Weird audio issue - MDA III, XDA III, PDA2k, 9090 General

I was talking on the phone when I plugged my phone into the power adapter, and the audio in the phone call disappeared. I thought that was strange, and reset the phone, after which the audio worked fine when the phone was plugged into the power adapter, or the USB power adapter, but now audio during the phone will not work without the power adapter.
So.. when I am not on the phone, volume works just fine, but as soon as I go to dial a number and click on connect, or answer a call, my speaker no longer sends any audio. Pushing and holding the talk button no longer enables the speakerphone either. If, while I am in the call, I connect to the power adapter, the audio turns on, but once again, as soon as I disconnect the power adapter, audio is gone.
Sometimes if I reset the device, the first phone call that I make, works fine, but as soon as I hang up, the next call will not work again.
I tried hardware reset, tried WM6, WM6.1, downgraded again to 2003SE, no effect...
Any ideas?
Thanks!

speaker randomly dies - no hardware problem!

g´d evening guys.
hope that someone can help me out with this one:
i´m using schaps 3.54c and it was working fine for a long time, but now it randomly happens that my speaker dies. i mean ...yeah, well, it just dies - but audio is still working via the usb headphones. it gets even stranger because i was able to get it back working a few times by enabling/disabling flight mode or starting strange combinations of audio players at the same time.
but now it´s dead again and i can try whatever i want = no chance to get it back so far, and i don´t want to reflash.
anyone with an idea, suggestion?
Same thing happened to me. Its the plug. When you plug in the usb headset it triggers the device to send the sound via usb. When you take it out, it stays Via usb because something is broken inside the plug and it doesnt go to the external speakers. I used to have to plug it in and out 10 times to get it to go back to external speakers. Afer a few weeks of that it wouldnt go to the external speakers at all.

HTC audio adaptor seems muddled, click to hear rather than speak????

Hi,
I have the standard HTC Audio adaptor which contains the button mic to speak if required. I tend to use the adaptor to listen to music. However it has now got confused ie when I plug it into the Touch Pro 2 the sound continues to come out of the phone speaker. When I click on the button and hold the button down I hear the music through the external wired connected speaker. Also I sometimes see the "video Out" settings come up on my phone. Is the capable broken and needs replacement or is there some setting that I need to check. I was changing speakers while the phone was playing to compare sound and may have also accidentally clicked the button. So is it confused? Seen this before or am I in for a new adaptor?
Thanks,
Sam
P.s I have tried resetting the phone.

[Q] HELP Audio/Headphone totally messed up, hardware or software problem?

I have tried almost everything to fix this problem but i just can't.
When i connect my headphone (beats and normal Samsung one) to the phone and click on play or next/previous button, nothing happens. The phone wont recognize the buttons. 4 days ago everything worked perfectly. It just suddenly happened. I was on AOKP milestone 4.
When it happened the first time, 4 days ago, i thought it might be a problem in the ROM so i wiped everything and rebooted phone. Still the same. I then re flashed the ROM several times and it was still the same. So i just got angry and put phone away. Then after 14 hours or something i plugged headphone back in the phone and opened up poweramp. Then i hit play button on headphone and suddenly it worked. I was happy, but after 1 minute i hit pause button and phone wouldn't recognize it. I kept plugging and unplugging the headphone and after several tries it worked again for a minute or two, then it didn't. This made me think it is a software problem. But when i had headphone plugged in and let music play and unplugging the headphone, the music kept playing, with no sound (Music was playing when headphone was plugged in, but then i unplugged it, but music didn't stop like it usually does when u unplug the headphone). Now the speaker didn't work. After some minutes later it magically worked again.
Now i was wondering if it is a hardware problem. Another thing to mention is that when this happens(no sound after unplugging the headphone) the phone sensor in dialer wont work. When i make a phone call to someone, the phone sensor wont work, meaning, the phone wont go black when i lift it up to my ear. Also no sound from the front speaker. So i have to use headphone to call someone, until the phone speaker works again. Then the dialer sensor will work again.
I have tried about 3 ROMS and they are all the same. I have now flashed stock Google 4.0.4 and it's still the same. Now unrooted.
Please if you don't understand some parts of my problem, ask and i will try to answer in a better way.
Will take a video soon, hopefully it will be easier to see what problem i have.
Video 1: Here I have just rebooted the phone and opened music app to see if the button on headphone works. As you can see it works the first time i plug it in. But after that it doesn't work. You can also see that once i remove the headphone, while music is playing, the phone speaker wont work. !!! Something i forgot to show you... You can see that phone speaker wont work when i unplug the headphone, but when i click up and down volume button on the phone buttons, you can hear them. Its only the music/movie/dialer etc that doesn't work.
Video 2 : Here i am testing the beats headphone, just to show you that it isn't the Samsung headphones fault.
Video 3: Here i am showing you that the phone sensor wont work in dialer.
Video 4: This one is very strange. I have plugged in the headphone, but when i click volume buttons on phone, you can hear it from the back speaker. This shouldn't happen right? I mean when the headphone is plugged in, then all sounds should be coming from the headphone, not the phone speaker.
Bump. Any suggestions?
*For the last 2 days the buttons actually worked for several hours, but as soon as i take them out, they wont work for god knows how long...
Ok if no one knows anything, can someone give me some advice on what to say when I return the phone? I still have warranty but don't know if this will be covered by it. Also i have just flashed stock google 4.0.4 ROM, but is there anything else I should before returning the phone? Phone is bought from Netcom Norway.

