It's the same as Release 9 - but with slightly newer components... The available storage is slightly higher than Release 9. I'll get round to screenshots later, however the only changes are detailed in the changelog.
CRC, as ever, excellent work, but why have you split out 9.x and 10? Is it because 10 is using a newer shell version?
(by the way, back on R9, not had a single lock up AT ALL in 24 hours of moderate to heavy use).

The reason for the split can be seen in post #3 of the development thread. Basically, while build 19209 seems to function perfectly for me, there seems to be a lot of people who have nothing but issues with it. For those people who have issues, it makes sense for me to offer something that is known to work for everyone.
The split also allows me to have a 'bleeding edge' version for people that want the latest and greatest in everything. All changes will be made straight away to the Development build, then when proven stable, will get added to the stable build. This includes updates in included software.
I believe this offers the best of both worlds - the people who want to test things can get the latest and greatest, and the people who need reliability can get something proven reliable.
IS IT OKAY to go FROM WM6.1 back to WM6 WITH NO issues?? I wanna try a 6.1 ROM, but I'm scared that I wont be able to FLASH back to my WM6 Rom(vp3G's WM6 v3.62 AT&T ROM) Does it work like that? Going back and forth between 6.1 and WM6 ROM's?????
I've been using CRC WM6.1 for quite a while. I usually flash Vp3G first before flashing an updated WM6.1 ROM. I haven't had a problem going back and forth between the two. BTW, Vp3G was my first WM6.0 ROM. Since then I have tried a variety of WM6.0 and 6.1 ROMs. Make sure you are using hard SPL.

I'm HardSPL 100% 2.10 oli To The MAX!!!, I just wasnt sure if u could go back and forth between 6.1 and 6.0

I can see they can't keep a good ROM down..
I tried all of your ROM's up until r10
r 9 was a master piece, and i'm hoping that r 9.1 holds up.
r10 as i mentioned and as others have also mentioned, resetted my phone, pretty much made me lose all hope for the ROM. I've flashed so much that when that happened, i immediately felt that it was very very unstable... not like r 9.
With this r 9.1 and you releasing as such, gives me the confidence of r9 with hopes that it may have some similarities to r10 ( as mentioned earlier, it was very smooth and stable until the hard reset)

how did you manage to enable the IRDA and get it working on your 6.1 WME ROM? if I'm not wrong, your ROM is the first one that has IRDA working in between all other ROMs based on 6.1 version.

can anybody confirm that skype works ok?
i'm downloading for test, but so far all 6.1 i tested have sound skyping problem. i try not to go back to ancient roms just because of skype problem.
tried to put settings from official htc 6.0 with a2dp twaekewr but no luck.
sometimes it works but usualy sound start to skip!
any idea?
Rom flash failure
I've just installed this rom on my HERM200, nevertheless, spl detection fails everytime.
As I don't know which version I have, so I choose "SPL ... new bootloader" (safe doesn't work), it works until it reaches 100%, then, after a while it ends in error, and the PDA gets stuck in 100%.
As I follow recover procedure, the PDA does not hang in red and green screen, just goes all the way as if the rom was successfully installed, actually it is working perfectly.
I've tried this with PDACorner10 as well, but I have the same problem.
What am I doing wrong?! How can I make a successful install?

I noticed that happening. I can tell you when the SPL detection fails, i usually chose go with safe spl etc.
But when i did a flash of the HTC_WM6_ATT rom link available in forums. and then flashed w/ r9.1 i didn't have that problem.
My conclusion, that when you flash w/ a cooked ROM you may have th

with normal way Extended_ROM (not melted in) and nonetheless lots of memory.
It was built with Hyper Core Kitchen based on the famous Schaps 3.54b Lite German release.
So please feel free to flash. This is an OS only ROM.

Are you sure you flashed the one in THIS thread (bigstorage) and not
the one in my other thread (superstorage) ??
The one in this thread shows 3.54 in startscreen as it is modified
3.54 base. The superstorage rom shows 3.60 coz it is hybrid rom
with 3.60 base as of superstorage patch is only working in 3.60 base.
Please doublecheck if you didn't post in the "wrong" thread...
Can you please give me details on your storage memory, so we could
see at once what rom you flashed...

with "cooked in" german HTC Home and AudioManager which will be

Changes to release schedules
Due to the fact that a lot of people are having issues with newer, less tested Windows Mobile builds, I have decided to split the development of my ROM into two chains. These chains are the Development chain, and the Stable chain.
These chains will be defined by release numbers. Odd release numbers will be stable builds. Even release numbers will be development builds. From this point forward, Release 9 will be the first stable build under this method. The next update to the stable build will be 9.1, 9.2 etc. The first development version will be Release 10.
When the development release becomes of a stable quality by the majority of people testing the ROM, the ROM will be frozen and development will stop. At that point, the final development release will become the next stable release. For example, when Release 10 becomes stable, it will be called Release 11. Release 12 will then become the next development release.
To make things easier to understand, the PHKv12 will be removed, and all ROMs will be referred to by Release number.
So what does this mean for you? If you require your device to be stable, or have issues with the Development release, use the stable build. If you would like to test a more bleeding edge build, then try the development build. If you run in to troubles with the development build, please post in the development thread so the issues can be looked at.
NOTE: If you cannot have your device crash or do weird things, only flash the Stable build - DO NOT use the development build if you rely 100% on your phone.

