Anyone know a good stopwatch / countdown timer app for wm6 (on an orbit)?
Need to count up (or down) to 30 seconds, 1 minute and ten minutes
Try Conduits Timekeeper
Not free though.
$9.95 but does what I need it to do .... and more
SBP Time should do the Job!
Try this. It's a exe file i found many time ago, but i continue to use it at today.
I use smalltime - hopefully link attached.

It use to be free, so there maybe other sites available.
Thanks for the suggestions. I like 'free' and stoptime (newer version) does the job nicely

Hi everybody,
first of all thanks to TOM for his B&B 4.1!!!!
As you can see i'm using that wonderful ROM and i like it so much!!!
There is something that i'd like to customize, but it dosen't depend on the TOM's ROM, but it is related with WM in general.
Any time that an appointment or a task is Notifing me there is the opportunity, through the soft key on the left, to postpone it throug a specific delay. Is there any possibility to customize that delay instead of the percomiled 1 minute, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, etc?
Thank for your answers!!
Cheers
WHY????
Why would you want 2 do that, would you want to snooze it for more then a day? (task rescedule?).
I dont know if its possible, probably you will need a 3rd party app for this. Tries looking into pocketinformant or another agenda/task app?
Just Coz...!
It's a fair question - I've often wished I could snooze a task by a specific amount of time - 40 minutes, 50 minutes, and 1 hour 20 minutes, etc.
As a PocketInformant user, I'm fairly sure it simply interfaces with WM6 standard alerting, bringing up the normal snooze intervals. Certainly if it can be done, I haven't found out how!

Of course its a fair question, i was just curious...
But do you want to alter the options or make it so that you can choose to put in the specific snooze time?
i'd like just change the "specific time", even better if it's possible to chose how much to postpone .... i think 5, 10 and 15 minutes are quite similar, i need something like:
- 15 minutes
- 3 hours
- 8 hours
- 12 hours
- 1 day
thanks guys!!!

For my taste it would be nice to be able to do both, I guess, with a little bit of 'stickiness' so that the last couple of custom snooze times appeared alongside any 'standard' snooze intervals I have configured.
It's handy for those times when you know you are going to be out of a meeting in 25 minutes, or your SatNav is telling you 1 hour and 10 minutes to your destination...not a killer app, but handy!
Exactly!! How could you do that?

Ahhhh, that's the million dollar question! All I can say is that I don't believe PocketInformant will do the job.
HI - first post so please excuse any errors - Does anyone know of any software for my HD that will record GPS positions over time ? (at regular intervals etc) - I do a lot of longer distance running and would be interested in carrying my HD for a run to record distance, speed etc from the GPS. Also for walks etc - which I can then analyse later (ie prob record GPS positions at set intervals etc)
Does anyone know any software that will do this for me please ?
I'm using trackr to record my bicycle rides; works like a charm. The only drawback is that you have to leave the screen on.
Another possibility is trip tracker sportsmate
yes they look great thanks - will give it a try
track your run/walk etc
try smartrunner from http://www.smartrunner.de
its german, but freeware and absolutly the best i´ve ever used....
and i´m running many kilometers a week ;-)
grtz

This recording of running around seems to be a German thing
you need a GPS program
I recommand: GPSmeter 5 or GPS Tuner
thnx all - will try them out
Try GPS Cycle computer, fantastis program and the schreen can be off

TrackMyRun.mobi is also great.
Here's the thread over in the Diamond forums: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=473623
run.gps
Run.gps is incredible software. It is absolutely the best software I have on my phone. Heres a few of its features:
1. You can plan routes on google earth and export them to your phone. Then it will display the route on your phone and you can even tell it to read out the directions of the route during your run.
2. It logs the position of your run, which can be viewed in google earth after your run.
3. It can read out to you anything you want during your run. eg. I set mine to tell me my speed, average speed, distance to the end of the route and time to the end of the route every 2mins.
4. It saves all of your training plans - giving a report for distance run, calories burnt etc. You can view these in a weekly/monthly format to see how much you have been doing.
5. Screens are customisable. You may not want to view a live update on a map as you run, you may just want to see your speed, distance run, calories burnt etc...So you can set the screens up exactly how you want. Theres a function to keep the backlight on during use so you dont have to keep pressing the on button during your run.
6. It can be used for loads of other sports not just running.
7. Can be used for interval training and marathon training.
8. Buying the software gives you membership to a site where you can plan/ view your routes and other peoples. As well as view all your training plans.
9.The software is totally finger friendly.
10. You buy the software in a bundle with a 'tune belt' neoprene holder which is pretty good for the Touch HD.
Anyway, hope that helps - I really recommend the software and theres a free trial for a certain period. I tried it before I brought it.
Regards,
Richard