Headphones mistaken if plugged when screen off

Hello,
When I plug in my regular headphones/earbuds (Sennheiser CX 150) into the LG G4 (Sprint) when the screen is off, the phone mistakenly thinks I've plugged in a headset/mic combo (the status icon is the headset/mic), even though there is no mic, just earbuds. Annoyingly, the phone also wakes the screen and launches the Voice Mate app. Just because I've plugged in my earbuds while the screen was off.
But when I plug in those earbuds when the screen is already on/awake, the phone correctly recognizes them as headphones (no microphone) and doesn't launch the Voice Mate app, just sits there on whatever screen was displayed, but adds the headphone icon at the top of the screen (as it should for these earbuds).
Anyone know why the phone would do this misbehavior when plugging regular earbuds in while screen is off? As a work-around I've been waking my phone screen before plugging in the earbuds, but I'd prefer to understand why the phone is misbehaving like this when I try to plug in the earbuds when the screen is off?
Can I disable the voice mate launching at least? Almost as if the phone thinks I've done something to initiate that too, upon plugging in the earbuds with screen off.
Same problem in my car
When I plug my car's aux audio cable into the headphone jack of my G4, faiiiil. Same problem - - my " okay, Google" commands fall on deaf ears, because the mic has been silenced. This happens to me whether the screen is black or lit - - and annoyingly, there seems to be no way to change the mic setting manually. Unless someone here can enlighten me? THANKS!
Have a T-Mobile g4 and it works normal with my bose headphones screen on and off. Bluetooth works great. Aux wire used is a griffen flat cable and no issues on playback
I have the same weirdness when I plug in my aux cable in my car - I get the wired headset icon, or some other icon that I don't recognize (it looks like a sideways s with a plug on the end). Sprint version.
The simple-est fix is this .. Plug your usb cord into your computer and your phone at the same time... wait a minute, and then disconnect. It has fixed this issue SEVERAL times on my G4 .. hopefully the simple fix does the trick for you as well
Same issue here. I'm starting to think it's a static electricity thing too? Like, the first time I plug in, it incorrectly classifies it. But if I unplug and try again, it usually works.
Sometimes, when I'm on the USB cable when I try, it works. But I really get bothered by the mischaracterization of earbuds as a headset that launches the voice recognition, so annoying!
So keep monitoring the patterns, see if you can influence it through static discharge/grounding, or screen on/off, angle of audio cable insertion, or whatever. Seems to me like it's not totally 100% predictable though.

Question New Bluetooth connection problem

My P6P no longer connects to my Bose Mini II SoundLink. This is a new issue. The speaker shows up in my list of previously connected devices. It won't connect when I try to use it. I have forgotten the device and re-paired it to no effect. It pairs momentarily then stops my music player and won't connect. It's not an issue with the Bose speaker as it pairs and connects to my Surface laptop. Up until the last week or so I never had any issues, I regularly played music and podcasts on my phone through the Bose. Any suggestions?
Have you tried resetting your Bose speaker? They have an internal max list of devices that they can handle, maybe you maxed yours out.

Try pressing 10 seconds on the power button, if that doesn't work try pressing 10 seconds on power button AND either volume up or volume down, that's about all the button combinations manufacturers usually use.

Thanks, I reset the speaker and re-paired with my Pixel, but still doesn't work. It connects momentarily, never plays any sound, then stops the music player and shows as not connected.

Did all that and restarted my phone and now it works. Thanks
Thought I had an issue like this with my phone two days ago. Seemed my speaker was connected to both my phone and my laptop. Whenever any sound from my laptop came through the speaker, it would stop the music that was playing from my phone. Took me about 30 mins to diagnose the problem, all the while I was wondering how my new phone's bluetooth just stopped working every now and then.
