[Mandatory] Rules for Original Development-Forum

THIS FORUM IS ONLY FOR RELEASING AND DEVELOPING "ORIGINAL" ROMS, KERNELS, RECOVERIES.
"Original" in this sense are only ROMs that are compiled from source and contain significant and original modifications, so official versions of AOSP, AOKP, CM, Paranoid Android, and Team EOS ROMs are allowed. This decision is to be made by moderators.
"COLLECTIONS", "GUIDES", "REFERENCES" AND "LIBRARIES" BELONG IN GENERAL SECTION.
Try to keep the development forum CLEAN! No offtopic posting and no questions.
Use the report button in an offending post to let us mods know we need to take action. Dont take matters into your own hands!!!
Sources need to be posted for all kernels!!! Also for all ROMS where license demands it.
You need to use TAGS like [ROM] or [KERNEL] and so on as used in all dev forums throughout XDA
Any disputes between developers should be handled by pm. No public posting in a dev thread regarding these matters
Rom issues should be discussed within their respective threads
Thread titles should ALWAYS coincide with ROMS ALREADY AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD!!! No advance notification of incoming ROM through thread title. A changelog for the yet unreleased Rom can be included in the OP or in another post CLEARLY MARKED as EXPECTED CHANGELOG
Posting in the development section means automatic ACCEPTANCE of the above Rules
All posts that are NOT about ROM development, or development in general will be closed or deleted and posters that will choose to disregard the previous guidelines will be infracted.

Q Why a special Q&T Thread for a specific ROM??
A The bigger a ROM development thread gets, the greater the chance that posts are being placed in this thread that are not related to the ROM development itself, e.g. problems with flashing, installation, bugs, things not working etc. However this is understandable, it's not according to the guidelines of XDA for Development sections. Therefore the main goals of the ROM specific Q&T threads is to avoid this cluttering of the original develpment thread with these OT posts by redirecting the posters to the ROM specific Q&T thread and also to relieve the developer from answering these post, so he can dedicate his time to developing.
Q Where can I download these ROM's and How do I install?
A You can find the links to download and installation instruction here or here .. Pay close attention to this post, everything required for a successful flash is listed right here. If you fail to follow the instructions or meet the requirements for installation, you could run into some problems.
Q How’s battery life?
A see this question asked repeatedly across all ROMS. Honestly there is no way to give you an answer based on a ROM. There are too many variables in question and results vary from user to user and device to device. Battery life is going to depend on age and condition of your battery, your use habits with your device, installed apps, tweaks, settings, etc...

A Ask your questions and report your issues in this thread. You will receive a response and hopefully get you back up and running this ROM to its fullest
