8gb sdhc battery drain - JASJAR, XDA Exec, MDA Pro Accessories

is the 8gb sdhc eats to much power? will it significantly shorten the battery life? i have here a 1620mah batt of Jasjar, not an extended battery definitely.
if i'll be buying a 4gb sdhc, is the battery consumption the same as that of an 8gb sdhc?
thanks guys!

[Q] Good replacement battery for DHD?

Has anybody tried this one?
Search for "2430MAH HIGH CAPACITY BAS470 GOLD BATTERY FOR DESIRE HD" on ebay.
Any good suggestions for replacement battery?
I have just bought this one:
Andida Battery For HTC Desire HD Ace 1800Mah
Didn't know there also where 2430Mah ones
These high capacity batteries are all BS. It's not possible to fit that much extra capacity in a battery of the same size. Very few of these third party batteries are from reputable companies and safe to use. All of them are around the same capacity as the original stock battery. There's a 1500 mAh battery by Mugen which is the max you get I guess. These 'super high capacity' batteries are actually the same capacity as the stock one or probabaly a little more. You won't notice a dramatic increase in battery life as you expect, and sometimes they have worse battery life than the stock battery.

+1 on the high capacities being BS. I got a replacement 1600mAh battery for $6.99 delivered off eBay and it works fine but doesn't hold a charge much longer if at all than my 1230mAh stock battery.

New battery

Hello all,
Just a quick question, I ordered a new battery the other day (2450 mAh) and it only charges to 80% before saying it is full. I'm sure that even though I'm on stock kernel I should be able to run a larger battery, so I'm assuming the battery is faulty.
Could anybody give me clarification on the biggest battery size you can run on stock kernel?

Do a battery calibration, google it.
I lot of the 'unbranded' batteries with optimistic power capacities have no regulations around what they state the 'real' usable mAh life of the battery is.
I'd be very surprised if the battery gives you longer usage than your original 1700mAh battery.
I'm guessing it'll probably be considerably less.
There is no limit to battery capacity within the limits of what you can physically fit into the recess provided for the BA900 battery.
Mugen Power can only get a 1900mAh battery in that size... so that's something to consider when you think about a 2450mAh battery.

3500/4000 mah battery?

Do you think we can ask LG to create a battery of 3500/4000 mah for our devices? I am now using a cover of spigen which increases the thickness of the phone approximately 2/3 mm on the back.. if this could be used to create a battery with 3500/4000 mah capacity would not be bad .. the Mugen has created a battery of 3100 mah pretty much useless (original costs less and has only 100 mah less) and one of 6200 mah that makes the phone horrible!!

No. Just no chance to get a better battery capacity. You can find some products with more than 3000 mAh, but it's not recommanded.
Also, there's another solution with a spare battery and the charging cradle (LG BCK-4810).
You can ask. They won't listen. Would love to see 3500 or 4000 be the minimum capacity in the future with options for 6000.

Yup, I would like better battery than super powerful processor with 4Gb ram and stuff like that. There's no point having a PC in the pocket with such a poor battery life.

Bigger capacity battery for Note

Hi everybody,
I would like to know which battery I can buy has the biggest mAh capacity while fitting the same size as a original battery. Dont tell me batteries that tell they are 3000 mAh but in reality they are 2500 mAh and last the same as a original battery.
Thanks in advance

Any high capacity 3rd party batteries for the Tab 8.4?

Hi all
Just wondering if there is a higher capacity battery for the 8.4?
I know a lot have problems with battery life and extra juice would be good also
Thx
Batteries have real physical limits if they're going to be their real, stated capacity. There's no magic technology that makes a battery higher capacity while still being the same space. That's why phone batteries that really have higher capacities need extended cases. Since you can't do that with a tablet, you can't have any real high capacity battery.
So you're left with powerbanks/external battery packs. They do work well but be sure to get a name brand like Anker or Aukey if you want properly stated capacities. They make slim ones that should be about the size of the tablet if you want to hold it while it's charging instead of having a brick by your side.
