[PTG] Portuguese WM6 Rom Release [26.09.2007]

Please remember i can´t speak Portuguese!
- thanks to all cooker´s for the great work and all the roms!
I made a Portuguese WM6 Rom! Rom Based on OS 5.2.1620 Build 18125.0.4.2
Now a full version is online!
Betaversion bug check build!

Tantos meses a espera da rom em PTG, e depois de tantas tentatives falhadas por minha parte, hoje cheguei a casa e tentei novamente e finalmente consegui por uma rom inglesa em PT.
Mal eu sabia que estavam a tentar aqui no forum cozinhar uma!
Ja estava todo contente de ter conseguido o que milhares de pessoas queriam e venho aqui postar para disponibilizar para todos e qual o meu espanto...
Alguem chegou uns minutos mais cedo do que eu e ate parece que ja existe duas,
Hoje foi o dia oficial HTC P3600 em PT, so pode tantos a conseguir!
Paciencia, fico feliz pois finalmente conseguimos!!!
E se alguem tb quizer testar a minha vou postar aqui daqui por um bocado!

Very briefly:
He's saying that tried to cook a Portuguese ROM for long time and never accomplished... until today.
But when came to forum to post his ROM, he saw this one.
Anyway he will post his ROM in a while

How did you translate or fixed the Language

White screen
Hi,
I have the "white screen" problem after flashing this ROM.
I tried this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311180&page=4&highlight=white+screen.
No success... Anyone had the same issue?

Put in bootloader (cam+power+reset), flash WM5 official 1.23, and after finish give another try. What flash u had before?
PS: Didnt tested this version, but tried the other WM6 ptg, and since I was using a WM6, update crash at 12%, so i had to flash wm5 and flash again the wm6 ptg. Not sure if this is same problem with this version, but might help.

Portuguese HTC Home Plugin

Here is Portuguese HTC Home Plugin UPDATE (translated from original) plus Weather cities of portugal.
Please note that you have to install original HTC Home first and you must have a PTG (0x0816) wm6 ROM.
Original world wide city list was totally replaced by portuguese cities only so it's better to backup original HH_0816_WeatherCities.xml first.
Original file posted here had a bug so i had to correct it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Well, first of: Please, if you're gonna write portuguese put on the "english subpictures"... (forum must have... and I'm seeing this complain all around the forum, including threats [from the moderators] to shut down people who insist on the subject...)
Bom, em primeiro lugar, se você vai escrever em portuga, põe as "legendas em inglês"... (exigência do forum e eu estou vendo essa reclamação para todo o lado, inclusive com ameaça [dos moderadores] de cortar fora os que insistirem...)
Second, point is they use accuweather, which is the same source of the Firefox weather plugin, so "good" that they put Brasilia to the north and most of time the climate does not convince (changes too much). So, I don't see that as a reliable source of weather info, even with the right city. I pointed that out to Accuweather some months ago and they did not fix it...
Segundo, o ponto é que eles usam accuweather, que é a mesma fonte do plugin de tempo do Firefox; tão "bom" que eles colocam Brasília lá para o norte e na maior parte do tempo o clima não convence (além das previsões mudarem muito). Então, eu não acho que seja uma fonte confiável de previsão do tempo, mesmo que a cidade esteja certa. Eu avisei o Accuweather do problema meses atrás e até agora não resolveram...

hi mate from portugal i install this cab file and all citys appear but when i turn on the internet it try connect to get the weather and dont do nothing and the original that came with my rom works but have a few citys only from portugal can you post an updated cab file that works please tks

Well maybe. First a stable PTG rom and then the WWE. After all it's easier to make a wwe with the latest updated os and the latest apps!

What do you think about releasing something similar to pandora, a kitchen with only a clea base rom(PTG or WWE) and release a bundle of cool packages.

Bem antes de tudo á que reconhecer o facto de elaborares uma rom em portugues..muitos parabens..eu nao percebo como se faz
Segundo nao quero k leves a mal as minhas criticas..apenas que te ajude a estares mais perto da perfeiçao..

