WM5 and TouchFlo ? Anyway, sure you can. Just don't forget running USPL before flashing, otherwise you'll brick your phone... Cheers

I had this issue also some time ago. But it was only for the first run of apps (for example when i first started Tomtom, this message appeared. But later it never happend again with TomTom....with other apps sometimes the same issue, but always only on first run....) So i did not care about it.... Is your message appearing more often ? Maybe re-flashing can help ?

Read all forum around - too much of information & options. What you recomend !? I have right now HTC 3300 WM5 & i want to upgrade to WM6.
I have system information like this Model ARTE100:
ROM Version: 1.12.405.1. WWE
Rom date. 9/12/06
Radio Version: 02.67.90
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.28
Extrom Version: 1.12.405.101
Whis is correct version of WM6 to get work everything & english !!! Also i now that before flash i have to use: USPL !!! Question: after USPL, i make restart & then i make Upgrade ? tnx a lot

First : YES YOU HAVE TO USE USPL !!!!!!!!!!
then you can try my new rom if you want... its the newest wm6 version out there at the moment. And its really fast....

And if you're the type to flash around a Cube (TouchFlo) then you should try Meschle 2.1 - that too is a great ROM...
But USPL is a must before you flash...

Hei - there is another one problem with SOUND !!! I put phone sound (SYTEM SOUND) to maximum, but RING sound is very low - the rest of sound (alarm, notification etc) - very loud !!! How its possible to fix this problem, because if somebody call my i can't hear phone !!!?? Tnx

Did you succeed to load WM6? I have same kind of HTC, and I am thinking to do the same.

Do you use GPS with your HTC? I have understood that after wM6 installation there is no Tom tom anymore. From where could I get Tom tom Navigator 6?
Because I have never changed the operator system for HTC, I would like to ask, is it easy and clear to do it?

yes it is relatively easy.
If you search the forums there is a post with a link to the download and it tells you how to install it...then you just need to import your maps and voices

I have tried Start_uspl.exe, but I can see DOS screen less than once second. Nothing happens afterwards.
Do I have to make a hardrest and then bootloader, before I can make uspl?

1) Is GPS as fast as with WM5? Have you tried with WM6?

My problem was Firewall. No it is ok.

Successful ported old good xip.(No corruption after any soft-reset at all)

(I search a solution for that problem about a month ago).....
I manage to port the old XIP section (First wm6 leaked rom) to the new Dopod rom.
Now when sometime's edit you registry and soft reset the ppc No pass lost no mail acount's disapear's No connection setting's lost and other's few think's....
So from cooker's the only think you have to do is to place the ROM folder in your kitchen and build your ROM.
The Os.nb is in Greek but that doesn't affect your rom cause the only think taked from Os.nb is the XIP section and some other info (Like build day (os.nb have the day to: 11/05/07) ,Rom version (os.nb have version: 03.10) on boot etc..).
So when you change your ROM folder with that and build you ROM you have the same ROM like before but with other XIP section.
Do not flash these in your device cause you end with a full Greek language OS!
These is only from Cooker's!
Also the Os.nb have the big_storage function (Merge extended_rom).
Os version: 5.2.1933
Build date: 11/05/07
Rom version on boot: 03.10

in FAMAN 4.0, but it's the only one ?
edit: my device is HTC P3600, CID unlocked with pof tool, running faman 4.0 no mail, gprs, wifi, bt, settings disappear !

I have used FAMAN 4.02 and it has the "settings lost bug". But I havnt tried 4.0

This bug is absolutely awful ! I can confirm it is present in bepe 0.79 and schap's 4.30 ROMS. It will be very good if someone confirm this xip patch is working, and which ROM does support it.
I have configured 4 e-mail accounts in my phone, and when i lose them with that screen-fu**ing bug I just want to kill myself! The last time I have not stylus-reset the phone but remove the battery to restart and i had luck, but i don't know. Now I have configured the a <soft reset> function on one of the hw buttons, and I'm waiting to see if I can gracefully restart the phone when the bug happens again.

One solution
Hey, this night this bug crush me again. But I was prepared
Settings > Buttons > Button 1 (Hold) : <Soft-Reset>
The buttons are working, and all my settings are in place with the soft reset
If you use the hard stylus-reset, it is 80% sure your passwords are gone...
I care no more. I hope this will be a temporary solution.

