Hi,
I thought I had forgotten the password to my old account (this one) and created a new account which I've used for a while. But I have now got back the password to the old account, so is there any way to delete the new duplicate account, or should I just leave it to lie fallow?

My friend, logon "easyride" was instructed to renew his password.
Since then he can't do any of these:
You may not post new threads
You may not post replies
You may not post attachments
You may not edit your posts
He cannot alter any of his CP
upload, download or sideways.
He's contacted the site via the 'contact us' page but no replies.
Any ideas on how he gets back on the site please?
is there a chance he has been banned
ive just checked the member list and theres no easyride name
is it possible he hasnt actually registered properly
Just spoke to him and he says he's has no mails from XDA apart from the one to change his password. He used to have same logon/password and XDA no longer allows that so he changed it when told to - then no priviledge.
inthat case id suggest you pm falr and ask if she could possibly delete his account so he can start afresh or he can open a new email a dn then make a new account

Your friend didn't confirm his e-mail.
He should check the spambox of his mail account and confirm it.
Otherwise he should contact the Site Admin: Flar.

I used a HTC universal and wizard, but I've sold them both. Therefore I would like to close my account, but how is this possible? I couldn't find the option under user control panel.

You can either scroll to the bottom of a page and click contact us and then from there ask to have your user account deleted or you can just stop using the site. You might as well just leave the account and stop using the site as you never know in the future you may get a new HTC phone and wish to return.
You raised a very important legal question, & believe me you will be answered very appropriately by XDA management as I have found them to be very law abiding people.

Hi Pieter,
I can remove your account if you send an e-mail to the webmaster account ([email protected]) requesting the removal of your account including your username and registered e-mail address. Please note that this will not automatically remove your posts, if you need your posts to be removed as well please explicitly ask so in the e-mail.

Hey, anyone know how to contact the titanium dev? I lost the email with my license file, and i had to format my sd because my old ext app partition was causing some issue with 2.2. I tried emailing joel (where the paypal payment is sent) but he never replied. Its been a week. I already donated money, i really want the license back.
As a side note, anyone know the email that the key was sent from? I keep everything, so I am at a loss to explain what happened to the email containing the key.

the email should be clickable from the market link, did you go into pay pal and look at your receipts?
Check your PMs for his email info.
(Just did it via PM because I wouldn't like it if people went posting my email address all over a forum)

Very cool.
I've lost my password for my original account and I deleted the gmail account it was linked to. Now I have to start over as a different user and can't post in development forums.
Anyone else ever do something this stupid?

I bought 2 games for psp of psn back a few years back, n wen I got my vita couldn't remember my psn id or the email I linked it to lmfao xD just pm mod wit ur old account info they should b able 2 help u
Hello. Previously I used sneakemail for my mails. Now it's a paid service and I use it no more. So I have no access to the mail I set to my xda profile.
Can I change it or a mail confirm is required? If so, can you please change it for me? My new email address is**************************

Your best bet is to PM @MikeChannon with your request to help keep your personal account information offline directly to the Administrator.

I changed it for you. As said above folk can contact me to have this done but you can also change your email address in user settings:

However in your case it would have been a problem as you had an unused account from 2016 already using the email address you gave. I deleted that account and updated your current account with the email address.