The new ROM so far looks really great. I have just installed it and still testing.
One thing I found out is that I am not able to do any changes in Sounds & Notifications. I am able to choose a different ringtone for example, but I am not able to click the ok button after doing changes. When hitting ok, nothing happens.
Well, maybe I am just doing something wrong.

This is a known issue (See post #2). I'm working on a fix for this now. Should be fixed within 48 hours.

it's easy to fix a2dp and all the bluetooth ..
copy bth_a2dp and bth_hid from your previous official rom that working into this SYS 6.1 rom ..
by the way, i haven't try to do my own 6.1 rom yet hehe .. just come to see ..
becoz u invited me to see and test on your rom .. probably, i will use your rom soon but ..
i wonder if u keep .rgu in there .. bepe kitchen seem doesn't work on my device ..

Congrats!!...where'd you get the base rom???...I've got TNT.133 tweaked so well, that I am loath to change anything(altho I've got a nice backup of everything. So Here's the question....
WHY upgrade from 6 to 6.1?
Is there a head to head, feature by feature comparison anywhere?

I tried to use MobileRegistryEditor to edit the registry remotely, and received access denied errors. The usual HKLM\Security\Policies\Policies keys are at the locked values, and once I changed them all was good.

Right first impressions; Very quick, clean, stable ROM (like most 19213 builds)
Things that have to change.
1. AT&T first splash screen. Please change back to how it is in V11+ etc
2. Must change dialer, it is truly awful! Use this one as this is probably one of the best available. Plus I think it needs to be cooked in to have the 3G video call working properly.
3. Oh yes, I nearly forgot... that comm manager has to go as well! Please use Schaps 6 button coloured one.

anyone able to get the Cellular_Video_v2.cab to work with this rom? ive tried medianet settings and regular connection settings with and without proxy enabled and i get an error that i need a 3g phone? does something else need to be set so at&t sees my 8525 as a 3g phone.
After further testing the Calculator did not work until I installed NetCF3.5. So you may need to cook that in as well. Aparrently it increases the speed of the phone slightly as well.
Everthing else so far is good.
31 MEG FREE at startup. Which is the most I've come across for a long while.
Nice to see battery 1% increments as well.

after i installed this rom i am not able to reformat my Hermes any more, when i arrive to flash screen where the mobile should restart on bootloader i got error 246, and if i start manualy on Boot loader and i flash it, it stop on 1%,
what shoud i do in this case?

Problems with this version, plz help!!
I am desperate, PLEASE HELP!!
I have to 2 flames, none is working ok, in the first one I can´t use PHONE conection, in the second, I do can use phone, but can´t sync to pc, or use gprs networks.
I even prefer the original wm5, but can get it back.
How can I clean everything and flash them back to original rom? and had them like I had them right out of the box?
is there any possible way to really clean my ppc? every time I put a new version for WM, I continue to have the same problems with BOTHS FLAMES!!,
I had them in perfect condition before I first flash (My frst flash was this version of 6.1
this is frustrating, and no one has been able to help, PLEASE!! I beg you!!

** Alright guys, i'm sorry to tell but i'm ceasing WM6.5 development until HTC releases an official WM6.5 rom (either it be Topaz, Tachi or Rhodium)
I'm now focusing on creating a more stable, day-to-day usable WM6.1 ROM called Gen.Y D2. Once the WM6.5 rom is out, it will be released in that thread. Hope u like what u saw here, u can always use the kitchen to update builds etc.
This is actually my personal ROM, but since alot of people out there are looking for a WM6.5 rom with TF3D2, i'd thought i share.

Be advised that this is a BETA rom, so bugs may be present.
IMPORTANT:
* After flash, it's best to HARD Reset your phone (on boot, press Volume Down + Center button), to be sure that the rom is fully initilalized (less bugs!)
* If for some reason you can't access WiFi option in CommManager, either hard reset OR enable WiFi once through settings->connection and then soft reset
Known issues:
- EzInput 2 SIP Menu isn't working (to change to Phone Keypad, install the attached cab and soft reset. To revert back to Full QWERTY, uninstall and soft reset)
- To change xt9 language, see this post
- Call buttons within Manila don't work (requires Topaz Phonecanvas, which isn't ported yet to VGA)
- Minor scroll issues (can't scroll to bottom) in Contact Card (Call Log and Delete/Forward Messages) & World Clock view
- Click on missed call in notification screen takes you to the windows default call log
- Clicking on All Settings in the Settings Tab takes you to Connections setting
- Clicking "Send Contact By Message" in contact card crashes/restarts TF3D2
- Some minor graphical distortion may appear when selecting a different band in the CommManager Band Switching app

Hi,
I suggest you include HTC phone canvas (slide2answer and with In-Call-Curtain) in this ROM. Though phone canvas conflicts with WM6.5 home screen lock, one can disable it with AdvancedConfig. Or you can set it as disabled by default, a user can enable it if he wants to use it (e.g. me ).

1) you can't, it requires the new Topaz/Tachi Phonecanvas which hasn't been ported to VGA yet
2) well it works pretty good, perhaps even faster than Diamond manila
just letting know that the ROM is almost ready to be released, i'm going to test it for a couple hours to see the effect on RAM, release will probably be this evening

I've been dreaming about a WM 6.5 and TF3D2 rom all in one. This seems like the best of both worlds because while TF3D2 skins most of WM 6.1, the places it leaves out are the old Windows 3.1 style and 6.5 brings a nicer GUI and some nice enhancements too!
I hope your test are successful because I would love to throw this onto my diamond asap. Backing up my old files now just in case!
