My hardware buttons stay on very dim all the time even when the screen is off and the left phone button flickers when the keys are fully lit. Ok I can send it back but no way will I settle for a refurb. Any suggestions?
Is there is any other way to turn the screen back on other than pulling the stylus, hitting the power button or sliding the keyboard ?
I'm wondering if there is any software that turns on the screen by shaking the device or by any other means like holding it upright or tapping on screen you know??
The button on the top of the device?
well I'm still not used to holding it in one hand and try to reach the upper button with my finger, even the back cover slips off sometimes when I'm pressing the button. They should have picked another position like the call button maybe, something easier to reach.
I use a software to turn off the screen by putting the device in my pocket upside down, I found it so practical. but couldn't find a software turns on the screen yet
Maybe you could try this.
Is there anyway to reduce the delay on the lights of the capacitative buttons when you click them? For example, on stock once you press one of the buttons, the light stays on for a little after it has been pressed. I want the lights to dim right after it is pressed. Is this possible?
Has anyone had a problem with the capacitive buttons not lighting up? The back button (on the right) does not light up at all anymore, and the recents button on the left only comes on if I am scrolling on the screen. Both buttons work, just not always lighting up
I'm on my second Note 4 and neither one have I had any issue with them lighting up.
Not sure if this will fix or help, but in settings->display the option "touch key light duration" will allow you to choose how the capacitive buttons light up. Maybe check that setting out and see if you can get anything to change in your situation. Good luck!
The right capacitive backlight is blurred and no clear white like the left one ,where is very bright (clear) white , my device got problematic capacitive button's backlight?
My right capacitive button's backlight is not white but its closer to purple(bluish colour) maybe its normal.
Not being completely white is normal (as the light is not on full power), but they should be both the same.
It seems something is physically not perfectly aligned in your device.
There's nothing you can do sadly ... You can request a new device if it bothers you.
