and cannot be parsed.
Try to delete the xml-file in the app directory and start the app again with the G10 ROM. Let me know, if this solved the problem. May be I can then find a solution therefor. If you delete the xml-File, you will be asked for selecting a user. Select you previous eneterd user. If you navigate away from the user panel, you will be asked for the password you entered previously.
If you not allready entered sensitive data, you can send my the database (sdf-file) and the xml-file. Then I can try to debug it. I've had a lokk into the xml-file and saw there are only two time fields where the time is entered as 8:00:00 and 17:00:00. If this format is not valid on your ROM due to another culture, then this may cause the error you posted. What is the usual time format on your country?
Then I have a question according this ROM. The error occurs in Deserialize while reading a DateTime value. I have a try-parse in the deserializing section. So no exception should be thrown by the app. If there is an error in the XML file, defaults are used. I did try this on my device and ti worked that way. So I really do not know, why the exception is thrown. Ist there any special in your ROM handling exceptions?

Hi, I am using the original G10 WWE Ultimate 2 v8.31 rom out of the box in fact all the ROM I have tried this app on has been out of the box, will try flashing and trying your app again this weekend.
Are you using your app on an original stock rom or a cooked rom?
I'm using the app on the updated but original HTC ROM. But it did also work on the nonupdated.
The description of you exception shows me, that the problem has something to do with the localized date time format. What localizaion do you use. And I think you've got it allready running with another ROM. What localization do you have there?
What I totally do not understand, in my opinion there should not be thrown an exception, since serialization is done within a try/catch block. If there is an deserialization error, it should be catched and defaults should be used, which I have testet.

[Q] Who provides a professional service to upgrade my Kaiser

Hey all,
I own an unlocked ATT Tilt 1 (Kaiser 8925). It is currently running windows mobile which is extremely slow. I have read all over the internet that you can put the Android 2.2 OS on this phone and have seen youtube videos on this topic also.
Ideally I need to be able to buy apps from the android marketplace.
Since I'm not a phone hacker I'd like to find a professional cel phone service company that can do this for me.
I searched extensively on Google and can't seem to find one. So who can do this and what is the normal charge for something like this.
Just trying make my old phone useful in wifi mode.
Any advice would be great.
Regards Henry
I don't think there is a company that provides such a service especially if we take in to account that kaiser/tilt is a 3 year old device and the android port is not official. There are plenty of topics in the forum describing how to replace winmo with Android. You don't have to be a hacker to run Android on your phone. Just read the stickies and you wil be able to flash ityourself in no time
There are phone dealers out there (in the USA anyway), that will do this for a fee on the Kaiser, but trust me, with what has gone into the development of this, almost anyone can do it. Save yourself the money and try it yourself. The worst I've heard about is a mis-flashed phone needing some master reset.
The question is who?
I live here in the Orlando area and have called a number of cel phone companies.
I was treated like King Gidorah Three Headed Space Monster. They didn't have a clue this could be done.

