Apologies if this is posted somewhere else, but I have done a fairly comprehensive Google search and not located it.
Is the XDA Store down temporarily/permanently? I was getting a XDA store is down message whenever I clicked for the last couple weeks, but now I am getting a cannot display message by browsers.
Hope it is something that I have missed!

I keep seeing in the footer of people's messages in this forum that they sent it using the xda mobile app powered by Tapatalk. Well I've spent a long time trying to find this app with no success! I know it's listed in the market but like many apps there, once you select it from the search results, it says it cannot find it. Is it restricted to people outside the UK maybe? Is there anywhere else I can download it from and is it really worth having?

I was looking for the same thing last night (eventually found the XDA specific version), but I did find out that the reason the full version doesn't appear is because Google haven't authorized the Desire ROM as "legitimate" yet. This means that any apps that the developers flags as copy protected won't show up, such as Tapatalk, ShapeWriter and a bunch of others.
They did the same thing with the Hero when it was first released and took them some time to fix it. Unfortunately the ball is in Google's court so there's nothing we can do but wait. :-/
That's quite frustrating but it's nice to know the reason for it anyway.

like the posts above say, search the market for XDA-developers.....
is that xda forum specific? is there a taptalk application that can be used with other forums?
it's not XDA specific.
For some hard to understand reason though, the generic TapaTalk is not available on the market (tried with both Desire and Liquid, hence android 2.1 and 1.6).
I solved by "finding" it from other sources, sources I obviously cannot link here
Does someone have archives of older versions of the XDA tapatalk app? I just updated to 1.3.2 (and I don't remember what version I was running previously) and it runs extremely slowly on my G1. I'd like to go back to an older version. Maybe 1.3.0, maybe older, dunno yet.
I can find the tapatalk just fine in market. It's a paid app.

So today I tried installing the zynga app on my galaxy s, but then when I searched for it in the market it wasn't there. I thought something might be wrong with the search and ill just Google it. I saw the link to the android market for zynga poker on google and when I clicked it the web browser closed and took me to the market where it said that the app is not available or something like that. Anyone else facing this problem or did android just take down the app?

Are you running the new JVR? It could be the same issue I had here.
MasterJam882 suggests we give it a week or two and these "missing apps" will reappear in the market searches. I'm inclined to think he is right.

This was actually posted about 5hrs ago. Best thing to do so there are not 2 duplicate posts of the same thing is to search or just view this thread. Hit the search, type in....new market or what not & you'll see if anyone else had posted this topic.
Tip: This is what I did to avoid what you did (The search button is your friend)

I just started using google chrome. For some reason I cannot view attached thumbnails on XDA. I do not have an adblock in place. I cleared cache and cookies. Does anyone know why I cannot view .jpg images? I searched google but I did not receive a workable solution.

after a long hiatus away... I'm back lurking around XDA ;-P
For a long while I was accessing XDA via Tapatalk app on android.
One day it stopped working, so I stopped coming... I hate using laptop for getting my Forum fix (although, this is how thread is being created).
Anyhow, I've just purchased a sparkly new mobile phone i.e. Asus Rog Phone 3.
So, I'd thought I'd DL the XDA app and get back in the mix.
Issue is when I try and login via app, Chrome and Firefox pop up on bottom of screen!?
I can however browse the forum via app as a guest.
I'm assuming there is an easy fix for this issue, I just cant seem to find it.
Help appreciated and TIA.

The app uses a browser to authorize the login.
There were some problems with Firefox, not sure status of that.