This worked for me an I also got a bonus from it!
I used this xip section and not only did it cure my disappearing email accounts and lost connection settings but it also changed my device id back to an old id allowing me use the TomTom navigation program I purchased a while back. Each time I updated to a rom with a newer build, the device id changed. TomTom keeps a database on their server of device ids and product codes. When you load tomtom software onto a new device or a newer rom on your current device you have to reactive the tomtom maps (by typing in the product code that came with your map purchase). If the device id and product code don't coincide with what tomtom has on their server the activation fails and you cannot use the maps. I already used up all my chances to update my device id online and also had tomtom update it manually for me one time. I spent between $200 and $300 buying the software and paying for updated maps. I was disappointed that I was unable to use it just because the device id changed when I upgraded roms. I'm glad I no longer have to revert back to an older rom just to use tomtom.

not working solution for me

After all these contradicting reports and my own experience with the original Dopod rom, I get the impression that it's not only related to the xip, but must be linked to some other circumstance.
Some people lose their settings over and over, while others like me are mostly unharmed. I have just once lost some settings in my htc home, while password and WPA-keys were never harmed.
Have fun!

I read on FInixNOver Rom post that it does not lost settings. But I will try it by myself, because I do not believe in this kind of comentaries, where everything is sou beauty.. hehe

The free storage is 92.64Mb, and the free program 62.23Mb after instal, testing now thanks PhamQuang.

same problem here.
for the rest no problems found yet ......and indeed a verry fast rom

I used his ROMs on my previous Hermes, they were extremely fast and stable so I will surely be flashing this new ROM
Does this ROM include Manila or is it a Lite ROM?

Phone Dialler Missing
So I flashed this one, and it is very fast. Only problems I have found are that
1. Advanced Config does not run - it show as having an error and more importantly,
2. I cannot see the phone dialler pad. It is there, cos I can press the numbers but it does not show at all. Anybody else?

I can see the phone dialer, so its there! Did you had a hars-reset after flash? do that allways, I make hard-reset 2-3 times after flash. Fast rom as usual from PhamQuang with pleanty of free ram
One issue: When i make a call I cant increase the volume. If i tap the up/down i get system and ring volume not the call volume?

Hi pafimal.
I am a great fan of PhamQuang from PDAViet, but alot of his ROM's have bugs from the outset, I tried this new ROM for a day, and it is not bad at all, but I prefer my 1.93.479.3 WWE ROM by default.
I have tried pretty much most of the ROM's here on the Diamond threads, and prefer Bepe's ROM's by far, I am waiting for the final version of his latest ROM soon..
I also flash back to my original/base ROM before trying any of the cooked ROM's, I learnt that from my Artemis days, i.e so as not to get any remnants of the last ROM used before using a cooked ROM.
So bottom line is it is fast and stable, lots of extra RAM, cool appz, worth a go for sure.

Danish never releast with 1.96 ..... maybe will be last one releast on earth ... 1.96.710.3 from asian WWE stock rom .. i just make in Danish language ... just upgrade and test you'll see ..... so far so good i havent find any bugs ... feedback if you found anything wrong with it ...

nothing but some of new driver or App .... but if you stick with the Old driver .. ur device not moving fast .. anyway ... all of us wanna something new ... and different that why APP or OS always been update

Dane here too.. Nice with some danish roms here .. ! Going to try it soon.. But i was just wondering if you could list some of the apps that you have put into this rom? And what about phonekeypad is it from Touch HD with the arrows to change words?

Looks great, and really nice to finally get an updated Danish ROM. Thank you for that and all your hard work with making this possibly.
There are a few bugs though:
* Not possible to select/change ring tone
- Select Start>Settings (Indstillinger)
- Select Sounds (Lyde)
- Select Messages tab (Meddelelser)
Incoming Call (Opkald) is missing from the drop-down list.
Once in this menu, it cannot be closed - you have to do a soft reset to close it fully.
UPDATE 2008/11/18: I just realized that I have NO RING TONE AT ALL, which means that the phone will neither ring, nor vibrate on an incoming call!!! Major bug!
*Problems with updating Weather
- Select Weather tab
- Choose Update
Error.
- Install Weather Database Editor 1.2 and soft reset.
- Select Weather tab
- Choose Update
Now the update works.
* No hands-free in Bluetooth mode with Bluetooth stereo headset
- Turn on Bluetooth
- Connect a Bluetooth stereo headset
Only Wireless Stereo is avalable - not hands-free
(I'm running the BS14 radio. Will try to test it with the .05 radio tomorrow - maybe this is the reason for the missing hands-free functionality.)

I dont have any ring tone either.
When i try to set it in Start->Instillinger->Telefon, when i select a tone and play it, it works fine, but when i press OK it changes back to another ringtone that dosent work.
Vribrate works fine.(but i cant disable it anywhere)
And my weather tab seems to work fine.

I hope that he can fix this ! That would be just perfect!

hey seriously nice work with the rom... fastest ive tried.... i only have the one prob.. i can´t change the ringtune, can you look into it? thanks for the ROM and keep up the good work
