Could You download and share BlackBerry software for people who don't have account on HTC.

I use BBConnect for work and I've been able to get it to work on WM6 with PDAVIET Ver. 14 ROM using BBconnect 4.0.0.90.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get this version of BBC to work on any of the newer ROMs. If anyone that has version that works on the newer ROMs, I would be very interested in upgrading.

Please post feedbacks here.
When I found out and confirmed that version 4 didn't support remote syncing over TCP/IP (for example in WLANs), I uninstalled the peice of **** and reinstalled 3.8. WTF was MS thinking? We are trying to move away from using wires and they do this on version 4.0. If anyone finds a way around this, let us know.
it's working fine except for the wifi sync'ing ...... what was they thinking?!
Has any one had a problem using their XDAIIs in the States. I particularly use Outllok to sync with my office server
Been using the SX66 (IIs without the camera) - No problems using it in the US although I have never tried synchronizing with MS Outlook servers (just regular activesync to a windows machine with outlook client)
I have been syncronizing in the US to my Exchange2003 SBS server for almost a year now, I am using Cingular Wireless as my service provieder. I have not had any problems that were the fault of the PDAPhone.
I used to sync my hotmail and msn mails directly with Pocket MSN via ActiveSync, the messenger working too
Now with Live (pre-installed on WM5 AKU 3.5) it stop working (messenger) and i don't know how to re-configure mail accounts
any idea how to configure Hotmail or MSN with new Pocket Live
If any one has "Pocket MSN" installer please send it
best regards
Windows Live
I am using Ivan's AKU 3.5 and this does not come with Windows Live pre-installed. Therefore I downloaded the Windows Live cab-file from the xdev-ftp site and installed it. I just needed it to get access to my Hotmail account. After istallation I logged on to Windows Live and set up to only sync my email (not my contacts) and everything worked smoothly.
Dunno if it is of help, but there is no need to downgrade. I also 'tested' Helmi's UKA 3.5 and Windows Live worked for me (as far as I remember)

I am using the Windows live and I do receive my hotmails without problems. In fact I would say it is better than previous pocket msn.
I have tested to sending myself a mail from other account. I have received the mail on my device ca. 15 -30 sec. after it has arrived on my hotmail inbox. It feels like push mail. Indeed I have started to forward my usual email accounts to hotmail and get it pushed to my device.
Who needs a exchange server :0)
I do exactly the same thing All my e-mail now goes to my hotmail account. Just be carefull that you don't drain the battery when staying connected
I was wondering if anyone has the cab installer for Pocket MSN. The ones before Windows Live? ... I've even asked this in another thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1090483&postcount=334
Is the above cab file the installer?

Strange.
PMSN puts the emails (send & receive) in "Hotmail Inbox/Sent" but Windows Live put the emails (receive? & send) in "Windows Live Inbox/Sent". At least those which I sent via Windows Live goes into "Windows Live Sent", not "Hotmail Sent".

Anyone has Live Messenger or Pocket Live worked via ActiveSync connection??
it doesn't work with me, but Pocket MSN does.
it fails at the final step with "Windows Live is unable to connect. The service may be temporarily unavailable, ..." error, but I have an internet connection (tested by IE)
When i receive an email on my 8525 there are no colors or italicized letters even if they were in the original email. Does anyone know if there is a way to change this so I can see it? I get emails all the time that say "see my responses below in red" and on my computer I can see it but on my handheld I can not. Thanks
Some more details please.
Which ROM are you using?
Account type -> Exchange 2003 / 2007, POP3 or IMAP?
I'm using the unmodified AT&T ROM (Windows 6) with an Exchange 2003 Server over activesync.
That's because Exchange 2003 doesn't support HTML to PDA's. Plain Text only. Exchange 2007 (or POP3 ) is required to see HTML.
Here is your answer:
WM5 / WM6 + Exchange Server 2003 = Plain text email only
WM5 / WM6 + POP3 / IMAP = HTML email
Currently if you want HTML email using Exchange then you need a Exchange 2007 Server to sync too, which incidently runs only on x64 hardware + 2003 Server x64.
Maybe a feature for Exchange 2003 SP3?.... but dont hold your breathe!
Cheers
STi
Thanks to both of you. It sucks that the phone is capable of things my server isn't but I guess that's reality (until we upgrade at least). Much appreciated though.
I use my TP2 to read email from my office Exchange Server. Graphics in the emails, however, appear as http links. When I press the link, it opens Opera and goes to the site. On my desktop, however, the graphics are displayed as part of the email without my having to press the link. Does anyone know how to configure the TP2 so that the graphics are shown in the email in the same way as on a desktop? Thanks.
HTML E-mail via Exchange

Two Possibilities:
1) If the Exchange Server is version 2003, then it doesn't support HTML e-mail (inline/body graphics) for mobile devicies. Exchange 2007 does support HTML e-mail for mobile, as well as other improvements.
I recently switched Exchange server hosts to a different company that uses Exhange 2007 in order to get the improved mobile support, for my personal Outlook stuff.
So...if your problem is because your office is using 2003 you'll have to convince them to upgrade...and then there's version 2010...
2) If the Exchange Server is 2007, then maybe the E-mail Sync Options on your TP2 just need to be fixed: ActiveSync - Menu - Options - E-mail Settings - E-mail Sync Options - Message Fomat: HTML or Plain Text. HTML is usually already set by default...but if you're lucky that may be it. If HTML is greyed out on that setting -- not available to choose, then it's probably an Exchange 2003 server -- no HTML graphics in e-mail.
Thanks, MCBrian. On my ActiveSync settings, the HTML setting for Message Format was greyed out. I guess my office is using 2003 instead of 2007 Exchange Server. I'll confirm that and see if there is any chance they will upgrade to 2007.
