I have a pocket pc hp jornada 568 with rom flash and processor 64mb and operative sistem pocket pc 2002. I need o.s. pockt pc 2003 or upper. The HP company don´t have this upgrade for this model and i need to know if there are another way to make this upgrade?
No. Nice device though it is no one is trying too cook ROMs for it because it is just too old.

nop the rom kitchen only works with wallaby devices so it's not even for any other HTC devices

no htc devices can use a rom made for even another htc device
not sure about hp but i doubt it since they seem only offer rom updates for some devices
and i'm pretty sure that hp change money for updates
cingular is suppose to release the h6200 series which is the 6315 just with 2003se . So if you can obtain that rom then in your good shape.

Not sure about 2003SE (probably not) but you definitely can't upgrade to WM5.
P.S.
It's actually Windows Mobile 2002 / 2003 / 2003 SE / 5. Win CE is the base fro the system but it is a different thing.

The thing is WM 5 is not a generic OS like desktop windows so you can't just download and install it. HP has to create an image for your specific device and they only offer upgrades for the 27xx and 47xx series devices.
You can check their site. If an update exists it will be there.

Nope, the 3870 "only" received the WM2003 upgrade, nothing further.

IPAQ 3870 portuguese - Rom version non compatibility
I have an IPAQ 3870, with Pocket 2002, with ROM version 2.20 language 1 (portuguese). Trying to upgrade to Pocket 2003, using an upgrade acquired at the web, with Rom version 4.0 language: english, there were a non compatibility and no success in upgrading to Pocket 2003.
How can I solve this to use Pocket 2003?

ipaqs don't really have any upgrade options, oem or not. unsure about the 4700, but every other item never received upgrades i don't think
the old ipaqs where the ones that had upgrades, when hp bought compaq their ipaqs stopped having major upgrades
My h3800 or something had wm2002 but i upgraded to wm2003
