So my phone is soft bricked and pushing the stock rom through odin isnt working. and could anyone give me a tutorial on geting cwm up on my phone as nothings coming up at the moment in recovery mode
I'm going to overlook the fact you already have another thread open that you were using to solve your problem i know how frustrating it can be to have a borked phone.

Hello everyone I have a questions about OTA.
I recently rooted my phone (n7100) using exynos-abuse and installed spenboard switcher by copying the .apk in the /system/app folder everying is working fine but now i get an OTA notification, download goes without any problem but install fail (tried 3 times).
I don't think the root itself is the problem since i got an OTA after rooting but before the installation of Spen board switcher without any problem.
The status on the device is still normal so i'm wondering if the installation of the .apk can be the problem (i made a try after removing the .apk but still no succes) is there something I miss ?

im in the same boat as u i guess, got the update downloaded but wont complete update keeps researching for an update.
rooted stock rom as well.
i think we need to go samifirmware and re download the stock rom flash via odin, but we will loose all data???
Flashing official ROM with Odin won't erase data. though i highly recommend backup, in case you get bootloop you may need to wipe.

Hi
I have a galaxy note 2 N7100 and have been installing custom roms using my windows pc for several weeks now.
I have now purchased a mac and I am very new to these system so does anyone out there know how I go about uploading the downloaded rom onto my external sd card. I have tried three different rooms but when I try and install them on the phone it fails every time.
I can only presume that I am doing something wrong so if anyone would be kind enough to give me some instructions how to do it I would really appreciate it.

I had the same trouble downloading some ROMs on Ubuntu and it misses out the last 100mbs or so..
Of course then the rom won't install properly..

You can try to download a new custom rom and check the md5sum at first.
A friend has a Mac and there is no problem. He downloads and then he transfers the file via Airdroid to his phone.
Ok guys, so I have an issue... After installing the latest TWRP for the Glide, I found that I couldn't flash a new ROM or zip file. I kept getting a bad zip error, even though it matches the exact size of the one downloaded from the PC.
My main question is, can I flash a new ROM through ODIN?
I know its a last ditch effort, but I'm sitting here looking at my semi-restores\d phone hang on the Cyanogen Mod boot screen.
Anyways, please help me guys, I seriously messed up somewhere.
PS. It won't allow me to flash CWM on my phone, keeps giving me Bad Zip error

Before somedays I was using INU-I9082XXUBMK3-4.2.2 rooted firmware then i switched to RR, CM and others.
But now i am back on official I9082XXUBNG3_I9082ODDBNG1_INU rooted firmware. but after flashing this firmware i observed problems on my device like the display goes OFF and ON automatically while i switch on the phone as well as when i am in recovery(both stock as well as Custom).
Unfortunately i am unable to find the exact cause for this, faced this problem on stock as well as rooted firmware. Its very irritating while using recovery.
Please help me to solve this issue.
