Hi, I have been waiting to update to wm6 until all of the bugs were sorted. I have not looked for a while and now I have come back there are hundreds!
When I originaly looked LVSW, Bepe and AX3L seemed to be doing the most work on their rom's. Bepe seems to have gone quiet waiting for his trinity to be fixed but the ROM sounds good.
I know that everyone has an opinion but can anyone suggest the best rom with no battery or memory problems?

Hi there
It seems there a TouchFlo 2.1 and 2.0 etc.
I have the stock 1.1 one.
Is it a good idea to upgrade?
Whats the difference between them?
I search but I cant find any particular links to an installable file.
Custom ROMs are a lot better, and TF3D2+ is a lot better than 1.1, it looks better and there is more HTC made parts of WM, like texting, calender etc.
(I'm assuming since you have TF3D1 that you are using a stock ROM, so if that's the case and haven't used one before read the sticky's.)
But the TF3D2+ aren`t 100% ported to VGA resolution and there are few bugs mainly in landscape orientation... So it`s up to you to choose to try something new and better looking or stick to the older TF3D1 which is bug free(or at least it should be).
Thanks for the replies so far, no i've used a few other cooked roms and all, in reply to donald-c.
I was just wondering if it was possible to get a stand-alone install of such TF3D 2.0 or 2.1 to install on the stock rom?
Hey guys - I've been reading a lot of news about the Motoblur UI getting ported on the G1 and G2/Magic but haven't heard of it ever hitting our Heros. Anyone know if it's possible to get it working with the Hero? I heard Drizzy is the main man behind all the Blur ROMs.
The HTC HERO kernel hasn´t been released by HTC yet, therefore all the problems when porting roms. ex. GPS, BT, CAMERA, TRACKBALL etc.
Anyone know if there´s some good soul thats working on a cool new HERO DONUT ROSIE?
Thanks for clarifying the whole kernel thing.
the click/tattoo runs 1.6 and also runs touchflo....of course, it is in QVGA, but at least we know it's out there somewhere...
stock with nothing added or removed and with bugs fixed and without WM6.5 style menu and IE8. If anyone has it please share. Thanks

I don´t think any chef is actually cooking yet for Excalibur, since it´s an old (and beloved ) device. That said, I don´t think there will be any VANILLA version. However, you may try ALEKSS´s rom.. is the closest to a vanilla rom that you can get... and it works pretty well.. Personally, I´m a 3vo addicted..

the icons of startmenu in both cooker's roms are kinda pissing me off
I just need a plain professional look in a standard WM6.5 rom. Just like lovebabyjing's but I guess the network settings in love's rom aren't matched with my GSM. (its GSM 850 @ 2.0GHz). While AlekSS's and 3VO's work perfect, I cant recieve a phone call on love's rom even after downgrading to every radio version possible :/
Does anybody know or think that the new Nexus S update will translate to the AOSP and fix the CDMA splitting bug that has fundamentally plagued my experience with Cyanogenmod and MIUI ? god i hope so because i really like the stock messaging app look:/