Listen HenrykJR there are about dozens of android builds on this forum + many different versions of two kernels, not all of those will work correctly for you. You might experience different issues with one setup but the other will work correctly for you. So even if there was a company that could flash it for you, you might end up with an unstable device. Also how could a company gain knowledge on flashing android builds to a phone that was originally shipped with windows mobile??? You seem to be looking for Nessy....in woods.
Your best bet now is to find someone in the forums to help you flash your device....maybe even use skype to show you how to do it. It really isn't that hard.
Hehe, i don´t think you´ll find a Company that will do it for you. Maybe you find some guys that do it for Money (me to ). But if you spend a little time with reading through this forum you could do it yourself and save the money.
Preparing:
1.) You need a SD card (mandatory for android on Kaiser). And you need a Google Mail Account for syncing your contacts etc. and access the android market.
2.) You have to "unlock" your Phone (with HSPL/HardSPL). Only after that you are able to flash things (Cusom WinMo ROMs, Radio, Android) to your Kaiser. So read through this guide and follow step 1-4.
3.) Now you have an unlocked phone an you should be able to flash everything. And the first thing you flash should be the latest "radio". The "radio" for Kaiser is similar to the BIOS for your PC. Like the subsystem and responsible for GSM chipset etc... So look & read in this Radio-Thread, download the latest Radio (it is 1.71.09.01) an follow the guide "Flashing Radio from microSD"
4.) Now your Phone is up-to-date and ready for flashing Android (or WinMo custom roms). YOU NEVER HAVE TO DO THE STEPS 1-3 AGAIN! Your Phone is now completely prepared!
Flashing Android:
For Android on Kaiser you always need 2 Parts. The Kernel (this part initialize the hardware so its similar to "driver" on PC) and the Built (the Android OS itself). But Both should work together so you´ll may find in some kernel suggestions in Built-threads because not ever kernel work with every built. For your beginning i whould suggest you some things:
First the kernel:
DZO is the most popular (the father of android on Kaiser) Kernel-Developer for Kaiser. So go to his repository and download "voguimg-240x320-2.6.32-froyo-09-10-10_23.nbh". Because Vouge and kaiser have almost the same hardware we all could use this kernel. But everyone have to modify this kernel to make phone related optimizations. You can do thy by hand (not recommended for you) or with a tool called "Atools". This tool is writthen in "Python" so mac and linux user could use it too. But you need to install Python. But that is all described in the Atools thread. Read through it and follow the guide.
Modifing Kernel:
We will only modify the madatory things. Not more at the moment...
So run Atools, klick on the "folder" Button and load the "voguimg-240x320-2.6.32-froyo-09-10-10_23.nbh".
Device: "Kaiser" should be checked
Resolution: 240x320 should be checked (native resolution of Kaiser display). Everything else will give blurry optic.
Version: "Froyo" should be checked, because we will flash a Froyo built (thats android 2.2). If you want to flash an older built like a Donut one (1.6) you have to modify & flash your kernel again.
Panel Type: Try "auto" or "1" first. But if you have a fuzzy screen or artifacts you have to try out which paneltype fits best for your device. HTC has built in 3 different displays in the Kaiser and the only way to find out which one is builtin is trial & error.
Keymap: Depends on which hardware keyboard layout you have. Here in Germeny i have to use "qwertz".
We leave the other options as they are an klick on the "Disk" button to save our modificated kernel now. it save it as "KAISIMG.nbh".
Now we need the Built:
I suggest "Fat Free Froyo" at the moment. Fast, stable, an looks good. So go to this thread and download "ODEX DOWNLOAD RLS5 ALL LANG-ODEX" on the bottom of the post.
then unzip/unrar this file...
Flashing your first Android:
1.) You should have a fat32 formatted SD card
2.) put the Kernel (the modified KAISIMG.nbh) to the root of SD card
3.) Create a folder named "andboot" on SD card
4.) Put the unzipped file (androidinstall.tar or .tgz) in the folder "andboot"
5.) Remove SIMcard and any cables from phone and put the SD card in your phone. Battery should be 50% carged or more...
6.) go to bootloader-mode (press and hold camera button and powerbutton). the KAISIMG should be loaded and it will show you "press powerbutton to update" or something similar. Do that... Now a progressbar will appear. When it is at 100% wait a few seconds an then pull the battery. Wait 10 seconds an insert it again. Voila! You flashed your first android kernel!
7.) Now we have to install android itself. So Power on the phone. In the moment when you see small white text on black background you have to press and hold the d-pad button. This one in the middle. Now you get in the install menu.
8.) Leave the options "System on nand" and "DATA on nand" as it is. Navigate to "install system" an press dpad. It ask "format system" and "format data". Both "YES". after this procedure you enter the menu again. navigate to "quit".
9.) Yeah! The first Bootup of Android! The first bootup takes longer as the following ones because now the system prepares for bootup and do a lot of optimisations. Even if you enter the lockscreen you should give it 10 minutes time to finish this optimization process in backround.
10.) Finish! You have flashed your first android completely! Now you can play around and make your settings. Remember: You have to sign in to your google account befor you can access the market or syncronize your contacts etc.!
Sounds more complicated as it is. Try it!
And if you´ll dig in deeper in this stuff you have to read here! Especially the Stickies/Refs/Tutorials! We´ve all done that!
have fun!

Brother, You can do it yourself, I can assure you. Regarding any ambiguity, you can contact me through PM. (I can guide you complete on voice over skype / msn). Its a TIDEOUS job but EASY to do since there is no MEANS OF BRICKING your kaiser (unless you flash something else than what u have do to install android).
I am here to help you in this community. And you can do this thing yourself.
Your device is At&t Tilt. The bad thing about installing android is getting a RIGHT kernel that suits your LCD type and enables wifi in the android build u install. (maybe in 1st try, maybe takes almost 10 tries like it happened for me)