INSTALAÇAO + BOOTSCREEN+ SPLASHSCREEN
Bom processo de instalaçao.. a rom instala bem rapido e o processo e todo em portugues, boa imagem de processo
Terceiro splash screen , o do windows mobile 6,nao gosto, penso que consegues meter um muiiiito melhor..os outros 2, simples e lindos!
Today: normal..detesto a hora no upper bar, da para tirar mas prontos..
HTC HOME:
Um ponto muito negativo, cidades portuguesas resumidas a 3, porto, lisboa e amadora..para rom portuguesa..quer dizer..cado mau para quem viva em portugal, tem k fazer tudo a unha quando ja existe o htc home em portugues.
Se precisares arranjo-te numa boa, so dizeres..
PROGRAMAS:
Adobe reader LE da sempre muito jeito principalmente a mim que ando sempre a visualizar ficheiros adobe.
Gestor de audio- corre bem sem problemas
Messenger..maravilha!
Notas: funciona perfeitamente!
RSS HUB: bom programa! adoro a aplicação da jeito quando andamos a navegar por wifi.
Windows Live: podias desinstalar..
Streaming media: excelente
Calculadora: detesto a skin, consegues arranjar melhores.
HTC album: em portugues, embora dispensavel para mim é sempre um ponto positivo!
Resto normal
No meu ponto de vista é desorganizada pois ta tudo a monte, podias organizar do estilo do finixnover..mas isto prontos..sou organizado..nada de mal nisso

Boa skin, era a que usava. nada a apontar.

Incluir uns programas melhores e mais organizados assim como dispensar outros.

O meu objectivo nao foi deitar-te abaixo, ate pk reconheço k deves ter tido um trabalho muito tramado e muitas horas, mas sim ajudar-te.

* remove any OS apps or components (Error report, Windows Live, Windows Update, etc)
* change visual themes of original ROM (Welcome screen, Program folders organization, custom themes, ringtones or skins like calculator or htc home)
* Add any other programs but the original ones
* Avoid patched files (HTC Home w/ accuweather patch and PTG cities)
* Add freeware that upgrades in every week!! If you want freeware, install it - That's what cabs made for!
Anyway there are some patched files:
- Kaiser Phone Dialer (original doesn't work on Trin)
- RSSHub includes XDA-Devs. General and Trinity Forums RSS in the main list!!!!!!
Honestly, I've made this rom because HTC didn't made it for trinity and I'm sick of flashing my phone with "personal" roms.
I've left RGUs in ROM for other developers to build PTG ROMs with PIMbackup and other great freeware, change colors and themes, remove OS components, etc.
However, tell me more about the issues on HTC Home. What do you mean with:
* "we can't choose what we want to see and organize" ("HTC HOME: nao da para escolher o que queremos ver e organizar, aspecto muito negativo.")
* "HTC Home: you get the messange, opens the keyboard SIP "carregas" and you go to phone" ("Recebes mensagem abre o icon do teclado..carregas e leva-te ao telefone")

HTCHome issue:
Go to -> settings->today
have only 2 separators at bottom, one for appeareance another for items. Isn´t it supposed a separator for HTCHOME included? normally in other roms that i have,here is one where we can customize little things like: order of items, organize/rearrenge items (today,weather,favourites, rings,mediaplayer).
Yours HTCHome dont have even mediaplayer.
Message issue:
When i received a message, a notification came (normal). When i saw/ touch i notice in the keyboard icon in the lower part of today screen of course. Load there and the phone open. (dont understand really what happens thats why i told you.)

About the phone not working:
i just installed Schen's kaiser 3G dial over yours. This cab needs to be instaled along with "OEMSign2007cert.cab" or it won´t work... maybe because it has included new battery and 3G icons or maybe for other reasons... my point is, if schen´s 3G dialer works ok there's little reason for yours not to work. Anyway, the phone works for incoming calls! Thank god!,because when i found out about this bug i was already out!
It's working perfectly now!
By the way, the third separator for customizing the home screen is not in any official rom. I own both Kaiser and Polaris and none comes with such screen.
The diference in the Polaris rom is only touch flo and cube which sincerely is good for nothing on a day to day basis!

Thanks aamaro1971 for posting.
As soon as i detected the bug I removed the link to avoid users having a phone that simply cannot make a phone call. This is really an hard issue!!
About the tools, I couldn't send it by email because of an error (my outlook and/or email provider refuses to send zip, exe and cabs!!). Anyway I've posted the how-to in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=360200 the way to do it (read the last post).
It would be very nice if you could extract the rom for us!!
I'm working on a solution for now.

No Kaiser 3G Dialer for now
I can't include Schen's Kaiser 3G dialer in the package so I cooked a version with original HTC Hermes dialer which is awfull - but is the original one...
Honestly I keep trying to figer out where is the problem with the Kaiser 3G dialer.