Hello!
I have decided to develop my first application after I fell asleep a couple of times with the radio on and drained the battery on my Blackstone. The name of the application is “Close Process” and can be used to program a process to be closed after a certain amount of time or closed it right away.
Additional information:
- If both the hours and the minutes are set to 0, the process is closed right away.
- The application can be minimized.
- After a scheduled process is closed, the application closes itself.
- The actions are placed on the buttons and in the menu because I haven’t decided which way is the best
- The application proved to be useful also for closing processes that were not closed properly
- The application has been tested only on my Blackstone
- The application requires Compact Framework 3.5
- If the device is suspended, the application stops running and will resume when the device is awake.
This is only the first version. I am aware that the application can be improved and I'm working on that.
Hope you'll find it useful! Also, any feedback is appreciated
UPDATE:
v1.1: Added option for "Screen Off". This means that when choosing this option, the application continues to run with the screen turned off and will save battery power. the option can be found in the menu.
Sounds awesome even though i dont need it somebody will and if it works your has done a good job.
Version 1.1 released. I've updated the first post.
Interesting app, could you consider adding option for not only close the precess but restart it? useful whena process keeps crashing for any reason.
Thankyou
Just wanna send you some appreciation. I have an HTC HD2 and this little application is awesome. As far as I know it is a one of a kind application. Tested last night. Thankyou very much virgilp.
I'm happy when someone likes my app. Thank you, Agoattamer
FIANLLY...and, Thank you, of course!!
I have been searching for something like this for days now!! I have an Xperia X1 running WM6.1. I love to listen to satellite radio at night to fall asleep. But, I could not find anything to serve as a sleep timer to turn the application off. You are a God send!!! Thank you a million times!!! I will play around with this app and provide any useful feedback I can.
Great Work! Wonderful Interface. Works like a charm!
Thank you for the great app. Please let us know if you develop any more apps with the Sense interface.

Great apps
I used to have a Symbian phone and got a handy apps for closing process in what time i allot.since i've got my omnia 2,bi have been searching a Winmo equivalent ,but without success until now. this is exactly what i need !Thank you a lot!
Cool App
Found this rooting around the site, and kinda wonder why so few have utilized or tried/commented.
Installed on my TMo TP2 running 6.5, Sense 2012, and while it does'nt show ALL running process it shows what can be sheared and definitely memory savers. Using now for about 3 weeks and enjoy it's simplicity and fundamental application wonder how to get this shown again sure some others would enjoy as well. GREAT APP, thanks.
I'm looking for a basic countdown timer for the TP2 - e.g. for cooking and short-term reminders. I've tried Conduits Timekeeper but for some reason the alarm doesn't sound.
A free solution would be a bonus - can anyone recommend something that's tried and tested with the TP2??

I use a program called G-Watch. It does a countdown, as well as a stopwatch.
I attached the file, and it's free.
Thanks - this looks great. I have just one question - do you know if there is a way to tell it to start in Countdown mode by default (rather than Stopwatch mode)? I can't see this anywhere in the options.
I only want to use it as a countdown timer, so this would save me a few clicks every time I wanted to use it.

I tried to see if I could switch it, but I don't think it's possible.
Greetings to Developers & Moderators.
I am using Raphael 300( Windows 6.5.x ) and I prefer using the windows Home Screen rather than using Manila.
I humbly ask you all is it possible to make the clock ( small round analogue ) alive and work equally along with the digital one on the home screen.. I have attached a picture along with this post to make the concept clear..
Thanks and Regards to every Moderators and Developers
Hi bonnyinqingdao
The little analog clock is only an image, search for "Titanium skins" to find something close, not what you want exactly. Good luck!
Feasibly, I could make a program that every minute it updates and creates a new clock image based on the Time, however I am not sure how the homescreen works exactly (in terms of refreshing). Refreshing the homescreen every minute would be both a pain and inconvenient.
If someone knows how to update the image every minute without inconvenience, I would be happy to make the image-maker
Cyclonezephyrxz7
60 images X 12 = 720 it's a lot of work !!! Refreshing Titanium takes 3 to 6 seconds, every minutes it 'll happen, the whole device will be devoted to doing only this thing

I wouldn't save the images to the phone. Not all of them atleast.
The program would have a base-image to work with, and it will load it, then draw a Line on it with Graphics.DrawLine() for the minutes and one for the Hour. I already know the formula for degrees between hands for every minute (it was an Extra Credit Final Project in my Geometry class two years ago )
However, if Titanium doesn't update that often, then it isn't all too worth it...It would cost more resources than it is worth That, or someone can just make a new CCLock Panel (I don't know C++ well enough, so I can't do that)...
Right, I didn't think about changing the arms only
There's already an analog clock plugin somewhere....
