This work is just an edtension to Jugler's work which he has already posted hs kitchen.He has really made it so simple that anyone with average cooking skills can cook a ROM.Here are the steps, if any one needs
-Download Jugglerskitchen from here h**p://www.r*pidshare.com/files/47189318/Juggler_Samsung_WM6_Eng_ROM_Kitchen_0.1.rar.html
-Just use dumprom cmd and make dump of modules
-Use package tool to make OEM and SYS
-Manipulate/Change in SYS/OEM as per the desired result
-USe boot.rgu and boot.hv from any working Samsung i710/718 and place it in ROM/XIP folder
-Run Build OS tool, to et the dump
-Now RUN Build ROM cmd to make imgfs from dump..and Flasher ROM sunsequently
Flashing :
-Execute the blue exe file, and select "Detect"
-Disable all the things in Async, mean all, USB,COM etcetc
-connect the USB data cable to phone, after putting it off
-when connected, hold down the D Pad down direction and while doing so, power on
-Flasher will automatically detect and flash, Eboot, and ROM.
-After Flash Do hard reset by pressing Call end and Call accept buttons+power ON

Rom cooking tutorial for hx2000 series
We will need:

1. Open the program hx2000_tool.exe
2. There are two buttons: unpack & pack. Push unpack and select the nbf file of your rom. From extraction we take the nk.nba in the same folder as the nbf file is. put this file in mamaich tools folder
3. Now we will use mamaich tools.
Open a command prompt window and go to mamaich tools folder. Then run:
prepare_imgfs nk.nba
viewimgfs imgfs_raw_data.bin
And now we have the Dump folder with the extracted rom's files.
4. With this commands:
addfile(filename)
delfile(filename)
we can add or remove files.
When we finish all changes that we want to do we use the command:
buildimgfs
5. After run the command:
make_imgfs.exe nk.nba
6. We execute again hx2000_tool.exe to pack the new rom.This time we select pack(we must move the nk.nba back to the folder of the nbf), we check the option Pool size and we select from the list the pool size.
7 Correct the crc
For this we use the PEID program. Run PEID and select your rom's nbf file. Push the arrow on the lower right corner and select plugins -> crc32. Appears a small window.Enter the crc of our rom(for sp33752 the crc is E7A8B309) in collumn New crc. Check the "Overwrite mode" and press Fix.
8. The rom is ready for flash to the device.

I don't know if you already tried this but I read in 4pda.ru(from what I understand cause I don't know russian and I use wordlingo for translation and its not good) that someone with 2190b succeed to flash with this way:
He run the ruu utility from sp33003 and when pass the check he replace the EPAKROM.nbf with the nbf from wm6(first rename it).

WM 6.5 rom cooking newbie
Ok...I am trying to remove as much unneccesary stuff off the wm6.5 rom for my iPAQ hx2410 as possible like bubble breaker,etc. I dont really know what else I can remove witout hurting the whole system so I am wondering what else I can remove that can make it lighter...also I want to replace windows media player with core player but I only have the cab file for core player and when I try to build it, there is an error...How can I add new programs without these errors??? Also, I followed all the necessary steps posted above except the last part with the peid file i was supposed to download...It says it was a virus so I found an updated Peid but i didnt see the option to finish that last step..I am very very new at cooking so anything u can advise me about doing so would be helpful..THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!
Is there a semi-specific list of files which are safe to remove? I followed the steps and I have a dumped ROM, but now that I can play with the files, I don't know what to remove without destroying dependencies or killing the functionality.

You must make your device SuperCID using POF tool. Since you cannot get activesynch working, I think you have to go into booloader mode.

There might be more ROM with different .nbh files but have not tried them. Unzip the file and locate the nbh file which should be the largest file.

If you can get into bootloader mode and change the ISL to 1.11 via USB interface you can also FLASH any rom by going into the bootloader mode. The same tool ROMUpdateUtility.exe in the unzip ROM folder can be run...
hi all, i am a beginner with windows mobile and i am currently using a Asus P535 windows mobile 6 OS. I bought the set in Hong Kong but unfortunately i forgot that the language cannot be changed back to English. Now i am having a lot of problems with the chinese interface.

i have run it in my asus p535 ...
it says ROM language ID: 404 (i think it is 404 too fast u couldn't see), now unlocking....
after that noting came out...
i try executing it again ....now it says my ROM language ID:0 , but my ROM is still HK00 , changing it to WWE MY00 is difficult, different region, different language.
does this mean it worked ? how do i continue ? thanks so much

Do you have a *.cap file (official Firmware)? If so, do the following
Download this.
Run "P535RomTool.exe -d6 AsusP535.cap" on command line.
Note 1: AsusP535.cap has to be in the same dir as P535RomTool.exe.
Note 2: If your file has another name, take the right one!
Copy the resulting GalaxyII.nb0 file to a clean SD Card.
Run ASUS.UnlockLangId.exe on your p535.
Perform power+photo+record+reset

P535RomTool not run
Hi,
I have a big problem, i cannot run the P535RomTool.exe
when i try to run it, the black window pop up for a mili second and then nothing happened..
I have installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en. I have Windows XP SP2. what I have still to make it to run this tool? Plaese help me!!!

create a folder on your desktop named x or something else... copy original rom and p535romtool.exe in this folder. open command line via start/run/cmd or start/all programs/accesories/command prompt. than u'll see c:\users\username.. than type cd desktop and enter
after that u'll see c:\users\username\desktop
now type cd x and enter
after that u'll see c:\users\username\desktop\x
now type P535RomTool.exe -d6 AsusP535.cap
and enter...
it will convert your rom to nb0
copy this nb0 to your sd card and follow the instructions below....

