Help! Main Battery unknown - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development

Hey All,
I've just flashed over Radio v1.00.25.05 and now my battery indicator doesn't work Does anyone know which Radio version will solve this?
Also, when flashing over a new Radio will it Hard-Reset the device or delete anything?
Thanks.

Hmm... don't think it's a problem with the Radio because I tried using my original battery again and the battery indicator does work ....
I think I'm gonna try to put in a warranty claim for this battery unless someone here has an idea worth trying?
Thx.

Radio not working, can't upgrade radio (I'm stumped)

First off, I spent quite some time browsing these forums but I cant find any posting on a problem like this.
I have a MDA Pro and I used to have Radio 1.09, Now it just says No GSM. When I try to update the system doesn't detect my radio version, also when I try updating the radio rom it just sits at 0% progress and then gives a 114 cant update radio rom error.
I've tried using mtty with rtask to reset my radio... didn't work. I used to have the qtek rom installed but went back to t-mobile rom. Didn't work. Repeated rebooting, with or without sim-card inserted. Didn't work.
Is there anyone that knows of this problem and knows a fix for this? TIA.
Have you tried Buzz's sim unlock tool?
Part of it is installing a specially adapted Radio ROM, without the main or extended ROM parts.
I don't know if it will help, but it might just give your Uni the kick it needs. You may be able to get this 0.00.00 version on, then when that's there, you can update to 1.11.00 or whatever you want.
Is that right? Anyone else got a view on what I'm suggesting? Sounds like it might help, but not 100% sure.
Regards
Seeing as I can't upgrade my rom to any other rom, I don't reckon that will help.
Besides, atm I still got the option to go back to T-mobile and get it fixed or replaced, removing the sim-lock will surely remove my warranty.

If it's still covered by T-Mobile I'd take that option, I have a T-Mobile MDA Pro, insured with HomeCare (T-Mob's insurance scheme), called them up yesterday because of a fault; and because it's bank holiday weekend (and I begged ) They sorted it for me to go to a T-Mobile store, pay my excess, and swap the handset there and then.
Slight cost, but fixed my problem (and also got rid of some dents and scratches at the same time)

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A VOGUE ONLINE IT KEEPS RESETTING ITSELF TRIED NEW ROMS AND THE MINUTE I DISCONNECT THE USB CONNECTION IT RESETS ITSELF EVERY COUPLE OF MINUTES...HELP PLEASE..I WILL BE HERE ALL NIGHT
Alright.
1. Stop posting new threads about this! You are not the only one who has ever had a problem like this.
2. Post the link to where you got the original ROM.
3. Give us a DETAILED overview of what you did. The more you leave out, the less anyone can help.
4. Relax, these things can typically be fixed.
I think i have the wrong radio and it wont let me upgrade

can someone post me link to the radio that I need?

OK, so I flashed JB (yakjuux to takju) few days ago and now, my service (Koodo) can't connect to it for some reason. I don't know why, but I need a fix right now. So what I was thinking of was to flash radio that works with yakjuux (or something like that) and hope to God that that's gonna solve the problem.
I tried this SIM card on Nexus S (ICS) and that worked... I tried different SIM (Wind and Rogers) and that didn't read either. I am pretty sure that it's either hardware problem or radio problem. So my first attempt is to flash back to older radio or something that's more compatible with Canadian radio. Can anyone give me link to it?
Also can anyone tell me the problem of this? I did drop my phone before signal going all weird, so that might have been the problem... Any thoughts? I need it ASAP. Thanks in advance
Also just to let you know, when I go to Service Provider settings, Koodo does pop up, but it doesn't let me actually connect to it. It fails every single time...

[Q] Radio (No data connection)

Hi,
since I installed the PACman rom, I hardly get any mobile network connection.
I never had any problems with this, I got a connection everywhere (except at my school) within milliseconds.
I suppose this can be fixed changing the radio (correct?).
Can you post a link to a guide that explains what a radio is?
Otherwise, these are the questions I didnt found an answer for:
- Is the radio installed with the rom or does it stay the same during the installation of a new rom?
- Can an unsuccessful installation of a radio cause permanent problems that cannot be solved by installing another radio or by restoring a nandroid backup?
- What radio should I use? How do I determine which one is best?
- Does the choice of the radio depend on my carrier/service? Some radios have a carrier in their name.
- Can this solve my connectivity problem at all?
New roms doesnt install radios but installs ril's if you can get a better reception on any roms ril could be your problem
I never witnessed a one but in the case of an interrupt at radio installation could brick your phone!
Everyone says its a matter of location based situation which i agree the simplest way to figure out is to installing the newest and measure your battery and reception rates if its worse that your previous one than rollback to another newer radio but remember dont flash ril's on aosp(cyanogen like)roms it will probably cut your connection off
No just the location and the phone matter
I think you should just give other roms a try for example pipelinerArd Unofficial 10.1 is rock stable for me.