A ideia de publicar uma rom com o dialer original do tytn i arrepia-me... No entanto, é para já a unica estável que tenho. I've already tried but still no use. Added CAB: \windows\dialed.cab into config.txt but autorun fails to install the cab (i think it's because the cab asks for destiny install folder which it's incompatible with lock command in the config.txt).
There are two Schen's 3g dialer: one that installs in \dialers and other that installs in \windows. The second one is the one that doesn't work. I've also tried to include the first one with a xml with copy file operation to create the folder \dialers but once again it doesn't work.
I believe there's a problem with certificates but i've also tried to include OEMCerts2007 in package and still not working.
Right now I'm uploading (90mins) the nbh with ugly original trinity dialer. Anyway it's better than the pretty one that is useless.

I couldn't install. when i was upgrading, the progress bar stop about 80%, and freezes. i don't know what to do know... I'm trying to install from SD Card cause the RUU didn't work to me, but when I thought that I finally had found a solution (installing from Storage Card) I got this error, anyone can help me?

i assume that you already flash the HardSPL first, maybe try another RUUupdateutility!

ROM Leve, Cool, Simples mas Muito instavel...!
Instalei pela segunda vez e pela segunda vez estou com problemas, da primeira depois de instalar "WM5Storage " bloqueava ao tentar carregar o TouchFLO, agora é a Cam só aparece riscos !!! Para nao falar que nao consigo Sincronizar com o ActiveSync4.5 no OS winXp sp3...
Para mim acho que a Rom Mais Estavel e a (Manila2D_Black_V14_WWE) so é pena e nao estar e portugues

pra ja, a rom so tem um problema k sao as mms, k nao dao.
mas a camera, e o k foi referido em cima ta tudo a funcionar bem..
vejam la s arranjam uma soluçao pras mms k dao jeito.

Peço desculpa mas eu acho que foi coincidência a Cam deixar de funcionar correctamente desde que instalei esta ROM (agora so funciona em baixa resolução e com zoom activo em pelo menos 2X!!!.
O Meu TyTn (Qtek9600) funca bem com a rom original 6.0 em PT. tanto no Vista como no XP...Só a CAm e que não esta boa sempre!!!
O mais importante era que funciona-se com o ActiveSync 4.5. ou no Vista...

This rom is made from Windows Mobile 6.1 and includes Sense 2.5. The default language is Portuguese.
This Rom is made for speed and stability. I have been using amazing GEN.Y and tweaking it to remove unnecessary files for foreigner languages. After a lot of work and great feedback from other people I decide to created all in Portuguese. I think the rom is quite stable, so I'm marking it as final version. The next version will come out with sense 2.5.2012, there is still a lot to do so don't expect a new ROM soon.
I would like to thank ervius for his VisualKitchen, yozgatg for is excelent work on GEN.Y.DX2, amarullz and others for manila port... Keep the good job!

Thanks, let see if it is usefull for PT users. I'm testing and translating new sense 2.5.2012. Once it is stable enought I will post it. First let's have some feedback from users, it will help to catch bugs.

Just about to download it and will install it in the morning!
Hope it enables me to have navigon working without being mandatory to uncheck manila due to memory issues!

This ROM it is tweked and optimized for memory, but Sense is a memory eater, so expect some reboots, if you need more Ram you should stick to sense 2.1

By the way.....what the hell is PAGEPOOL????

Creio que estou a fazer algo de errado no MTTY.
Quando se faz o último passo (o que reinicia o PDA) é suposto esperar até aparecer o cmd» novamente?
Ou mal o PDA se reinicia...deve-se desligar do cabo de imediato?
Já flashei 2x a ROM...e o que se passa é que o relógio do manila fica sempre na mesma posição...nunca se actualiza.

About MTTY you should disconnect cable after reboot and start flashing. I've notice already cloch bug, just click clock, change citie, OK, change city again and it will be OK, no more clock hang.
Sobre o MTTY deves desconectar de imediato o cabo e iniciar o flash. Sobre o problema do relógio, já o tinha notado, clica no relógio, muda a cidade, muda novamente para a cidade original e o problema desaparece.

I've notice SMS problem, still trying to find what is the problem, it may take a while, there are some tweaks on sms's.
Já notei o problema do sms, ainda estou à procura do problema, mas deve demorar um pouco pois existem alguns tweaks sobre os sms's.
