Hi
Does anyone know if a disassembled screen from a ppc can be connected to pc vga port as an additional monitor?
Has anyone seen the pin connections for the screen connector?
thanks.
why? it's very similar to a calculator lcd display, as far as I remember

Hi there.
I was given a BA and when I start it, the display just keeps white.
But I can connect w/ Active Sync and start Soti Pocket Controller and everthing works fine.
Does anyone know how to fix that?
Is it a display problem or just a connection problem?
Sounds like the LCD display is broke. Chances are you'll have to replace it. Cheapest I've seen them for is ~$80
Greetings,
I have built a docking station for my phone and want to keep the screen on during charging. I have looked through advanced config and am unable to find where to tweak the settings.
Does anyone know how to prevent the screen from turning off while charging?

Under Settings ==> System ==> Power
There should be a setting there where you can disable the screen dim / device turning off while on external power.
Worked like a Charm!
I appreciate the answer for the noob question!

Any pics of the docking station? PM me. I was wanting to do a docking station for my car's Tv, but using a TV-Out cable for the TP2
Hello,
my 7 panasonic sensores are not working after changing the battery.
The sensores are:
Panasonic 3 axis Axxeleration sensor
Panasonic 3 axis Magnetic Field sensor
Panasonic Orientation sensor
Panasonic Gyroscope sensor
Panasonic Rotation Vector
Panasonic Linear Acceleration
Panasonic Gravity
When i changed the battery i had also to change the power button / sensor flex cable.
I orderd the spare part cable from e-bay.
Now i am wondering where the sensores are located?
I hope someone can help me find the location of the sensores.
This error is so specific, everything works fine except of the panasonic sensores.
Is it possible that it has something to do with the power button /sensor flex cable?
I have read all the stuff about G-Sensor error and how to reinitialize it, but this do not work for me. My Problem seems to be another one.
I have tried to remove the battery and connect again, but this did not help...
Thanks for help

I am in the same boat, have you found any way to get the sensors back to work again?
Thanks in advance.
ps: I think the power button's cable is the problem because there are two sensors on it, maybe it has to be reattached to the motherboard differently.
Hi all,
I've recently replaced my N7105 screen assembly. I am able to turn the phone on, but the screen remains entirely blank. However, it responds to touch and appears to be working - only no image is displayed on the screen.
I suspect I've damaged a component on installation of the new screen, or have incorrectly connected it to the logic board. The replacement screen was from etradesupply and I imagine is almost definitely not an official Samsung component - is their any chance of driver incompatibility?
I've demonstrated the problem and displayed the connectors in this short video:
[Apparenlty I can't post links! Video is available by searching "N7105 Screen Problem" on YouTube]
If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be very grateful.
Best.
The screen on my fiance's Note 3 is shattered. It has Hyperdrive ROM on it. I thought I could just hook up my mhl adapter and see the screen but no matter what screen mirroring solution I use all it displays is a black screen with a faint Hyperdrive ROM logo in the center. The touch screen is still working and I can turn things on and off sometimes. So it seems that maybe the screen has to work for screen mirroring to work. I've tried an MHL adapter, the Samsung WiFi HDMI adapter and using the adb shell to take screenshots. All with the same result. Anyone know if any screen mirroring methods function with a broken screen and how to do it?
Moved to Q&A. And several tools should allow mirroring IF debugging was enabled. (Don't recall what the solution, if any, was without that.)
