Hey guys, I installed ghetto ppst file along with the epst file from sprint to speed up my gps lock times. after installing them I am constantly in roaming mode. and gps is just as slow as before. is there a way to get out if roaming mode? has anybody on the Bell network had the same problem?

So I read carefully unlocked my phone then updated the rom to enable GPS. Its working good in most programs (google maps, windows live) but not working for nav4all or gpstoday. Any Idea's
I am also roaming in my local area, tried *228 but no luck. I am on alltel, anyone know how to fix the roaming issue?
got the roaming issue working for the time being just *228 then activate. Now I have to figure why gps only works with some apps???

Hi i'm not sprint user, i'm using different provider in my country
i have 3G all the time (doesn't have LTE here yet), voice call and sms working. But my 3G speed is really2 slow, somehow my speed is capped to 50kb/s normally i can get 200kb/s in my area. i have samsung s1 CDMA here with same provider and there's no problem. i ned patch for custom ROM but not with stock ROM
Some said that because sprint lock my EVDO if i'm using different carrier. The carrier provider here not to friendly so i cannot ask for their help :laugh: . is there any way to unlock that?

Doing a little research, my AN-AAA status is pending in DEBUG. I already tried LG service Menu to set "undetermined" but somehow the setting is not stick, after reboot, the 3 option there just blank are that normal? my parameter for data stick tough
APN modifying not helping, what ever i input i still have 3G

Im on roaming and need an app/patch to enable download booster in samsung (uses wifi+data connections to download at same tiMe) in both on carrier and roaming.
When roaming it forces me not to enable this feature. Instead forces wifi use only and to automatically keep download booster disabled.
Is there a way round this?
Anyone to help me with this, i dnt knw knw who or where to exactly ask this.

Because of the structure of the cell networks and virtual providers I am always in "roaming" mode and cannot use download booster. Any suggestions?

Same here, I'm roamming but I have a good roamming offer from three network, all you can eat data, but it's slow wille roamming, and I have a wifi connection witch is still slow, I wan't to combine them to have a little more speed, but I get the same thing when I try to enable download booster, not allow to enable in roammig, I'm not scared of data charges, I am on a pay as you go plan. Any way to enable download booster wile roamming?

In Canada Roger's seems to allow download booster while roaming on other Canadian carrier networks but still restricted while roaming outside of Canada.
Was looking for same thing. Guess only way to fix it would be to change the csc from rwc to xac or bmc(being that bell is the travel sim partner). Not sure what mta does.
Hi, my dad is having a problem with his galaxy sm-t211 that I can't seem to find a fix for, I haven't even been able to find mention of it. His tab is unlocked. He is using his fido SIM chip with it. He gets data fine, but it is constantly in roaming mode. Even when I turn roaming off, it says that he has lost network connectivity because he is out of his home cellular network. Does anyone know if this issue is fixable. Maybe by flashing a modem for this region or something? Any and all help appreciated, thanks
For some odd reason I can still get SMS and Calls but I cannot connect to the internet except through Wifi. I noticed while on the play store that I don't have a Carrier[1] even though i'm obviously registered with Verizon Wireless.
I attempted to find the APN settings although CloudyG3 Completely re-arranged the network settings and I can't find it. I found something similar[2] under the mobile networks[3] tab (Settings> Tethering & Networks> Mobile Networks> Network Mode) but i'm not sure too if that is APN or not. (If someone knows please let me know)
I had Full LTE connection available yesterday before I flashed CloudyG3. I also had this problem when I attempted to flash Jasmine 7.0 and failed. My friend fixed it by doing something with the location services but I'm not sure what it was.

TL;DR LTE is not activated, can still send SMS and Voice Call. Phone is not registered under a carrier.
Enable Data Roaming and see if that works.
