So heres the deal,im not sure if its my phone or if this is normal.Im going to try and sum this up quick and not post my usual day..
I am a service tech for a water company here in central Florida.I am the only tech for the passed 3 years so I get the brunt of all service in FL..My normal rout 4 out of my 6 day work week is about a 75-100 miles(per day) radius from central florida and all is well when i return home..But on Tuesdays and Fridays I travel to Jacksonville and at times south Georiga.
All day im able to make calls, stream music, text, send MMS,use facebook etc..But when i Return back home to Apopka FL(pretty much Orlando) I lose all connectivity. It doesnt say I have NO SERVICE but i have 0 bars and it shows the 3g symbol but its not active. So i lose my cell service and all data..It happens every Tuesday and Friday. And today being Tuesday yes I have no signal and no data..
I usually have to update my profile(which doesnt always work) but eventually it will stick..Im sick of it and I do not want to do this twice a week for ever.
What should I do?
I would call Sprint and have them test your connectivity where you live. There may be something they can do for you.

my friend told me that when he went to sprint a few days back ( i do live in hawaii on thr island of kauai so im not sure howreliable this info is ) that they said they would have 4g in all areas by new years... this sounds amazing since i live on a tiny island that gets movie 3 montha later than the mainland. to good to be true i bet. has any one else heard this rumor or know of a media outlet that migbt confirm?
Let's get a list of known good and bad (in your experience) Sprint stores with addresses for other people need to get their phones serviced. Explain why you were there and why you do or don't recommend them.
I don't have any cuz I haven't had to return any phones or get anything serviced. I will have some input tonight though when I go to take my phone in because of jacked up /data partition.

This place has some great people, that will really work with you to get you that phone you want/need. Just don't piss them off or annoy them.
We only have one corporate store left in town (actually in all of North Alabama I think) and they do a pretty good job of being informed, courteous and helpful.
The store is located:
Madison Square Mall
5901 University Drive Northwest
Huntsville

My favorite location when it was still a corporate store is now a third party dealer. In all honesty I've only been in once to drop off a couple of devices for recycling so I haven't dealt with them or seen anyone I used to deal with in days past. However I have no reason to believe they aren't still a good place to go for (non-corporate) Sprint needs.

An official sprint store I love would be the one off of carmel valley road next to oggis in san diego I will update with address later. I have never ever had any problems with them. They are freaken awesome. I go out of my way to visit that store when I need anything like a refurb or whatever.

The ones I've visited in Tampa are okay (Northdale & South Tampa). They're not pushy sales wise and seem eager enough to help when you have an issue. When the Evo was launched the line outside was treated to snacks and water for the wait, and it was handled very professionally... The Epic Touch launch I was the only one in the store ....
I always stop by a Sprint store on my way to work and school when I use to go... It was and still is a very good Sprint store. They might not be able to give you a device on the spot if your current one has issues but they will order you a replacement.. I've taken many phones with a custom recovery install and S-OFF.. no issue with that!

This place is solid. (service center) Last visit was to get my og epic power button fixed. They swapped it out for a new one when they couldn't fix it. They take care of your device within the warranty year (my experience) They also treat loyal customers as you would expect.

Awesome. I hope they retained some of the people who worked there for Sprint. Hands down some of the best customer service/sales people I've ever encountered.
I'll have to pay them a visit and see who might still be there.

I have found that the service centers are usually more helpful than just a dumb old store, usually. I've had several problems dealt with efficiently at the service center in Kennesaw GA, on the north side of Atlanta.
And stay away from radio shack or the generic mobile store with a sprint sign in the window.

There are three full service Sprint stores here in Tulsa, but the only one worth going to is at:
5336 E. 41st St.
Tulsa, OK 74135
The customer service is great and the staff seems to be very knowledgeable. The one time I had to use TEP, they bent over backwards to help me. BTW, do NOT go to the E. 71st St. store in Tulsa - very rude employees.
The repair store in Rocky Hill, CT is great. Guy knew I was rooted and just asked me to Odin back to stock before coming in so he could rule out external software. The store in Newington, CT on the Berlin Tpke is also pretty good for size, selection and knowledge. The South Windsor store by Panera and the high end aquarium store is also pretty good. For purchasing new contract phones I like to use the Best Buy Mobile at the Buckland Mall.
So the story is:
I purchased a 7100 from new egg when they had a $90 promotion. It was a completely impulse buy. I knew I was going to get it but I was going to wait to get it from the AT&T store but I cracked early. Anyways, I read that the international was not carrying the necessary bands to support AT&T LTE bands so I returned the n7100 to new egg and went to the AT&T store. Of course they were sold out and the store I have to go to is more than I'm willing to drive going back and forth for shipments. So I have the rep order me one to be direct shipped to my house. That was on Friday evening (11/9) that I ordered it. So, I now have a tracking number for the phone/sim and have been tracking it since it left the warehouse with a scheduled delivery date of tomorrow (11/15). It going from Fort Worth TX to Lancaster PA so 3 days is about right. I checked the status a few minutes ago and it hasnt changed since 11/12. The phone is still in Mesquite TX and its been there since 11/12. I cant imagine Im going to get it tomorrow if its really still in TX so I asked UPS what I have to do. They told me to deal with the shipper so I "live chatted" and the lady told me that I have to deal with the rep at the store.
Ugh.
Cliff Notes: I ordered a n7105 from att store and ups might have lost it...
Can the sales rep give me one from store stock or does he need to re-order from the fulfillment center in TX again?

hey if u have not got your phone fix yet.. we are in NYC you can sen us your phone we will fix it for you.. pm me for more info
Hey I live in Miami too and bricked my s3a little while ago. I searched all around but couldn't find one either. Just send it to mobiletechvideos.com, it's like $60. I got it back exactly a week from the day I shipped it. I did pay extra for the express return shipping though. I'd recommend just getting the extra $15 fit rush processing.