Thanks a lot buddy. It converted the file into nb0 file and i have downgraded my p535 from wm6.5 to wm6.0 successfully.

I hope this post will help all noobs by giving the most important guidlines for upgrading the ROM, CID unlocking and upgrading SPL & IPL
Please follow the instructions exactly in the order written
1. READ THROUGH XDA-DEVELOPERS.COM.. TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH YOUR DEVICE BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANYTHING SUGGESTED OUT HERE.... This is very important and might save your device
2. Try and find out what to do if something goes wrong.. Its highly likely that something will go wrong if you do something wrong..
3. Now if you still think you want to upgrade your operating system (Windows) then do the following step by step
a) Download the required SPL & IPLs from the forum.. you can find
the most suitable ones in your respective device fora
for elf and elfin you can checkout these threads

b) Read carefully through those threads
c) Unzip the zip archive containing elf_uspl.exe and other filees
to your computer's c drive
d) Connect your device to your computer using the usb cable.. and in
your device go to settings and open usb to pc tab and disable
advanced networking capability
e) Make sure that the activesync is enabled(appears green in the try)
f) Close any application running on your device and make sure that
your device battery is atleast 50%, disable hibernation and screen
saver option on your computer
g) Open the folder you unzipped already and run the file with a name
which looks like elf_uspl.exe and follow the onscreen instructions
h) Now your device is CID unlocked successfully (your device screen
should go white and then you should be able to see a penguin logo on
your device screen.. if that doesn't happen then you should repeat
the process.. THIS STEP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE.. DO NOT AT ANY
COST PROCEED FURTHER IF THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN...
i) Now run the RUU(ROM UPDATE UTILITY). This can be found in the
unzipped folder(open the unzipped folder and you will see another
folder with a name RUU
j) Follow the instructions on the wizard..
NOTE: DO NOT DISCONNECT/RESET YOUR DEVICE BEFORE OR AFTER THIS
k) Wait for the wizard to finish its job.. do not inturrupt.. If the
wizard gives any error then please hard reset your device(hold down
call & hangup buttons together and push soft reset button and keep
holding the buttons till you get a warning message on the screen).
Restart the whole prpcess again.
l) If the wizard completes the update successfully, then your device
will re-boot..
m) You can hard-reset your device now.
n) Now your IPL & SPL is successfully upgraded and you can move on to
upgrading the Operating System
o) To upgrade your OS you need to search for and download the
appropriate ROM from this forum.. you will get plenty of ROMs
floating around.. so pick yours and extract it the root of one of
the drives on your computer.. Open the unzipped folder.. connect
your device to your system.. follow all the precautions already told
and run the RUU found in the folder.. Follow the onscreen
instructions.. Do not intrrupt the process..
p) If the update wizard gives any error then repeat the whole process
q) After finishing your device will re-boot and you will have a new
device in your hand..
Do not forget to thank all the hard working guys here who made all this
possible.. and please donate to the developers and hackers..

One more important thing before CID Unlocking
Sorry guys I forgot to add a little detail...
Before you try to CID unlock your device you need to download and install these 2 small .cab files on your device.. this step is a neccessary one for ELF n ELFIN
you can download these files from here
first download and install this Cert_Spc.cab
And then download and install Enablerapi.cab
DONT FORGET TO THANK AND DONATE TO XDA-DEVELOPERS

Read below for updating ROM through sd card
1. First CID unlock your device and flash the coocked USPL & IPL as instructed earlier
2. Copy the .nbh file (THE ROM .nbh) to the root of your storage card and rename it as ELF0IMG.nbh
3. Turn off your device and now hold the CAMERA button and POWER button together and keep them pressed and now push and leave the SOFT RESET button with the stylus and release the other buttons when you see the bootloader screen..
4. Follow the onscreen instructions and choose the appropriate option.. thats it.. your devices' ROM will be updated.. soft reset or hard reset your device after this..

I decided to write this guide because I found difficult to run USPL because the files in USPL folders not work...
The procedure works on Windows 7 and Vista... On XP does not guarantee since I do not use again because in my opinion is outdated...
After this small beginning premise driving:
0 - first if the phone is locked and cannot boot exceptin boot mode, download an official rom, for example

and installing it. After that the phone should start... least to me it worked...
1 - Download the files for USPL.
The first folder http://rapidshare.com/files/284853186/arte_uspl.rar
and the second folder for the no size USPL http://rapidshare.com/files/284853603/arteUSPL-nosize-cmon.rar
2 – Unzip the .exe file of a ship original rom (A link can be found in section 0). Just click with the right to go on "Extract files" and save it on a place easily accessible... For example, the Desktop...
the following operation must be do with phone on wm home screen!!
3 - open the folder of the USPL first file and then go, "start_uspl.exe" after the operations in the DOS window, the phone turn on automatically with a monochrome screen that can be white (as in my case) or other colors ..
4 - Just close it appears ROMUpdateUtility...
5 - Go to the folder extracted from the official rom and replace the file "ruu_signed.nbh" with "RUU_USPL_signed.nbh" found in the first USPL folder...
6 - Join 'ROMUpdateUtility.exe "and do the requested operation...
7 - If the operation is successful at the end of the installation the phone will reboot itself...
8 - Open the second USPL folder that of no size USPL find the file "RUU_Signed.nbh" replaces in the original ROM folder instead of "RUU_USPL_signed.nbh" made in section 5... and let go, "ROMUpdateUtility.exe" and make the required operations as before...
9 - Now you can install the ROM that best suits you...
