I downloaded the alltel rom and i dont like it so i want to go back to the original sprint rom. How do i go about doing this?
search PPCGeeks Vogue Upgrades forum for instructions... i don't have the link, but the instructions are there. i used them to return to the original sprint radio and ROM and then to the Sprint version of the WM 6.1 ROM.

I've decided I can't wait for the 8925 to come out, so I'm heading to the AT&T store 30 miles away to pick up an 8525. Naturally, I'll want to flash it to WM6 and do some other playing. Also naturally, I'll want to return it when the 8925 comes out so I'll need to return it to its original condition. I can find plenty of cooked ROM's as well as official WM6 ones, but no official AT&T WM5 ones. Can anyone point me to a link?

I'd download it soon, as nobody is sure when HTC is gonna change the download to the Official WM6 Release. You might get lucky when you get to the AT&T store, a few people who got newer 8525s got ones with wm6. anyway, good luck
Anyone have or point me to the T-MObile UK stock ROM so that I can flash back if I have any problem with any cooked roms or stability issues..

link to main page just 'cos it's a handy page to bookmark. go to 'shipped roms' find your rom either in settings device info etc for extended rom version or at boot screen

mate, do you do any searching? the address i gave above, i just opened it and changed the Artemis at the end to Kaiser and hey presto. the info/rom you need will there somewhere look for shipped rom and make sure it's the right version as above

hey i just successfully flashed my t-mobile dash to Rickys v24 Rom. But i have been searching on how to flash the original tmobile rom back onto the Dash with no luck. Can sumbody tell me how to do it?.Thanks

i already downloaded the official rom just cant seem to flash it to my dash. theres no installer or anything
You can goto http://www.t-mobile.com/wmupgrade/ and download the RUU installer from there. You'll need your mobile # and IMEI. I think if you press *#06#, should give you your IMEI or look behind the battery.
I want to go back to stock rom for my Diamond GSM US version (bought from Amazon). Where can I download the correct stock rom? The Hong Kong WWE stock rom doesn't work and complain about "Invalid Model ID". Thanks!

That is the ROM. That is exactly what came with your HTC Touch U.S. 3G Diamond. I have the same one. That ROM was Dumped by
princeasi for that reason. If you have updated your SPL and want to go back, there is a sticky on that subject.

You'll find it, with instructions, here.
Notice that there's also a radio cab there...the stock 6.1 ROM there (the only one available anywhere right now, as far as we know) does NOT flash you back to the radio version that came with it in your originial ROM...you need to flash back to that separately. However, you don't have to do that if you don't want to. If your call/data connections were better with 6.1 then you probably should flash back the radio too....if they're better on 6.5, OR if you notice no difference, then I wouldn't bother with the radio.
yep, if you use the search button on xda in the rhodium section and search for cdguider rom or even just cdguider you should be able to find it easily.
It is just the rom, no radio rom is attached.
