I-MATE JASJAR doesn't respond!!!

I was upgrading my imate jasjar radio to the 1.04.02 version but by mistake i executed the file EnterBL.exe
Now my imate just show a screen with Serial and v1.00 wrote on it!!!....
softreset and hardreset dont work...
please help!!!

It could be worse!
Hold down power and press reset, I think that clears it on JASJAR

Ok, well to hard reset it, you can hold down the 2 - - at the top of the keyboard, then press reset.

soft and hard reset dont work too

Now that it is in booloader, try running the entire rom upgrade rather than the radio upgrade

Hello,
Can you explain me the process of ROM Upgrading my Jasjar is dead and when i try to Hard Reset it after pressing 0 ( zero ) it shuts down again. At first i thought it was battery problem but when i replaced the battery i got the same error.

Today i tried to flash my PDA back to amazing artemis 1.0
beacuse i like it
but i had stuck in my computer I stoped flashing but my mobile is not working and not charging
it's not macking boot loade mode

remove battery during several minutes and try again to enter in boot loader.

Hi bro, hold on the voice-dail button (record button), & hold the power button at the sametime. then wait several seconds, you'll get the multi-color screen.
now it's time to plugin the usb for upgrading or recovering.
I met the problem that it always failed when the progress was 3%. i downloaded several roms from internet. how could i know which rom is correct for my device(p800 in China). Besides, my device could just enter the boot mode, so it's impossible to unlock spl for it.
and The worst thing is that there are several hours(not minutes) between each time to power on it. It means i should wait 1 or 2 or 3 hours (who the hell know) to re-flash it after i was failed to flash previously.
is anybody had the same experience. that's really make me crazy.

Hi,
you've removed the microSD, right?
If yes, did you try with the original ROM for the P3300?
p800=p3300, but i'm not 100% sure...

Hello Guys,
I have the same problem with my P3300.
The problem is that the phone do not start and I cant put in the cooked rom because I did not make the Uspl when it was still alive.
Is it possible to USPL the rom also if is not connected whit activesync?

yes I'm Italian, thank you for the reply.
I had the original ROM, but now the phone is broken, if I try to switch it on the system go in crash in few seconds.
i tried to put in in bootloader mode (colored screen), but i can not load in ROM because the process crash when is at 3%, can I USPL the ROM from the sd card or when is off?

Are you sure that have you removed the SD card when you flash?
O.T.: me too, if you prefer to speak italian with me you can write in Italian in O.T. but you must wrote also in english

you can try to extract the nbh file from the executable of the original ROM and with SD Flash but I'm not sure ... I'm sorry, now I must run away, see you tomorrow

Diamond dead during hard spl update

HI all! It will be more then great if anybody can help me.
The story is simple one guy decide to unlock his Diamond throw some free way ( I don't know how exectly ) he end with error 260 and DEAD Diamond.
The device does not get into bootloader when pressing Vol_- + reset.
Now this Diamond in my hands.
Can anyone please advice what can I do? can I flash ROM?
P.S. this phone are new and Orange UK branded.
Please help and sorry for my poor English.

On the Diamond you can access bootloader by jsut reseting and holding down the "Vol Down" Key only...
Try this and report back.

Where is this error 260 indicated ? If the ROM starts up and shows some error, the bootloader will work for sure.

That what I told volume down + reset not working with this phone. It is in another one which I have here.
The phone doesn't show any signs of life, I think I need test point or maybe JTAG way to repair it......
Any suggestions?

I don't know I got this phone it this condition with a story about this error.
I don't actually know what happened, but I believe that this phone bricked down in the middle of unlocking process.

If there is no life in the phone then there is not much we offer/say to help.
Have you tried another battery?

Only to make a bit easy this step cause in this way one would be an octopus , soft reset your device with stylus and then, within 3 seconds, hold Vol down + centre round button until you see the tricolour screen. Release the buttons and follow the instructions (Press Vol Up to restore to manufactured settings).

This is the typical case when someone didnt do his homework. Im sure you didnt read the stickies. Poeple be warned, flashing your device can kill it if you dont have a clue on what you are doing. Ive seen a bunch of n00bs bricking their devices just because the didnt read the forum. This question has been ansewred a lot.

sorry friend to hear but i have one solution may be it can work u just flash hard spl v 1.93 olinex from here:http://ficca.bounceme.net/download/HARDSpl_Diamond_OliNex_1.93_Unsigned.zip just flash this hspl and after flashing this u can flash any rom but now u just flash this hspl if u got 100% then ur prob is solve so pls tell me what happen after that hope every thing will be alright good luck

Error 260 is a USB communication error. Did this happen during sim unlock or during hardspl install because the thread title says one thing and your post says another.

I have the same problem.. i tried a flash and then it wont turn on.. not even hard reset not even soft reset.. it wont even charge or indicate charging.

Hey charly, i flashed my phones many times, i've bricked it , got stuck on the tricolour screen.... but this time it's different... the phone it's completely dead... no light .. not charging no tricolour .. nothing:S

try this method for ur diamond
first remove ur battery form ur device and press the power button for 20 seconds . so it will discharge the power from ur device. after that put ur battery and press volume - and power on button to enter boot loader ... dont press reset button to enter bootloader ok !! hope this works for u , best of luck.

no luck.... i did the battery on the fridge processs.. no luck with that either... now i'm gonna check the battery with somekind of instrument and after that i'm gonna open my diamond to little pieces and put it back together... in quest for a fix

a did some measurements, the battery was 2.8V, i put it on the phone, put the phone in ccharger, and it did charge the batery to 3.7V(even the baterry led is not working).. i measured the phone also it gives 4.15V to the battery... i dont know is he charging correctly.. but it's charging the battery for sure.. ..... any clues ppl?

Bad overclocking - Need Help!

1 hour ago I installed program "OmapClockKeep", I set minimum 147MHz and max 247MHz and I softrestart.... And - After restart it shows only start screen of windows and either restart or freeze...
What can i do?
I hope I don´t damage my lovely elfin with 6.1 completely...

as que said you need to tell us more about your problem there isnt any help i can offer with so little information

it stucks on tricolor screen?
or stucks on a % bar, white screen?

Do you perform the Hardspl? first?
or just saw the rom and say, i will upgrade...!

i had also this problemes and i solved it by change the usb port. you can also change the usb cabel

remember!!!
never do a hardreset on this kind of troubles ok?
its better to drop off the battery instead of softreset