If you gonna install this dont flash ril's
and try Getril from playstore maybe that can solve your problem
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zaWJib3IuZ2V0cmlsIl0.
The app says RIL and baseband dont fit, but after the app downloaded and installed something it still says the same.
No you dont need to do it on aosp and aokp roms like pacman whats your current radio ?

[Q] No Service

Hello there,
I've been reading around on the forum for ages now trying to find a solution to my problem, found nothing and see no other way around it than to post my problem here.
I've used the Ace Hack kit to root the phone and make it s-off. Booting up I get no signal /limited service. I've tried to installed Revolution HD and it works perfect except the same error is still there. The phone is reading my sim card and i can see my contacts.
The baseband version is: 12.39a.50.19U_26.06.06.30_M
I live in the UK and I'm using a Lebara pay to go card on the vodafone network.
I'm absolutely cluesless which radio/RIL that could be suitable and all the attempts I've made have resulted in status quo. I beg you, please help me!
It could be several things. First, try using a different sim card - from a different operator if possible.
Sent from a dream.
Update the radio my friend to the lastest one.
Download this one
http://www.mediafire.com/?sjpp75agt3q3u3n
put on SD card then reboot into the bootloader and it will ask if you want to update press volume up. Just make sure you have over 50% battery power before doing this.
Tried a different sim card without luck.
I've also installed the new radio which hacktrix2006 linked to and it doesn't seem to help on the situation though it has been successfully installed.
Thanks for the suggestions, do you have any other? I'm really desperate here!
try cleaning the bottom cover there are some gold point use something to light score it failing that make sure the pins the gold parts cover are making contact as that is the antanna
Hack, do you have a md5 check for that link to mediafire. I might change my radio when I get my service back tonight.. Which radio is it?
i do not have a md5 sorry
What radio is the latest... And one more thing... Will a backup keep my original radio? Or do I have to fastboot flash the original radio I manage to find on the net?

Thanks alot for the tips Hacktrix, I'm missing the cover for the battery thing which also has two of these small connectors. Didn't realize that was an antenna at all, but i guess both of the covers has to be on to get any reception at all. Grrr all this time and it's such a small thing.. I've now ordered a cover and it should be here on monday, will post update on whether it's working or not. Cheers
It will work if thats the case mate.
Okay, so I've received the cover for the battery now. I still get no signal on the phone so far, maybe it's the radio? I've flashed it with the one hacktrix suggested. Can anyone recommend another radio or have any other things I can try out?
Right before we go to flashing the radio again, have you checked the sim card is working correctly.
If the Signal is still not showing even after putting the cover on, then we simply must start right from basics.
Check the simcard does it work in another phone.
Try another simcard
Is the Gold contacts on the cover making contact with the gold clips on the phone.
I know this might sound dumb but its a starting point.
I have now tried several simcards, the one that I'm using in my motorola at the moment that works 100%, the thing is I can also see all my contacts on the Desire, so there is no doubt that the phone is reading the sim card properly. I've tried to bend the small gold contacts slightly upwards to make sure that there is a connection, this does not produce any result either.
Here is all data that I have.
Android version: 2.3.5
HTC Sense version: 3.5
Sotware number: Android Revolution HD 7.1
Baseband version: 12.65.60.29U_26.14.04.28_M
Build number: 1.05.401.4 CL185058 release-keys
Any ideas?

Try this radio
Sent from my Desire HD using xda premium
I don't get that radio, should i rename it to PD98IMG? I've tried that and it won't flash it. As I'm running revolution, which are sense based shouldn't I also flash a RIL? Sorry for the confusion.
Forgot to say you needed to flash RIL after latest radio sorry mate.
lookup for 12.65.60.29U_26.14.04.28_M RIL it should work after
here is dowload for ril
