After I run EnterBL.exe I saw screen on my UNI such as USB or SERIAL on top of screen and v1.00 on bottom of screen.
Propably I should run something on a PC but I run Radio upgrade only 10600 for some reason :roll: and now all I can see is QTEK splash screen with information like radio version etc... and that is all
What I can do now?
I tried to run the new T-mobile ROM (because it originally is mda-pro from t-mobile uk) but there is connection problem...

So, thanks to a friend, I got a beta release of WM flashed on my Hermes a few months ago. I didn't realize that it was a time-limited beta, and I can't use my device anymore.
Current Status --
1. ActiveSync can't connect to the device, so can't use RUU directly.
2. Similarly, I can't use the CID unlock utility, because it requires an AS connection
3. I can access the BL and connect to it from mtty. I see the USB> prompt.
4. Dump of the BL tri-color screen --
HERM200
IPL-1.00
SPL-1.10
5. Dump of "task 32" command in mtty
Level = FF (i.e. CID locked)
Hence, I can't flash BL 1.01 MPG and install an OS. (nor can I install CID unlocker, see #2 above)
6. Dump of "info 7" command in mtty
HTC Integrated Re-Flash Utility, Common Base Version : 1.50a S024
Device Name: H, Bootloader Version : 1.10
.....
Question --
I want to get a working OS on the device. (With that, AS should connect and I will be able to CID unlock the device.) Any ideas?

i put a hermes ROM on Elf (soft black) and i think the SPL and IPL has changed
its now:
IPL 1.17.0002 ,is it right ?

and i tried to download the Offical HTC elf Rom but after 2% it restart and write ID Vendor ERROR
what should i do?
P.S:i tried to do SuperCID but it need The ActiveSync Progoram to be ON, im stuck on bootloader Screen

According to the help, it enables "Enable ATCMD Log", "Enable RIL Ioctl Log","MARM use UART","MARM use USB","MARM use SD", I don't know their meanings.
4. Reset device
then my diamond stuck on bootloader screen, i reflashed the rom and it doesn't help. I am sure at least the hardspl works.
can anyone help to unbrick it?
I'll repeat the same here as on MSN so it's useful for others maybe:
if you dont know the meanings why are you playing? I know you have MFG SPL, so warning here, if anyone wants to play like this, make sure you have MFG SPL installed first because then it is easy to fix the problem. (non MFG SPL : still possible to fix but then you'd have to flash a file via lnbs command, a bit more painful.)
basically, you have to set the flags back to get OS booting; in MFG SPL, using mtty or qmat, simply send the following command: eraseconfig
PS: "MARM use USB","MARM use SD" -> these two are not a problem, one of the rest is what ****ted OS (not sure which). and, when you set marm use USB / SD, windows mobile will not have access to them (but SPL will), so that is kind of pointless.

I've been on this board a few years now and I have never even heard of htc debug tools. I also don't know its purpose so I wouldn't play with it, period.
I made a big mistake,
2. Set [5]Debug flags to '435' as Wrong:0b110110011Right:0b10000110101
3. Set [8]Radio Flags to '1795' as Wrong:0b11100000011 Right: 0b1011110010101
the field in debug tools is intepreted as in hex format.
BTW, I confirmed "MARM use UART"(Radio Flags to 1xx) may stick the mobile.

I had some trouble with my diamond, the touch screen is no longer working so I have to send it back to htc, now I have to restore original rom and spl.....
I installed olinex 1.40 and the last original italian rom 2.03....
Now I downloaded my former rom (1.93.772) from italian server, I installed it and everything seemed to be right, (I can't check it because the diamond blocks me at the aligning screen, the touch screen is broken and I can't start the phone...the aligning screen appears to me forever and there's no way to bypass it)...
Then I downloaded the original spl 1.93 from your server...I cant use active sync because I can't start the phone so I have to work in boot mode.....I followed carefully the procedure, that is quite easy, but there is no way to remove the olinex 1.40, the process starts, it reachs 100%, but when i check the spl is always the 1.40 olinex....and restore original spl...I try also the usb trigger mode, with the spl putted as dimndimg.nbh...
Please help me!!!!!!!!! I' going crazy!!!!!

I read everithing and now I'm a sort of diamond technician, but I cannot solve this problem, I can only flash in bootloader mode cause the telephone cant initialize windows, it' blocks in the aligniment screen and can't go on, so maybe the bootloader mode isn't strong enough to by pass the write protection of the 1.40 olinex and overwrite the hardspl...HELP HELP HELP
I'got the same issue, you have to install a rom !! and use ActiveSync in order to get the SPL1.93 ! I think in bootloader mode, you can't change the SPL!

Freaky, I have the same issue it will not remove no matter what.
HTC have sent mine back, they say the HardSPL 1.40 OliNex damages the mainboard and causes touch screen failure! They want £230 for a new one
If you find out how to remove let me know, I've flashed all sorts and no luck it still says it.

PS) I have activesync working with a failed touch screen (stuck on the align screen window), copying and running stock 193 in /internal doesn't change it. When I try:

In order to switch from 1.40 to 1.93 HARD SPL, you must you the jump spl program. It's in my signature. Also read the txt included for the instructions.
Let me know how it goes...

First plug phone into computer via active sync....
Then:
Copy the following files to the Diamond root directory
"Copy JumpSPL.exe & "copy SSPL"& sspl-1.01-reloc-mod.nb
Then: "execute Diamond SPL now - screen may trun black"
Then: "run DiamondCustomRUU.exe to flash any HardSPL

Copy means either to right click and select copy to then past it to the root of the diamond directory or you can choose to drag this file to the diamond directory. Then continue to copy the other files.
Another way is to just start with the Diamond-SSPL.exe file and it will tell u to copy these files one by one. Make sure that you are activesynced prior to started this.
What I mean is WHAT IS sspl.exe
It's not in your magic zip file.
And when I find it, how can (I / We) execute it with failed touchscreens?

You must flash in bootloader mode and run ROMUpdateUtility.exe in "C:\ROM" with file "RUU_Signed.nbh" 1.93 version in his directory (C:\ROM).
Use Windows XP and cable miniUSB original and Activesync of course.
1)Use Activesync conected.
2)Copy ROMUpdateUtility.exe and RUU_Signed.nbh (HardSPL 1.93)
3)Enter in bootloader mode
4)From "C:\ROM" run ROMUpdateUtility.exe

mmmm, Ok. What problem!
Why remove the 1.40 is so hard?????.....why flashing in bootloader mode doesn't bypass the overwriting protection?? why olipro is not answering my private message?
