STAR100 (StrTrk) cooked ROM

Hi guys!
I converted latest Cingular rom (4.1.502.5) from nbh to nb format by Der Hermes Rom Koch 0.99.6.1. Then modified some files and reg-keys in windows.nb, and compiled NB-file with only OS (without ipl, spl, first, second splash, ext rom, finally without radio) and generated a NBH file without any errors.
Filesize of new RUU_signed.nbh is 39*930*145 bytes
But i afraid to flash this new nbh. Can anybody tell me, what can happen if new rom is broken or something else. Is there any risk of bootloader broke? Will i be able to rollback to any official rom?

So, tried to flash, but i got a error on 2%:
"Corrupted Image"

the rom is the rom
pda's dont have a backup of the org rom it came with
and transfering a rom from 1 device to another is not something people just do
less so if it's from windows smartphone to windows pda

No Cooking Tool can create a NBH File for Startrek!!!

Ok, but what if to flash it with my rom with Modified RUU Updater?

i have download it but i dont know how to install it....can somebody help me...?thanks in advance....

1 first run Artemis USPL to allow your phone to be flashed

nbh files?

how do i install/use an nbh file? i looked on the forum and cant find it. please someone either tell me or send me a link explaining how to use nbh files. my computer doesnt recognize the format. thanks.

I suppose you want to upgrade your pda or your phone.
You must use a bootloader to install the file and upgrade your pda. Many bootloaders exist.
For example, I've installed a new ROM with WM 6.1 (from Algasystems) on my iPAQ 4700 and I have used a bootloader that I have found in the thead about my pda (I think I've used MTTY). Than I suppose you can find yours in the thread where you have downloaded your ROM .

To flash .nbh files you need a custom.RUU (Rom Update Utility) .nbh fiels are only flashable to certain devices, i.e. HTC Kaiser, Tilt, TYTNII, etc.
Older devices flash with a variation of this. What is your device type?

Upgrade radio using internal storage ??

i need some help with radio upgrade, i have olinex hard spl 1.40 udk hd beta5
And i want to know if i need to rename radio nbh file to DIAMIMG.nbh or have 1.08.25.20 as it was when i downloaded and extracted it ?? Please help

you can flash it using the vol down / back key / reset button method...
any .nbh file actually... but yes it'll have to be renamed to diamimg.nbh...

HTC Diamond SPL File Extracted From ROM

I've succesfully SID unlocked my Diamond and I flashed the following ROM:
QMR_RUU_Diamond_HTC_WWE_1.93.405.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship
I now want to extract the SPL and flash it from that ROM. I use this tutorial:

It's pretty simple, but the NBH file I created using HTCRT is 528K and it gives me a message that the NBH is greater than default. In the tutorial it says:
9. You should now have a NBH file that is relatively small (about 258K)
I've tried several ROMs, but with the same outcome.
I haven't flashed it yet, but I don't know what I am doing wrong?

Why are you following Kaiser instructions?

ROM is locked from being dumped. The kaiser tut should work isn't it?
